*GRAAAWR!!*
*BARK!!*
*GRRRR!!*
The six eye-monster snarled, barked, and growled at the crowd, exemplifying the fear the bandits currently have. The monster was then became accompanied by multiple floating eyes standing beside it.
"Oh crap, it brought many more!?"
With that moment, the multiple glowing eyes charges forth, as the lights of the lanterns shine on the purple eyes, it shows that the body of a wolf, but its entire body is pitch black.
"A shadow?" one bandit said as his body refuse to operate normally. The shadow then jump at the bandit's face, seeing nothing but darkness.
*Crunch!*
The shadow sinks its fangs on the bandit's throat, killing him almost instantly. The other shadows charge towards the bandits to continue the assault.
"AAAGH!!"
"Crap! We gotta take out the six-eyed monster!" one of the spear wielding bandit yelled.
*Grrr...*
The green eyes began glowing and the wind began swirling around the six-eyed creature. The rain that was invisible in the dark also swirled around it.
*AWOOO!!*
A howl was heard and the wind around it disappeared. The lightning dances within the black clouds and rapidly grew brighter and struck downwards.
*KRAKA-KABOOOM!!!*
*BWOOOOOOSH!!*
The lightning strikes down upon the campfire and everything around it and then a tornado roared from the impact.
"A tornado! Get out of--GYAAGH!"
*SLASH!*
*Poof!*
A bandit deals the shadowy creature a seemingly fatal blow, but that creature only became smoke upon impact.
"They're fake! Everyone, these things are fake."
The tornado howled while being briefly illuminated by the lightning dancing inside of it. The lightning strikes at the towers and tents while the tornado shreds everything in its path.
The shadowy creatures also snarls and growls at the army, instilling fear upon the masses while killing more in their wake.
{Meanwhile...}
I gaze upon the lights in the distance where the lanterns and the occasional lightning flashes where Gris, Noire, and Saeva take control of the battle. However, Noire's shadow clones can only amount so much. The reason they're not pushing forward is the fear of a "unknown creature."
*Bwing!*
[Arex has arrived at your location.]
Arex reappears beside me and wears the cloak around her.
"I see it's going well." Arex said.
"Yeah, but Noire's clones can only do so much. I can see that her clones are slowly getting cut down more than she can create." I said, observing the battle unfold.
"Any suggestions?" Arex asked.
To push in further, I better head forward. A small deviation, but it'll go in my favor even more.
"Zala, Santrasa, let's move in. Arex, watch over the surroundings." I said.
Arex nodded and flew upwards to become my second set of eyes. We head towards the mountain side to get closer to the battle. I remember a skill that I did not get to use. I should put it to good use while I'm at it.
I reach the battlefield with Zala where the three cause mayhem. I look at the bandit that was recently killed with its throat ripped out. It's time I use Necromancy.
"System, I plan to make an undead."
[30 corpses found. Select undead. 1000 EP for each reanimation.]
With the 30 corpses nearby, I've selected Skeletons for all of them.
[30,000 EP required. (10,000 per reanimation)]
"Do it."
[Acknowledged. Now reanimating...]
After the message, a dark purple aura engulfs the corpse in front of me and the corpses around. The bandits that was once killed were being reconfigured, altered, changed.
As the purple mist fades, shows a standing skeleton wearing nothing at all except the spear once a bandit held. Many others stood up as skeletons too.
[Reanimation complete.]
"S-Skeletons?! How can a monster have Necromancy!?" one of the bandits screamed.
"Attack." I commanded.
*Clack!* *Clack!*
The skeleton army rush towards the army. Their clacking sounds as they run, the clumsy running, the glowing purple eyes, and their open mouths as if they're screaming. But there's one missing.
"You, come here." I said, pointing at the spear wielding skeleton. The skeleton walked towards me and looked up. "I name you Mirtis."
[Skeleton is now named as Mirtis.]
I decided to evolve the skeleton so that skeleton can command the army. I select the evolution paths for that skeleton.
[Skeleton > Greater Skeleton > Skeleton Guard > Skeleton Knight > Death Fighter > Death Knight]
"Mirtis, evolution."
[Acknowledged. Now evolving.]
At that moment the naked skeleton became enveloped in dark mist while my new skeletons are fighting alongside of the shadows.
"It's no good! The skeletons and the shadows are coming back no matter how many we take down!" the bandits yelled.
*Slice!*
"AAAGH!"
The skeletons and the shadows began cutting down the bandits, forcing the army back. Not only that, the morale of the bandits continue to decline.
"Stand back! Earth Wall!" yelled a female bandit.
*RUMBLE!*
With a swing of her staff, a wall of stone rises from the ground, blocking the corpses, skeletons, and the shadows.
"The skeletons and the shadows will be held off. Anyone got an idea how the skeletons got here?" the female bandit asked.
"No clue, we were fighting the shadow things and that six-eyed monster raised the skeletons!"
As I am watching the evolution unfold, 50 more corpses lay in front of me. I reanimated them into skeletons as well.
[500,000 EP deducted. Now reanimating...]
[Reanimation complete. You have 80 skeletons at your disposal.]
With more skeletons on my side, there will be greater support and I will be able to stall them for longer. I also see that Mitris has finished evolving.
Mirtis is now 7 feet tall, donned in black heavy armor with deathly white skulls on the chest area, the shoulders, and the belt. Mitris also wears a horned helmet.
[Evolution complete. Mitris has evolved into Death Knight.]
[Due to evolution, Mitris has risen to Rank A.]
[New Skills acquired for Mitris. Earth Resistance, Dark Magic-VIII, Terror, Physical Resistance, Regeneration, Curse Magic-IV, Super Strength, Shadow Sneak, Bone Weapon.]
When a skeleton evolves enough, they can produce a weapon out of bones which regenerates itself. Its strength is also dependent to the user's rank.
Mirtis turned to me, with his eyes glowing blue. He then knelt down, treating me like I am royalty. I have one simple order.
"Kill them all." I said.
