How can I be this weak?
Even though I have a reasonable amount of intelligence the rest of my stats are apparently useless, making me useless.
"Ben. When did you plan to tell me you weren't full human?" I said it calmly, but I felt so angry and expressed it with my facial expression.
"Uh-uhmm!" It's good Ben didn't have anything to say, if not I would've punched him in the face; like that will do anything to him.
"I'll let it go for now, but you better explain it to me later and this time everything." I finished with that and removed my stats window.
Then I noticed something weird as I looked around the kitchen checking for a few vegetables for soup.
[Name : Broccoli]
[Type : Ingredient]
[Value : 20 bronze]
[Weight : 255g]
[Description : Can be used to cook and gives the body nutrients that enable proper growth and stronger bones]
[Effects: (none)]
'Hmm! This stuff is really handy, but I got a bunch of things I have got to test out.'
I thought to myself as I started rushing to prepare the soup in the cauldron under the fireplace.

"Zeus, stop running around! I'm trying to focus." I reprimanded Zeus and told him to sit quietly close to his brother.
Hades fell asleep after I found them eating that meat. At least, I'm happy I don't have to look for milk to give them.
Ben went out to look around to know where the hell we were, and I asked him to help me look for the town's library, if there is any.
*Sigh* 'I'm finally done cooking the soup.'
I rested my back on the wall and looked up at the wooden ceiling. I wondered:
'What is the meaning of: Black Candidate or Chess king?'
"Maybe I'll get my answers when I go to the library."
Although, I said that I couldn't help wonder who my dad was talking about when he referred to someone as 'him'; he should be the main reason dad was ambushed.
"Danton."
As I heard her voice I couldn't even think of what to do there as I just froze up.
VERA STONEHEAD
I woke up with a sharp headache and pains all over my body in a room with one medium-sized bed.
This place is my husband's second house close to Glarmox, the Elf kingdom.
'How did I get here?... I can't remember.'
'I will try to remember everything I can before I got here.'
'I was telling Ben what I think Rose was, and before then, I was talking to...'
'Danton!'
I stood up and ran out of the room as fast as my legs could take me.
I immediately got to the sitting room and didn't see anybody, my heart raced, and I fell into despair. If anything happens to my son I don't know what I'm going to do.
I searched the second room and didn't see anyone, until I heard someone speak.
"Zeus, stop running around! I'm trying to focus."
I slowly walked to the kitchen, as I saw a round faced boy with long deep-violet hair, mauve-coloured eyes and fair skin that all combine to make girls his age drool over him.
"Danton."
I called his name as I walked slowly to towards him. I became overwhelmed with joy that my son is alright.
Since he's on the ground, I bent down and hugged him, but he didn't even move or hug back.
"Danny, how are you feeling? You're not hurt are you?" I asked worriedly as I held his shoulders, but his head was faced down like he didn't want to see my face.
"Mom. I'm sorry b-but d-dad c-couldn't--" He said tearing up, but I stopped before he could finish by putting my finger on his lips.
"Your father will come back to us. So don't worry too much about him." I told him that, but I was actually just talking to myself.
"I-I understand... mom. He said... I should tell you... he loves you more than anything in the world."
As Danton said that I wanted to burst out crying, but I bit my lower lip instead and said,
"He's going to get it from me when he comes back because he didn't say it to my face."
I smiled and hugged Danton once again before standing up.
"So, where is Ben?" I asked Danton and for some reason he looked like he was frozen solid.
"He went to look around the vicinity to locate where we are." Danton answered but in a small tone that one will barely hear.
"And by 'vicinity' you mean 'area' right?" I already knew, but I just wanted to lighten up the mood.
"Yes." He answered plainly and without his usual high-spirited self.
My son has definitely changed, and I know it's permanent, but I'm still going to try to bring him back to his old self.
"Mom. I'm going to start at General Magic High in the next two months."
I became shocked as I heard his say he wants to learn magic after saying he didn't want to last night. I am not going to discourage him or disapprove of it because I know he'll need to learn to protect himself, but...
"Danton! Please don't do this because you want revenge. Your father is going to be back, I'm sure of it." I knelt back down and shook Danton as I pleaded with him.
"I know mom. I'm only going because I want to get stronger, so this won't repeat itself. Especially... now that you're pregnant." I was shocked. I didn't even tell my husband, so how did he know?
"How did y--"
"Don't worry about that mom. I'm the one that's going to protect you and my younger brother from now on." He looked at his hand then smiled meekly like his father as he looked directly into my eyes.
He has become more mature than how he was, and I guess this is what his father wanted.
"Who told you it's going to be a boy?" I smiled playfully as I asked.
"I just know." He replied still smiling then stood up from where we were and moved to the cauldron.
I didn't understand what he meant, but I decided to let it go since it's obvious he doesn't want to tell me.
"What did you cook?" I stood up and also moved to the cauldron.
"Chicken Soup."
I started noticing my surroundings a bit better, and I noticed two dogs that were a little bigger than how they were just the night before, then my mouth dropped agape.
"*Gasp* Is that Brundlehuff and Grumblestiff? How long have I been sleeping?" I asked because I couldn't just believe my eyes.
"It's Zeus and Hades, mom," Danton spoke like a proud father and I forgot they went with those dumb names, "And you have been out for about 9 hours."
"Then how did they grow in just one night?"
"Yes, and about that, mom please can you tell me what you know about Rose?" Danton redirected the question and that means he also doesn't know.
"Hmmm... Rose was already with your father by the time I met him."
"And when was that?"
"Uhmm... About 25 years ago, if I remember correctly."
"What? So you and dad grew up together?"
"Yes. Me, your dad and your dad's best friend – Constantine. They wanted to become 'hunters', so they trained hard since they were five years old. We met when they came to my dad's workshop to either fix or purchase armour, swords and so on, from time to time, at that young age." As I finished speaking, Danton's face contorted in a way I've never seen before.
"I'm back!" I heard the entrance door open and was relieved I finally heard his voice.
We all sat in the sitting room as chatted as we ate; Danny told me his plans to go to the library later on and why he wants to wait two months before going to school; Ben told us we're at a southern part of a small town at the border of Glarmox and Blivern called Bridth (which I already knew), and that is serves as a medium in transporting goods from both countries and its ran by merchants.

DANTON STONEHEAD
I left the house to the library with Ben, Zeus and Hades. I bid mother goodbye before I left, and she told me not to stay out late or else I'm done for.
On my way, I could see small buildings and a few tall, made out of bricks; I hardly saw a building that didn't sell something. They really live up to their name of being the merchants' playground.
"P-Please excuse me!"
'Boom'
I heard a female voice behind me and the next thing I knew I was on the ground covered with books.
'Ouch'
As I tried to stand up slowly removing the books on my body I felt something different on top of my body.
I removed the book covering my eyes so I could see what was on me.
She has light-blue hair that stopped at her neck, steel-blue eyes, a small figure and pointy ears?
