Embrace Failure!

Hearing the place she was going to leave for, got Xytan thinking of something strange and funny. In the movies, she died 2 different ways, then she died in a fight against Star Killer by suicide. Inside legends, she survives and hides away safely on a planet for years until the fall of the Empire.

Xytan was unsure what Dimension of Star Wars he was in, but he surely hoped it was Legends.

Now, she was heading to Kamino, her original and main post. It would be at that time when she eventually believed there's some fault with the clones, she would even ask about the chips in their heads.

Xytan wanted to hint to her about the chips, but that might change a few things that wouldn't be within his scope.

"Is there something you want to say?" Shaak Ti saw that Xytan was looking at her strangely, and couldn't help but ask.

"Nothing, just be careful while you're there."

"Hmm, I will." Shaak Ti smiled before turning around to leave.

Right as she was walking away, he sensed that someone was watching but he knew who it was.

"You can stop hiding now, Viola." Xytan turned and looked toward the intersection corner, he could see Viola peeking out every now and then.

"Ah~! I..." Viola was stunned and felt a bit embarrassed for attempted eavesdropping, but she had just arrived so she didn't see the transaction that had occurred just moments ago.

"Forget about it, let's go to my room to test how far your abilities have come," Xytan smirked and signaled her to follow him.

"Okay!" Viola gasped and said excitedly.

The little duo quickly made their way to his room, he wanted to stay there any way to continue his practices.

"Wow, so this is Xytan's room, I've never been here before!" Viola looked around and ran to his bathroom to check the whole room out.

"Your room should be somewhat the same, is there any difference?" Xytan sat in a chair that came with a desk set, which was close to his bed.

"Yes, my room is a bit smaller than yours. My room's shape is also different from this room but my bed is bigger than yours." Viola looked around and concluded.

"It was like that, huh? I thought we all had the same room set up, like a copy and paste." Xytan rubbed his chin that was devoid of any hair.

"Paste? What's that?" Viola asked confusingly.

"It isn't anything important, you'll figure that out as you get older. Anyway, what is important is your progress. Look at those stones in that corner over there, you'll need to lift 1 up to show me how far you've come."

Xytan changed the subject and pointed towards the stones in the corner of his room. He had asked for these stones and the Jedi Knights had no problem giving him these stones for personal practice.

"Stones?" Viola looked into the corner and saw 6 stones, they didn't look like much compared to the ones she usually lifted.

"Okay!" Viola's expression was filled with naivety and confidence.

Almost instantly, she went over to give it a try. Right away, she tried to lift them all up at once but of course, that could only fail. Viola was confused about this failure, this had never happened before.

Xytan assumed at this point that the smaller strange stones must weigh at least 100 pounds each. Viola looked back Xytan, who was staring right back at her as he looked her in the eyes before smirking.

Viola's eyebrows knitted, she saw that look at the smirk as a challenge; this was not towards Xytan but towards the stones, she felt she had to triumph over. This time, she tried to lift 1 stone, Viola was actually smart enough to start off small as she had underestimated the weight of these stones.

Viola found that she could barely lift the stone, it was, in fact, straining! She only lifted it so high before dropping it to the ground and panting.

"The stones are small, but why is it so heavy?" Viola turned towards Xytan, who was just watching the situation.

"They're special stones meant to train your abilities, that's why they're so heavy. This is why my advancement was so fast, this is some good stuff." Xytan didn't hide it and just told her.

"What? Really?" Viola knew that lifting things and calling on the force would improve an individual's abilities, but she didn't know these stones were his reason for his advancement.

"Yup! But you can't tell anyone now, it'll be like...our little secret." Xytan smiled and said.

"Mhm, yes, our secret!" Viola nodded in swift successions, she seemed to like the idea of having a secret with Xytan.

"Perfect! Now meditate and try again, you might be able to lift the stone with ease next time." Xytan wanted her to get stronger, he didn't want her to be met with an accident later.

"Right!" Viola didn't even question it and started meditating on the floor in front of the stones.

"Hmm...I wonder if this will work?" Xytan squinted his eyes as he stared at Viola's back.

...

Name: 'Jedi' Youngling (Viola Von Vindamel)

Gender: Female

Rank: Transparent

...

"Well, how about that!" Xytan had tried this before but it didn't work on anyone, so why was it working now? She was still low on the Ranking level, well, the Lowest Rank but that could change through time.

In fact, this wasn't a rank at all. The ranks started with White, but this was Transparent; meaning there was no color to it yet.

Xytan didn't say anything while she was meditating and just looked at his system. That's when it happened, he heard a notification.

...

[Ding! Congratulations, your Mandalorians have successfully turned in some wanted criminals!]

[Ding! You've received: 800 System Points!]

...

"Huh?" Xytan looked and heard the system's surprising words, he was stunned.

"They left yesterday, they found a planet to turn these guys in already?" Xytan evaluated that they must have given him 200 points a piece, however, the fifth guy wasn't worth anything so he received nothing for it.

"Good, I was a bit worried about how I could earn more system points. I guess I found one way to get points, and that's by turning in wanted criminals." He didn't have to do it personally, he could have his summons search and capture the said criminal.

Xytan looked at Viola again and saw that she was still meditating, this got him thinking about something else. For some reason, the young Jedi Kal Kestis came to his mind, the guy would be 12 years old when Order 66 occurred.

The time he started fighting back and becoming more active would be 5 years later, so he would 17 during the Fallen Order events. At that time, Xytan would be merely 10 years old, which could be considered an older youngling.

Xytan would also be 5 years older than Luke and his sister.

Right as he was thinking this, Viola opened her eyes then she attempted to pick up the heaviest stone amongst them. Her expression serious, her hands were shaking but the stone didn't budge, not in the least.

Xytan watched, then she tried again, but yet again...nothing.

Viola stopped trying, but Xytan sensed her great disappointment.

"You should focus on the good aspects of things, and embrace this failure to get stronger. I know I had to, I failed a lot to pick that stone up. I was just able to pick the thing up today, so as of now, I failed more than you."

Xytan jokingly said.

"You did? You failed a lot but just managed to pick it up today?" Viola looked back with wide eyes and asked.

"Yep, you can't expect to succeed all of the time, one step at a time, you know." Xytan nodded and said.

"Right, I understand!" Viola took a breath and nodded with a smile.

Viola continued to try again, but she avoided the heaviest stone and focused on the smaller ones. Xytan reckoned that he could lift just over 300 pounds, but he wondered how far he could push in pounds.

There was a place he could test this out, so he would give it a visit some other time.

"Tomorrow, we're going to watch them build their lightsabers, I can't wait to see it in action." Viola had already stopped at this point.

"Yeah, I almost forgot." Xytan wanted to just watch for himself, though he had seen it on TV many times, why not?

Viola yawned, she was clearly tired from her training today, they did more training than the norm.

"Xytan, I'll go to my room and sleep." Viola rubbed her eyes and said bye to Xytan before leaving out of the room.

"I guess I better go to sleep as well. Good sleep is always a good thing." Xytan took his robes off and laid in his bed, before stretching and going to sleep.
