Base Construction (Part 3)

The white light flashed before us, showing a common rarity and then it turned green.

It did say it will not go under Uncommon, but with those skills and materials, it's gotta be Rare at the very least.

The green light grew bigger and turned into a blue color.

"So I was right, it went into Rare, but that crystal should put it to Epic." I thought.

*Shiing!*

The blue light grew larger and became purple. I smiled and Hyoran gasped.

"It's already better than my old weapon." Hyoran said.

*Clink!*

*Crumble...*

Pieces of rock fall from the purple light where I did use Space Magic to separate them, taking bits of rock with it. The system just got rid of the unnecessary bits and focused on the actual materials.

*SHWING!*

The light that was purple grew larger and turned orange. A bright orange light that became nearly blinding. Hyoran shielded her eyes as it is too intense for her.

"Kain, what's happening!?" Hyoran yelled.

"A legendary...I created a legendary." I said.

There are times that finding a Legendary could be from killing bosses, unique mobs, and completing missions. However, there are some games that makes legendary items have a low rate of obtaining them; some say it's less than 5%.

Rarities like this can carry players for a long time and even make them keep the weapons because it looks cool. Even if that said legendary happened to outlive its use, it is kept as a priceless treasure.

In the end, I created a Legendary. My first legendary in my 10 years here.

*Vooom...* *Vwooom!*

The orange light began pulsing, emitting orange waves. Is it a sign that I have created a Legendary weapon?

*BWA-SHOOOM!!*

I was wrong, the orange light that was there before exploded, pushing us away from our feet.

The wooden window doors were forced open and the intense light beams from the windows. My monsters became restless and began running around. They roar, bark, screech, and howl at the light. The monsters outside my base also became restless.

I looked to see that the light is no longer orange...it's red. What I am seeing is a red intense light. My jaw dropped as to express my shock. And then, I began to smile ear to ear and began chuckling. What I'm witnessing is a creation that would change big time.

"Kain! What's happening!?" Hyoran yelled with her eye closed and covering her ears. "Why is everything so bright and red!?"

"I can't believe it...I've done it...! That deep crimson!" I said, standing up as the crimson light beams inside the house. I began chuckling and it became louder until the point I can't hide my excitement.

"I've created a Mythic. A Mythical Weapon! I'VE DONE IT!!" I yelled and began laughing. Like a mad scientist who has made a scientific breakthrough and will change history forever, shaking every government down to the very foundation.

Although I created it for Hyoran, but this milestone of me creating and witnessing a Mythic here will be mine and mine alone.

*BWOOOSH!!*

The crimson light explodes and shows a glowing crimson red aura from the weapon. The wind and the intense light dies down from the explosion.

I ran up to the red light and got a closer look of the sword.

The sword I created has a white handle with a blue cross guard at the middle. The blade is 40 inches long and is slightly curved back. The blade is tinted a deep blue like the ocean, yet its luster is a gemstone polished into perfection.

The pommel has a deep blue crystal, the same crystal I have acquired has been carved and polished into a spherical shape.

[Weapon creation complete.]

[Congratulations, you have created a Mythical Grade Item.]

[Due to the Mythical grade, the skills will be added and adjusted according to the created weapon.]

This is...this is better than Zaneth's Lionheart by leaps and bounds. Lionheart in the game was all about dealing raw physical damage, more on beasts as well. However, that's all it can do.

Turbulent Wave, however can go beyond that and give support to the user, making it a viable option even if it wasn't a Mythical weapon.

The weapon floats down while it is surrounded by the crimson aura. I catch it and gaze upon its glory of my creation.

Hyoran stood up as I turned around, holding the sword in my hand.

"Behold...this weapon is for you." I said.

"It's for me?" she said, pointing herself.

"Yeah, this sword is called Turbulent Wave. This weapon is LEAGUES above the weapon you had before." I said. I give this to her.

Hyoran takes it and a rush of power flows into her. Her wolf ears and tail spikes and a magical aura of water rushes around her.

"Wow...I can feel the power." Hyoran said, admiring the sword and newfound power. "This is much better than that other weapon."

"What you think? Love it?" I said. Hyoran smiled.

"I love it." Hyoran said. She hugged me tightly in appreciation. I hugged her back to reciprocate her feelings.

*Smoosh...*

As she was hugging me, I felt a soft, yet memorable sensation on my chest. It seems Hyoran didn't just grow in height.

*Swoosh!*

A gust of wind came through the window only to see Gris has went through the window.

*Bark!*

"What is it, buddy?" I asked to Gris. Gris turned his body towards the window to show what happened. I walked to the window to look out, but no one came...yet. I used Overvision to Groza, Burya, Vampa, Schwarze, and Viridesca.

As I switched to Schwarze, I see a group of goblins marching towards our direction and is closest to us that is 20 minutes away with 40 of their kind. Next, there's a group of Orcs coming who is one hour away, numbering to 5 in all.

All of which are coming to the same direction.

"They caught wind of the Mythical grade weapon." I said. "Get in my shadow for now."

*Shoom!*

Gris went into my shadow and I went to the door.

"Kain? What did Gris say?" Hyoran said.

"We're gonna have company." I said and went outside.

"Everyone, get behind the house. Saeva, Noire, get in my shadow." I said.

All my monsters ran to the back where Noire and Saeva jumped into my shadows.

"Groza, Burya, Vampa, Schwarze, Viri, keep an eye out and don't let them see you." I said through telepathy.

I pull out my Halberd and equipped my Nightly Shroud. Hyoran did the same, but now holds her new Turbulent Wave.

This day marks the first conflict inside Dystoark and if I can unite the races, this forest will be better than before.
