We turned to the corner to look for the blue light, only to witness something incredible. The blue light was in fact a large and bright gemstone emitting that blue light.
The blue crystal is held by a single stalagmite, like a shining jewel sitting on a pedestal
For me, I remember this crystal. It is a Rank A Water Magic Crystal. Those things rarely come in the mines of any empires, but fairly common in the dangerous territories like Dystoark.
I must find a way to secure the crystal without damaging it as it will cause a huge explosion. I could put that crystal into her Falchion, but it has went through some wear and tear and I can't guarantee it'll survive the influx of magic even if it was fresh out the forge.
I'll have to keep it safe until I forge a weapon capable of withstanding this magic. I placed my hand out to use my Space Magic.
*Vzoom*
A pale blue barrier appeared and I surrounded it to make sure I take it cleanly so that no one can knock it over and bury themselves.
I then clenched my hand and the blue crystal vanishes instantly as the space surrounding it briefly warped surrounding it.
[Rank A Water Magic Crystal has been safely extracted.]
"Wow...we didn't need pickaxes for that." Hyoran said.
"And some monsters will think twice about approaching. That's where you'll come in, Xydrid." I said.
*Arrr!*
Xydrid growled excitedly and walked outside of the cave.
*Shing!*
I walked to the sound at the entrance to see a deep claw mark Xydrid made. Though effective for weaker monsters, but it might fall through if a stronger monster feels confident. I have to keep in mind that Xydrid is only a young dragon.
To go on the safer side, I have to make Xydrid stronger again.
"Dragon Heart, Young-X." I said.
"Yes."
[Acknowledged. Now progressing Dragon Heart.]
After the message, Xydrid's heart glowed brighter and his body grew bigger, his claws grew longer and sharper, the horns on his head grows longer also and spikes grew on his back slightly.
His body soon grew into the size of Steinberg and emitted hot air from his body.
[Dragon Heart Progression complete. Xydrid is now at Young-X.]
[Skills acquired for Xydrid. Fire Magic-V, Accelerated Regeneration, Dragon Ward-III, Dragon Pierce-III, Dragon Scale-III, Tenacity, Intimidation.]
[Due to progression, Xydrid has risen to Rank F+.]
[Reminder. Xydrid can now evolve.]
With this, there will be a higher chance of monsters thinking twice about crossing our fellow dragon.
We walked out of the cave and Xydrid made a mark again, bigger than before. I opened the rift again and we walked through it, returning to our base.
We see that the skeletons are finished with the stables and almost finished with the shed. I also see that the skeletons are building a fence wall around us.
When they finished, they found me and knelt down.
"Nice, nice work." I said. I went inside the house to see the tables, cabinets, chairs, and couches.
"These skeletons ain't playin' around..." I thought. I walked back out of the wooden house and the skeletons still knelt down.
"You all done well." I said. "Await for further orders."
The skeletons, the Death Knights, and Mirtis stood up and I enlarged my shadow to go under their feet. My undead soon turned black and melded into my shadow and everything was normal.
*Caw!*
Burya cry out, descending to the ground through the thick forest.
"What is it Burya?" I asked her.
*Caw!*
[Burya has detected a Goblin Village. 15 minutes from here.]
Okay, but I have no reason to go there while I am trying to do the more detailed work like adding more materials. I grabbed Hyoran's hand and created a rift to the cave.
*Vzoop!*
"We'll be back, y'all. Call us if anything strange happens." I said. "Also, Saeva, Xydrid, you two gotta hide yourselves. You draw attention that way."
We walked through the rift and closed it behind us, we soon entered the cave Xydrid marked and saw various ores like Iron, Coal, Silver, Gold, Magic Crystals, and more.
I used my Space Magic and my Mind Acceleration to take the necessary ores and crystals and sending them to my isolated space.
[30 Iron Ores, 30 Coal Ores, 30 Silver Ores, 30 Gold Ores, 50 Magic Crystals acquired and sent to Isolated Space.]
I continue to advance further into the cave to find more ores and I took them via Space Magic. I have taken the total of 500 ores in all.
During that process of obtaining them in bulk in 5 minutes, it has exhausted me, breaking out in sweat. I put my hands on my knees as I breathe heavily.
[Caution. Magic reserves low.]
"You're sweating. Are you okay?" Hyoran asked out of concern.
"Yeah, just give me a minute..." I said. I heaved a sigh and stood straight up. "We're done here, let's head back."
I opened the rift and we walked right through it, returning to my wooden home. I closed the windows around us and I began to start crafting.
And by crafting, I mean creating. But first, I must ask Hyoran some questions.
"Hyoran, how's that sword feeling?" I asked.
"It feels a little heavy when I first picked it up. Then I have gotten used to it. But it showed some cracks." Hyoran said.
"Okay..." I nodded at her details of her falchion. I began my crafting.
*Voom!*
*CLINK!* *CLUNK!* *THUNK!*
I put out multiple ores and magic crystals as my supply and made sure it is ready.
"Hyoran, what weapon you want?" I said.
"A sword, lighter than this." Hyoran said.
Iron is one of the common metals like Bronze, Copper, and Brass. Iron is the most durable, but the most heaviest. Steel is lighter and stronger than Iron, but it doesn't come by itself. Fusing Magic Cystals, sharpen, lighten, and reinforce those materials to make stronger weapons. However, that depends on how powerful the crystal is.
"Weapon Creation." I said and a screen came up.
[Select weapon type.]
"Sword."
[Sword selected. Select material.]
"Iron, Coal, Magic Crystal."
[Materials selected. Magic Crystal detected.]
[Fusing Iron and Coal into Steel...complete.]
I opened the rift to grab the Rank A Water Elemental Crystal and the message popped up.
[Rank A Water Elemental Crystal detected, would you like to add it to your creation?]
"Yes."
[Acknowledged. Allocating skills...complete.]
[Give weapon a name.]
"Turbulent Wave."
[To complete weapon, select skills would you like to adjust.]
"Water Dominance-IV, Water Nullification, Fire Resistance, Lightning Resistance, Pure Water."
[Skills added.]
[Due to amount of skills and materials, rarity cannot go below Uncommon+.]
[EP required for creating Turbulent Wave: 1,500,000.]
[Proceed?]
"Yes."
[Acknowledged, now creating weapon...]
With this message, my iron ore, coal ore, magic crystal, and the water crystal, began floating upwards and collided into each other.
*Fwash!*
A white light emitted from the collision and began to glow. Only I can do is to wait for the results.
