Chapter 188 The released emotion forming something greater

A heavenly user and a demonic user. Their two opposite auras clashed.

Joy clashed with sorrow, anger clashed with calmness.

Various vague shapes wriggled to form more solid forms, they were conjured before being thrown towards the enemy.

Lucia subconsciously attacked Deva without stopping as if she was afraid that something might cause her once again to behave in a strange way.

Deva remained still as she skillfully defended herself the onslaught of the ire of the Saintess but because of the anger and shock that the Saintess was feeling that the attacks weren't the powerful.

However, the Saintess was not alone, in a matter of time the walls around them were reduced to dust revealing the figures of countless warriors. These warriors did not hesitate to charge towards Deva as they immediately viewed Deva as an hostile.

The warriors drew their maces, swords and spears as Deva was quickly engulfed by their killing intent.

Mages chanted and spells flew out. Offensive spells, recovery spells, defensive spells...Deva was as well engulfed by myriads of spells attempting at her life, slowing her movements, reducing her defences or slowly chipping away her life with poison.

Assassins appeared in her blind spots and with their daggers coated with deadly poison they were ready to strike at her vital points.

If one were to carefully watch the faces of these mighty warriors, mages and assassins they can see that many of them shared the same face. These were all clones and if not for not being too much suspicious Lucia would've already created millions of these clones.

While Deva was battling with a battle of aura with Lucia she was not that weak that she was unable to defend if not conuterattack.

Spikes shot out from the ground impaling the warriors and assassins around her, the spikes were thin but their penetrative force was so great that armors were unable to block the advance of these spikes.

Blood, flesh and brain matters immediately scattered around Deva. The spikes disappeared leaving corpses with a thin hole in their bodies.

Then massive tentacles appeared as they lashed out towards the incoming spells while a great number of thinner tentacles quickly shot out towards the mages. They coiled themselves around the neck of the mages strangulating them to death.

But not a single spike or tentacle was sent towards Lucia who was still struggling to fight against Deva.

Lucia did not despair but dread started to appear within her. She was also shocked as not even her can have such control and multitasking with her own aura. To understand and refine one's own aura one required to interact with the 'fuel' of one's aura and it happened that emotions are rather difficult to understand, those who have an aura like them also have the probability to twist and change in another person as the emotions they use as fuel can influence them or outright lose themselves.

The Deva who was standing in front of her was not the Deva she knows, the Deva in her mind did not exist to the begin with but Lucia wondered how can a person change that quickly as if they were merely acting a role.

"Was this all just a lie?!" Lucia roared as her aura weakened for a split second while several figures started to take shape besides her. They were the warriors, mages and assassins that Deva just slaughtered.

Since there was no limit on creating these clones Lucia did not hesitate in creating more and more and in no time the number of clones she created far surpassed the ones that Deva just killed, they charged and attacked like before.

Rivers of blood flowed, bones were broken and flesh were piled and ultimately reduced to dust or ashes as the two continued to battle.

But the emotions that clashed did not vanish in the void but instead gathered above the two and formed a vague embryo, the two seemed to not notice it not even Core and the others who could see every angle of the battle could see it.

"Your love was genuine and in fact came from your heart. I happened to use those things to applify them by several folds." Opposite of the current state of Lucia, Deva was calm as she conjured and controlled her aura.

"You being a possessor of an 'End' and a heavenly user further interested me compared to other girls." Deva calmly stated but such statements only brought Lucia shivers.

She knew everything since the beginning?! Lucia thought.

"You, however, cannot reach the ones I hold the most in my heart. You are merely I happened to meet and after that be interested more and more."

The more Deva talked the more Lucia became angry as her aura strengthened. The aching in her heart hurt so much to the point that she couldn't bear it but the same time she recollected the times she was so happy just by being together with Deva despite being all just a farce.

She did not stop as she recollected the most happiest times of her life that seemed to be linked with Deva.

Her aura surged as she created without stop more clones. Again, the two opposite auras clashed.

Like a sword that was being sharpened whilst battling Lucia's aura became more and more refined as she battled against Deva under Deva's words.

While this sword paled against the sword that already was refined to its limits it confronted it fearlessly earning even from Deva a praise but such praise from Deva was just an insult to Lucia's feelings.

"How dare you even have the right to praise me?! This is from the tears and sufferings I had to bear!" Lucia started to control the clones and giving them orders making them more efficient as they attacked Deva.

They would sacrifice even their lower body just to remain alive and take a step forward. These clones started to survive longer against these deadly spikes and tentacles but that is all they could do, if Deva unleashed used other means to deal with these clones then they would perish without doubt.

The already refined sword seemed to help the other sword getting stronger.

Unknown to them, the embryo was surrounded by a transparent bubble as within that bubble the embryo developed to a more shaped fetus.

It listened to the bickers of its mothers while at the same time seemed to gain nutrition from the released emotions growing quicker and quicker as the two continued to intensify the battle.
