The next day, Xytan got up and got ready as usual. He cleaned himself and brushed his teeth before exiting his room. There were no classes today, so no youngling was training, but if they still wanted to train they could.
Some of the younglings still wanted to train, so most of them went to that same place as yesterday to practice those jumps. Xytan, however, was anticipating watching the creation of a lightsaber in first person.
Until then, he wanted to practice his lightsaber combat. Xytan wanted to grab something to eat and start working on these new lightsaber forms. Today was a free day, the Jedi Knights and Council members just made sure that the younglings and older younglings got their training in.
The lunchroom wasn't as pack today with younglings, but it was enough here to hold him up a bit. As usual, he got in line behind a Padawan, this guy already had a master and all. Xytan could see the lightsaber on the Padawan's side, it was black with a bit of silver on it.
Xytan paid no more mind to it, he was already 1 step close to getting his own in the future. Time passed slowly and Xytan was able to get his breakfast. He didn't see Viola or Jin around at this time, he believed that they were still asleep so he paid it no mind.
After eating his lunch, he went to the bathroom to take a leak before going back to his room.
"Ah, that was a good breakfast, I should have asked for seconds but they'll only say don't be greedy."
Xytan walked up to his bed and pulled one of the manuals he received from Shaak Ti out from underneath his bed.
"This will help me survive if I come into any danger, this form was is a must-have, haha!" Xytan pulled a Manual out; on the cover was a silhouetted man holding a lightsaber with 2 hands blocking a blaster bolt.
This could be no other Manual but Soresu!
"Hmm, the resilience form, the way of the Mynock." Xytan opened the book and this was the first thing he read. Xytan started to read the book silently to himself, it showed many illustrations and examples of this form's feats.
Xytan read enough and started to look towards his system. There were some items that were free, so he got himself a wooden practice blade for free. Thus, his practices begun, he started to visualize being attacked by blaster bolts.
Xytan visualized being shot at by blasters. Parry after parry through this visualization used by the examples from the book. This training went on for an hour before he took a break. Xytan would focus on this form solely for now, he could train in Makashi some other time.
Xytan drunk a bottle of water before meditating for a little while, then he started the same routine again. He didn't want to get his clothes sweaty, so he had long taken his top off while practicing.
Xytan knew he hadn't gotten it down yet because he had not heard a notification signifying that he had learned Soresu. Right now, he needed to have a strong defense to prevent himself from being taken down by possible blaster bolt or lightsaber strikes.
...
[Ding! Constitution has risen by .2]
...
"Hmm..." Xytan suddenly stopped when he heard the notification, only to find that it wasn't what he was expecting.
"This isn't bad either, in fact, this is a good thing so I'll keep it going. It's a defensive form, so Constitution seems right, I guess." Xytan only nodded before continuing. He strangely wasn't tired after this rigorous training and had kept pushing forward. Any normal person would have taken a break or meditated at this point.
Whether Xytan knew it or not, he was actually gaining assistance from the force, which was fueling his determination to thrive. After another hour of practice, he finally stopped training to meditate.
Right as he was meditating, he heard a knock at the door. He wasn't sure who it was but he assumed it was Viola. However, upon sensing this individual's presence, he found that it wasn't her.
Xytan got up and opened the door and found that it was Mace Windu!
"Little guy, so this is your room, I finally remembered you when you were first brought in. You showed good future prospects at that time." Mace Windu said as Xytan silently invited him in.
"Oh...well, I don't remember any of that." Xytan was an infant, so it was natural he wouldn't remember, but he in fact did remember all of that. But how could he say that he remembered such events as an infant?
He could only lie.
"Understandable." Lines appeared on Mace's forehead. He remembered talking with Xytan not too long ago. He was good at sensing the emotions of people just like Xytan, of course, other Jedi could do it but not as easy and accurate as the both of them. The emotion he felt coming from Xytan at that time was worry.
He naturally knew the source came from his survival, so he took this matter seriously. This helped with the fact that he knew Shatterpoint; this had completely shocked him.
"So, Master Windu, what can a little kid like me do for you?" Xytan strolled over to his bed and sat on it.
"I was wondering if you got to see the whole picture of the scene during that fight you showed me? I need to find the Jedi traitor, this Sith also needs to be routed out." Mace wanted to say more, but he was talking to a mere child who wasn't even half a teen yet!
Mace sighed, he didn't know what to think anymore but he didn't want the Jedi to fall. He was going to talk to Yoda about this but he figured he'd try to talk to Xytan to see if he had gotten a better picture of those silhouettes. At least the place the fight was happening in would be good enough to put some clues together.
"Sorry, I've got nothing. I can't help you with this, you just need to watch the Jedi closely, that's all I can say." Xytan held his hands up in a helpless manner.
"....." Mace just looked at Xytan, then he looked around the room. He saw the practice blade and knew that Xytan was training to himself.
Xytan had a bold idea, thus he grinned strangely.
"Say, wouldn't it be nice to teach me that Form 7 Technique, Vaapad?" This Technique would ensure that killing Sith would be far easier on him once he learned it.
Mace's eyes went wide from surprise hearing this.
"Kid... this Technique is far too dangerous to be taught to a toddler. Form 7 is used by Sith, and if Jedi used it they would have a great probability of falling to the Darkside. You might not understand yet, but in time you'll understand everything."
Mace finally returned to his serious manner and declined Xytan on the spot.
"But you use it all of the time when dealing with Sith, don't you? We're virtually the same in most aspects, we both were born with this strange skill that I found that no one else could use. That must count for something, right?"
"You have a point, but you're still a kid. When you get older, I'll consider it; I can't even take you as a Padawan. Your mind might not be able to take the pressure of the Darkside, so wait until you've grown up."
"Tsk! If the Jedi aren't destroyed by then." Xytan sneered and jumped off his bed.
"Not if I can help it!" Mace grumbled, but he couldn't say anything more. Xytan knew that no matter what—the Jedi were destined to fall as long as he didn't give them any answers.
"Uh, huh. Master Windu, is there anything else you need from me." Xytan smiled innocently and asked.
'This kid and his smile!' Mace scoffed in his heart, he already honed in on Xytan's personality to some degree. He could tell that this kid would love battle as much as he did, in fact, he wasn't against teaching him Vaapad but he was just too young to learn this. And Mace disliked Darksiders very much—to the point where he would execute them on the spot if he believed them dangerous to the Jedi and its entirety.
"Nothing more, I'll be taking my leave now. I'll come and talk to you again in the future, if we can't figure anything out, then we may have to have a private discussion with the Grandmaster." Mace concluded.
Before he could walk out of the door, Xytan called out to him to wait.
"Hmm. what is it?" Mace turned to ask, believing that he may have figured something out.
"I know this sounds bad, but can you say Muthafuckas in a serious and belligerent way!" Xytan had to ask this. He almost burst into laughter when he asked him to say this.
"What?" Mace was dumbfounded.
"Kid, don't speak vile language, this is one of the first things you must know as a Jedi!" The corner of Mace's mouth twitched, he simply couldn't believe a toddler was talking like this.
"Ah... sorry, it won't happen again as long as I'm a child." Xytan nodded and said seriously.
"As long as you're a child?" Mace was speechless, this youngling still had some learning to do, he thought.
Mace finally turned around and left the room.
"Grandmaster Yoda, huh? I'd like to personally talk to this guy." He had seen Yoda come sit in on the youngling's practices many times, but he'd leave after watching for a bit.
Xytan had no problem talking with Yoda, as he wouldn't tell him the truth anyway. If Sidious were to find out that he was on to him, then there could be trouble. However, Xytan wasn't worried about Sidious finding anything out, ever.
The Jedi would fall, he wanted it to fall as it should!
Yoda happened to be one of his targets to talk to in this matter but not his main one. This Jedi would spend most of his time hiding during the purge, so he wasn't really that much of a target to convince.
Xytan stretched before continuing his practice of Soresu.
