One Last Time

I sighed for the umpteenth time. I was nervous and anxious at the same time. I didn't want to go in but at the same time, I knew I had to.

I knew I had to end this.

I open the door to the cafe and the bell above it chimes.

I see Lisa raise her head to glance at me.

"Oh good it's you." She says with a sigh of relief. "You can help set up."

"What's wrong?"

"Well we're having a pack of business partners who booked this place to have their business meeting."

I look at her confused. "Why can't they do it in their office?"

"They want an outside office atmosphere."

"But why this cafe?" I ask as I walk behind the counter.

"I hear it was recommended."

Recommended?

Are we that known?

"Really?"

She nods. "Yeah. Turns out one of the partners recommended this place."

"Must have had a taste of our coffee." I say with a hint of pride.
