Gabriel

To say the mansion is large would be an understatement. It was absolutely ginormous, half as large as the entire district I live in. Who the hell needs such a large house? Whatever, that's not important. I need to find the noble and bring him these files.

A large fancy gate blocks the way into the mansion, but I easily hop over it and onto the other side. As soon as my feet touched the ground, guards from all over the grounds rushed over to me, swords drawn. I saw this coming of course, but I wasn't expecting this many. There were thirty seven of them, each with their swords pointed at me. I don't have time for this though.

As they're all screaming orders at me, drawing ever nearer with each passing second, I hop right over them and dash inside, not bothering to look back. The moment I step through the main doors, which were three times as tall as me I might add, my mind started racing.

I have no idea where in the mansion this noble will be, and that's assuming the noble is here in the first place. What am I going to do?

I could just zip throughout the entire mansion and check each and every individual room, but even if I came across him, I wouldn't recognize him at all. Beside, that would be time consuming even with my super speed. I could ask around, but I don't think anyone would tell me. With my mask still on my face, an idea hits me.

I don't need to ask. I should take someone hostage and demand they take me to him. It's not preferable, but it's the best idea I have. Once I determined my plan in the span of an instant, I began to scan my surroundings.

Right as I entered the mansion, I stepped into a large reception hall. All around the hall, servants stood in position, ready for any incident that may take place. Any incident, except of course, an intruder. Each and every one of them stood, shocked in place, staring at me as I stood before them. Behind me, I could hear the guards as they ran to apprehend me from behind. I guess I don't really have time to think.

Without sparing a moment, I bolted forth and grabbed one of the many servants that stood in the reception hall as all thirty seven guards flooded in from outside. I quickly spun around, the servant held in front of me as a shield, and faced the guards who had pursued me.

"Take me to the noble! I have something important that can't wait!"

"I don't care what you need to do! You broke onto Gabriel's grounds! We shall have you executed at once!"

"What about this servant I hold in my grasp?"

"She shall perish for the greater good!"

Woah, wasn't expecting that. Wait, what's happening!? In the corner of my vision, I could see the guards marked on my map, as they were acting aggressive towards me. What was strange was that out of nowhere, a bunch of red dots also started popping up behind me. Oh crap!

The servants! I can see them all slowly approaching behind me, and I can hear their almost silent footsteps. To be that quiet, they must be specially trained! It seems like I'm surrounded on bother sides. I only have a two advantages over the servants right now. My crazy powers, and my knowledge of them being trained to fight. As far as I can tell, they don't know that I know. Time to use that to my advantage.

"You servants step any closer and I'll kill your friend!"

Immediately, all the red dots behind me ceased movement. It seems I've caught them off guard, which was exactly what I was aiming for. While they're distracted, I can make a run for it. I was hoping to get the information I needed with a few threats, but it seems like that won't work, so I'll have to just zoom through the mansion and check every individual room.

"I'm impressed you noticed them. My name is Gabriel by the way. I heard you were looking for me, so I came to see what you wanted."

I could practically hear the servants heads whip around to look at the the man behind them. I could see the eyes of the guards in front of me as they shot open wide with shock. I guess he really is here based on their reactions.

Without turning around, I replied to Gabriel.

"Yes, I was looking for you. I need to show you something important that I brought with me. If you don't mind, I can hand it to one of your servants and have them take it to you."

"Yes, that will work. You, go and grab what the masked girl has."

"Yes sir."

One of the servants slowly approached from behind before stopping just behind me.

"Reach into my leather bag. It's in there."

Doing as I said, the servant reached into the leather bag and pulled out the documents. She then slowly stepped back until she was a certain distance away, them she turned around and quickly walked over to Gabriel. Once she handed him the documents, I could hear him flipping through all of the papers, examining each and every one. Once he finished, he called me over.

"Guards, servants, stand down. Masked girl, come here. I need you to explain exactly what is going on and I want to know how you got these papers."
