Chapter 126 Time for Violetta's growth...

"You want me to unleash what?" I asked as I tied my hair in a twin tail.

Violetta gazed back at me as she nodded.

While I couldn't see her expressions I could understand that she wanted to see me unleashing a powerful wave of aura without controlling it.

"That's impossible." Unless I lose my own sanity I won't be able to do that, though I can do that with a more weaker wave but I don't think Violetta wants to see that.

Violetta didn't believe so as she moved her arms in the air like a child.

"Fine fine, don't be like that. I'll give you an explanation." Let's just bore her until she surrenders. Just give her loads of non-sense and she will just drop the subject.

The air in our surrounding was suffocating, not a single patch of green remained and only the remainings of few corpses and ashes could be seen around us.

Thousands of creatures still surrounded us, thousands of these creatures still were hostile to us but none of the present creatures dared to approach us even though we weren't using our aura.

Something definitely happened when I was asleep for both Violetta to ask me such thing and for the sudden change of behavior of these creatures.

*step*

*step*

Other than the occasional growl from a creature and the sound of my steps the surrounding area was completely silent.

"Emotions. Negative ones or positive ones...they are brought from the person the moment they interact with anything...a flower that you see blossoming might make you feel a pleasant amazement, the chirping of birds feel relaxing, touching something slimy disgust, tasting sweets happiness or smelling the stench of blood abhorrence..."

My eyes went back and forth between the eyes of the various creatures, fear and hostility emanated through their eyes.

"...the more you spend time, effort and attention to a certain person or thing your emotions towards them consequently raise up, whether they are positive or not, and even anything related to them can influence your emotions...you feel both sorrow at the death of your pet and that of your wife but the degree of it varies..."

There are people that might feel more sorrow at the death of their pet than their wife.

I chuckled as this thought entered in my mind, "Sorry sorry.Ahem. Obviously emotions cannot be explained rationally since emotions are in nature irrational...but we are here because I want you to understand why I cannot show you my uncontrolled emotions at will."

"Mmm...there's an intensity where people feel about a certain thing, eating sweets might bring you more happiness than eating meat or hearing someone screaming might bring you less anger than hearing someone screeching...as one gets older interact they with more things and experience life they start to classify what they enjoy, dislike or hate and as they do that they subconsciously put a degree of emotions they feel on those things and obviously time can also dull those emotions towards those things..."

Violetta tilted her head still unable to understand.

"What do you mean it's too complicated? I mean...that's the point of what emotions are..." In the first place there wasn't any real meaning in what I said...

"You just want to know why I don't want to show you my uncontrolled emotions?"

Violetta nodded.

"Then we have to start-"

I couldn't even finish as Violetta hastily stopped me.

"Boring? Ha? Do you want to be slapped?"

Violetta only raised her chin in response.

"Tch, fine..." Since you want to be slapped...

Violetta stood there in front of me waiting for me to speak.

After a minute passed Violetta became annoyed by how I wasn't responding and only mysteriously smiling.

Then before she could do anything else her head exploded.

"Hey hey calm down. I only hit your head not your core so no worries."

Her blade stopped just an inch at my throat.

"So? How are you feeling?"

"Angry right? But you controlled it, you didn't even conjure your aura to protect yourself-"

"It is because you knew? Pff, don't be ridiculous. Even if you knew one would be extremely angry even if I attempted to hit them yet you subconsciously controlled your emotions."

"There there, you will be able to see what you want in the future, you'll stick with me for a really long time after all."

The two women conversed without care of their surroundings yet none of the creatures attempted to attack them.

The blackened soil and the countless deaths taught them that these two women won't be brought down just by their sheer number.

While Deva's speech didn't have a real purpose atleast for her and just already forgotten by her, however Violetta imprinted everything Deva said in her mind and vowed to not forget these words for future references...for Violetta emotions were just tools to amplify her powers yet from her creator's words it seemed that emotions are more than just tools...and Violetta wanted to see that and feel that. Could she really feel something else if she were to eat the meals her creator eats and interact with other people other than her creator? Violetta wanted to know...why her creator view emotions different from her, who see emotions just a tool to use for her creator.

Unaware of her creation's thoughts Deva gazed at the creatures surrounding her and even if Deva knew of Violetta's thoughts she would just leave her to own thoughts and desires. To grow is to exprerience things in your own and develop your own views from that.

"I especially enjoy watching and observing others whether I interfere with them or not."

"Mm? I choose not to immediately head towards that tree because I felt like it?"

"Don't be silly, I did this to farm experience and to know my limits, these creatures were like moths attracted to a lamp."

"My smile is a bit weird? My smile is perfectly normal. What? That's the problem? I really don't understand you..."

I leveled up enough in this place, now it's time to reap all the benefits of this place.
