Chapter 5

"So, you are a robot- an A.I. Helper who's memory chip was consumed by this girl. You were stuck in this girls head but now that his girl is dead, you can use her body. Is this correct?" Loki asked

I nodded

Thor grimaced and scratched his head. "This is why I don't like technology. It's too difficult to understand"

I shrugged

"Why can't you speak normally?" Thor asked

I put my hands up in an 'X' shape.

"You can't?" Loki asked

"No voice?" Thor asked

I shook my head *My voice is a power that I am still trying to get a handle on. I don't know what will happen if I speak now* This whole telepathy is hurting my physical head and is getting annoying. I should use telepathy less often.

They were still confused but let it go.

"We're going to have to take you to see the king. From there, we figure out what to do with you" Loki said

I nodded. I've got nothing better to do. After a few day of being hospitalized, we finally set out to meet with the king.

I get in this box shaped car that's run by horses. A carriage, I think is what they called it. It's so surprising how different our worlds are. In my world, we have cars that can fly through the sky and go past five hundred miles in only a few minutes.

The king's castle wasn't very far, so we only spent a few hours in the carriage.

When we got to the castle, we were met with an angry looking man.

"Where were you two? You were supposed to have been back yesterday! The king had been waiting!" He yelled

Loki grimaced and said "We're sorry, captain. We had run into some unexpected occurrences"

Thor ran his hands through his hair nervously, "Yeah. It wasn't our fault"

The captain, who had been glaring at the both of them, looked over at my direction. His stern face morphed into a look of surprise. "And who is this?"

"The unexpected occurrence." Loki replied

The captain sighed and said "You two will need to explain all of this when we meet the king"

Both Loki and Thor nodded and we followed the captain into the castle.

The castle was built by bricks and every corner looked the same. There were multiple doors, one after the other. If I weren't being led, I would have totally gotten lost in here.

We stop in front of large double doors guarded by a couple of guards. They open the doors for us and are greeted by several other guards. At the end of the room is a regal man with a getup that showed who was the king. He was young with light blonde hair which was slightly messy at the top. His piercing brown eyes stared at us from atop of his throne which was made from gold and decorated with jewels. Very cool. I approve.

He waved at the other guards and said "You may leave"

The guards followed instructions and one by one, left the room.

After the last guard had left, the king stood up and stretched. "It's about time the two of you came back. What in the world took you guys so long?"

I noticed a guard next to the king who hadn't left with the others. He had a mask that covered the top of his face. His jet black hair shimmered a light blond in the sun. How he do dat? Anyways, his mask doesn't cover his light blue eyes that stared me down. He kinda looks like…

I looked at the king who was listening to Loki and Thor explain what has happened so far, then back at the guard. Are they related? Brothers?

I noticed Loki, Thor, the captain, and the king staring at me. I kinda jumped in surprise because I wasn't expecting so much attention. Scary…

They saw how surprised I was and Loki said "The king had asked for your name. It's Julia, right?"

*My name is Niko Ky* I told him

He relayed what I had said to the king. He looked astonished. "She can use telepathy?"

Loki nodded "yes"

"She doesn't speak much, with or without it though" Thor added

The king looked over at me with an odd expression. I tried to get his attention off of me so I pointed to the guard next to him. His jaw went slack and said "You can see him?"

I tilted my head, confused. Is that not normal?

The guard in question stepped forward "I had a feeling you could see me. Allow me to introduce myself, I am the king's personal guard. And his twin brother, Leo"

Called it! Also, what's the point of the mask if no one can see you?

The king stepped forward and asked "We will need some time to think of what we should do with you. For now, would you like to go home?"

I shook my head. No way!

He nodded and said "We have enough rooms for you to stay. If you don't mind, I'm thinking of letting you join the knights since you have magic qualities that would be useful to us. If you work for me, you could have a room here to stay until you get a place for yourself"

I don't have any other choice. Sure, I could leave. But then what? I have nowhere to go and this body needs nutrients and rest. Something I was not used to. The best choice is for me to stay.

I used my telepathy on everyone this time *I agree but only if you keep my existence a secret from Julia's parents. Let them think this body is dead.*

He nodded in agreement.

I guess you could say that this is where my life as an A.I. Helper ended up helping an entire kingdom- no, the world.
