Evil Organization

Tigreal Pendragon turns his head to the left side. His deep and heavy voice reverberated in the silent room. "Zais, what did you find in Shadowless Forest?"

A slim man clad in black ninja attire was looking at the eyes of everyone present before answering. "Just as you suspected, guild master. They left before our team started their operation as if they knew about it beforehand. I think we have a traitor in…"

"Enough!" Cut Tigreal with a firm tone.

"We didn't have time to think about that. The most pressing matter is to find out about our enemy plan."

Zais Oddkind, who noticed a hidden message behind Tigreal's words, solemnly nodded without saying anything else. Both of them have been working together for more than 50 years. With just a minor hint, either one of them will understand the other intent.

Besides, assassins like Zais didn't talk much. To be precise, he almost didn't speak at all except when he had to.

Suddenly, a young man with long blonde hair that sat beside Zais showed his disagreement. He said in a calm and polite manner, "If you agree, my team could seek the traitor for you, guild master."

Tigreal shook his head before calmly replied while maintaining his image as a leader. "Don't worry, Alexandre. I have my own way of doing it. Focus on your own assignment."

"Yes, guild master." Alexandre didn't dare to argue further.

The room was silent once again until Tigreal himself started another conversation five minutes later.

"Professor Izack, have you finished deciphering those symbols?

Izack shakes his head. "Not yet. The symbols are too alien to me. I need more samples."

"Hmm… Don't worry, I have sent Krignel and Emonar to look for more." Tigreal's firm tone replied with a nod by Izack.

Tigreal was thinking for a full minute before twisting his neck to the right. "Pascal, tell us your reports."

Pascal is the administrative head of the adventurer's guild and also Francis's superior. He is a serious man in his forty. His shoulder-length blonde hair emphasized that he wasn't this area native. But the man is so loyal to guild master Tigreal because of unknown reasons.

He is Tigreal's right-hand man in the guild and often acts as substitute guild master when he leaves Alexandrium.

His body is thin, and his face rather stiff. He is ass tight about the rules and can't stand a sight of untidiness, especially messy hair. But inside, he is actually a kind and amiable person who is also a worrywart.

After smoothing his hair with his left hand, Pascal starts reading the report. "Our branch in Catania reported a strange movement of one evil organization in the Avantheim Kingdom. The biggest one. He suspects that they have a relationship with our main target.

"That branch also reported an increase in the number of complaints from adventurers in that area. According to him, this is a sign that the government of the Avantheim kingdom started to put pressure on us.

"The strange thing is, our Autumnshield branch is reporting a similar case."

Francis stopped speaking and observed the reaction of five other people present before continuing.

"Our branch in Murador, Salamis, Galilea, and the Karkemis Kingdom reported that dark monsters begin to appear near a small village. Especially the Galilea Kingdom that is located near Shadowless Forest.

"Only the Antiokia Kingdom Branch reported that everything is normal."

After Pascal finished his report, everyone had their own view and opinion about the current situation of the Palonia Continent. But no one expresses their opinion and waits for the guild master to speak first.

"Our enemies have made their move. The priority is still the same, thwart the plan of Shadowcifer Organization…"

When the sky brightened, Jack still couldn't shake off the shock that he felt last night. His eyes are heavy, dry, and sore. But they won't stop staring at the work that he'd been doing all night.

He has deciphered ten magic circles, including the fireball spell, and found another fact that keeps bugging his mind. The fact that the magic circle is written by a JavaScript programming language.

That's why his eyes keep staring at a paper that contains the translation of a simple fire spell and the fireball magic circle for almost twenty minutes.

"Sigh… I only could accept it at this point. The magic in this world is worked based on JavaScript language and written in Javanese alphabet…"

After a few seconds of silence, Jack suddenly shouted in anger. "Are you fuc*ing kidding me!"

Jack nearly smacked the table in front of him with both hands but managed to stop himself from doing so.

Staying up all night made him on edge. He has been trying to comprehend the composition of the fireball spell after translating the magic circle into an alphabet. Sadly, he only could understand a few parts, especially the beginning part, because his knowledge of JavaScript is only at a beginner stage.

"Damn! How can the MC in an isekai novel always have all the knowledge they need to conquer the world? They always seem to know what to do, but here I am… lost at square one.

"Fu*ck! This is discrimination. Why do I only get a crappy system that only can display my own parameters? Oh, oh, and I still haven't forgotten about the hours I spent on creating my avatar only to get a different one.

"The one that brings me to this world! Whoever you are, I will sue you after I return to Earth. You hear me! You will rot on Earth's Jail for centuries...

After venting his anger for a while, Jack finally calmed down. Suddenly, his stomach rumbled.

"Sh*t! Reality sucks…"

Realizing that he was already behind his schedule, Jack stuffed a bread inside his mouth while wearing the crow armor.

After verifying that he brought all his mining equipment, Jack hastily left his apartment.

"One step at a time. Blackrock Mine, here I come…

...

On top of the Alexandrium library, an old man with white hair silently observes Jack when he runs along the empty street of Alexandrium City.

After a while, Izack's eyes suddenly widened. "He really went to the mine?! It was supposed to be a joke…

"Sigh, I will tell him later."

When Jack arrived at the mine, the guards there stopped him from entering.

One of the guards puffed out his chest before said. "Hold! Only miners are allowed inside the Blackrock mine. Wait… is that a map of the old Blackrock mine?"

And this is the first time Jack got lost in this world.
