Chapter 7

They had made it to their first destination!

The town Muer was bustling with life but it seemed to have a very high crime rate, so bad people roamed more than good. Eirwen was very interested in the people, especially the bird people that he finally got a glance at.

"What are you looking at kid? *Spits*"

And they're unexpectedly hostile.

Eirwen gulped before looking away, it's best not to provoke bird people. Doxin seeing the interaction glared down the bird person until the carriage moved them out of his sight.

"I have a friend who has an inn here, we'll go there and park our carriage."

"You have a lot of friends Doxin," Eirwen sighed thinking of Ollie who was the only one he got a bit close with. "Haha don't worry you'll make friends as you travel," Eirwen didn't believe him, because when they went to the markets together, Doxin would glare at everyone peeking at his form. How do I make friends if I have a partner so protective like a mom?

Eirwen quickly threw the thought of Doxin being his mom out the window. People who act like moms are wise! That is what the old man in the village had said when he was a rock.

Doxin parked the carriage and paid some people to take care of the ox's while Eirwen checked the stuff before locking it up tight so no one steals.

"I'll head in first and get a room," Doxin called wiping sweat off his head from the humid atmosphere.

"Okay"

As Doxin went inside the inn that was covered in flowers and had a pleasant feeling, Eirwen sat at the end of the carriage on a wood beam. He analyzed the behavioral patterns of the people in this town and determined 60% of the people out on the streets today had done crime or did crime such as stealing and overall appearance can determine the nature of people.

Eirwen swung his legs while observing when a light tap hit his shoulder. Turning around he saw a vampire species of the weaker type smiling at him which Eirwen determined as not genuine.

"Do you need something?" Eirwen frowned.

"I was wondering what you're doing at my carriage."

A scheme. Eirwen instantly knew what is to happen. The man will claim this carriage is his with reasonable information leaving the victim stuck on what to do, making a scene in front of many people, they go for the weak. Then if he has friends, they will also claim the carriage is theirs while the people in the background watch making the victim feel pressured and even more not knowing what to do, in the end, its a fight, and the winner wins, or the victim hands over his carriage willingly and submissively.

"What scum," Eirwen murmured before turning away no longer caring to deal with this vampire.

"What did you say? YOU HEAR THAT?" The vampire wasn't done, he grabbed Eirwens arm while calling out most definitely to friends, who showed up angry. "What did you call me brat? Boys he called me scum! He's clearly stealing our carriage and tricking us so that the people will feel bad and deem us as the bad guys!" The vampire yelled loud enough for everyone in the vicinity to hear causing many eyes to be on them.

"It's useless to talk to you people so I might as well cripple you." Eirwen had enough. He was angry and agitated.

These guys ruined his peaceful observation and his data collection on Muer town is not fully analyzed but it seems since Doxin isn't back, he'll have to put that on hold for a while and deal with these degenerate dirtballs.

Awaking his combat data he broke the grip holding him and hit the vampire's leg making him fall while taking out a blade and holding it to his neck.

"Bottom of the vampire food chain, 32 years of age, preys on the weak, lived a deviant life, do you want to die? If not, then run as far as you can in five seconds...1...2.."

Eirwen released his hold as the vampire ran like the wind screaming in fear, along with the rest of his crew.

[Intimidation success]

Smiling at the experiment well done Eirwen went back and sat on the wood beam in a good mood once again. The people who watched the events sweatdropped as they moved hastily by the carrage.

"Master we got a room!" Doxin called as people came out to take the carriage to a safer more secure location using magic to help it move much smoother. Eirwen smiled as he followed Doxin.

Doxin watched his face before turning around and glaring far into the distance where the vampire had screamed off to.

"You're in a happy mood." Doxin laughed.

"Yes, I scared some pigs for the first time," Eirwen didn't reply after Doxin asked what he meant and instead looked at the room they got. "It's very nice, should we get some food?" Eirwen asked while setting his some stuff down they brought in. "Yup, afterward let's have a bath master!"

...

"SO this is the cute thing your traveling with?"

Eirwen looked up from the table they sat at finding a female who seemed familiar with Doxin and guessing this was the friend he was talking about. Doxin sighed scratching his nape, "Trixie you say everything is cute."

"Thank you for the compliment," Eirwen bowed before showing the flowery goat lady what he wanted to order.

"Alright teeny weeny what do you want?"

'Teeny weeny.' Eirwen's eyes widened to saucers as he looked at Doxin in puzzlement, an unknown feeling brewed in Eirwens chest as his lips unconsciously curled, he laughed in amusement as he tried to cover his mouth looking away and no longer being able to look Doxin in the eyes without laughing. It's the first time he laughed so much Eirwen thought at one point he would die.

Doxins face turned red as quickly ordered and then watched as Eirwen was holding back laughs while sometimes not being able to hold it and a small giggle would come out. It was so cute in Doxins eyes but embarrassing to how it came about.

"Okay, Eirwen stop laughing!"

"I-haha sorry, every time I look at your face- hahaha- oh my gosh" Eirwen couldn't calm down and he slapped his cheeks to wake up.

Giggles would be heard every now and then, as a human and neko ate their meal in a warm atmosphere.
