"Alright, there is a panel at the wall behind the fifth pillar." Andre said. "Go to that wall. Once you do, come back to me."
I went to the wall and placed my hands on the wall behind that pillar. The reflective tile on that wall went inside and the section of the wall began to move.
The wall moved to the left and gave me an opening to a dark passage way alight with torches. I look to the left of me to see a torch is leaning forward.
"Okay, I did it. I see a dark tunnel ahead." I said.
"If you see a torch leaning forward, put it back to where it came." Andre said.
I walked inside the tunnel and pulled it back.
*KE-CHACK!*
The door behind me began to move back to where it came and closed it, making it look like nothing happened.
[You are outside of its influence, your skills has been restored.]
"I made it in." I said. "I'll bring you out, now."
*Voom!*
I brought Andre out of the Isolated Space and he pulls out his spear. The spear began glowing almost instantly.
"Looks like we're close." I said.
"Nah, even better." Andre said. "Follow me."
We begun to walk down the tunnel between the torches, descending deeper into the ground and further away from the church.
"That Space Magic is really convenient. Without it, we'd never make it this far." Andre said.
"Yeah, and once you get the weapons, I'll use Space Magic again to clear out." I said. "Even if they somehow catch wind, we'd be gone by then."
"Was it rough getting in?" Andre asked.
"No, but I did encounter two people, they're knocked out for now." I replied.
"Did they see you?" Andre said.
"Yeah, but for a short second." I answered.
"Well, as long as we get what we needed and get out, we'll be fine." Andre shrugged. He then notices his spear glowing brighter than before to the point the torches cannot compare.
We reached the end of the the stairs and see four stone blocks sealed away in locks and chains made out of silver along with talismans imbued with Holy Magic.
"Well, what do you know? There's four of them in the same place." Andre chuckled. "To be honest, it was gonna be in separate churches, excluding that church I've been in."
I scanned the four chests in front of us.
[The four chests are protected by a Tier XXV Holy Magic Spell along with talismans meant to ward off Vampires specifically.]
With a flick of his wrist, he summons his Sanguine Persecution in a crimson light.
"You gonna use one of its unique skills?" I said, nudging him with his elbow.
"I got a better idea." Andre suggested.
Andre carries his mace and walks up to one of the stone blocks. He lifts it above his head and swung down at it.
*BRA-KIING!!*
A white barrier appeared upon impact, stopping his mace completely.
"Of course, they took measures with it." Andre said. "But it ain't enough."
Andre lifts his mace again and swung again.
*KRRRNK!!*
The white barrier showed cracks on the second hit. After that, he swung again.
*KRRSSSSHH!!*
*CRASH!!!*
The barrier shattered on the third hit and struck the stone chest. The stone chest exploded from his mace and revealed what's inside.
A large rectangular black slab of metal with a diamond shape in the middle. Four red lines cross behind the diamond perpendicular to each other. The shield is almost as big as him.
"Ah, Sanguine Obstruction." Andre said. He reached for the shield and moved the rubble aside to pick up the shield.
I checked its stats of the shield.
[Cursed: If the host is not a Blood Viscount, all skills of the host will be sealed. Also, it will weigh 5 times of the host's weight.]
"Now the next weapon." Andre said. He raised his mace again and began his assault.
*CRASH!* *KRRRRSHSH!!* *CRUMBLE!!!*
He removes the rubble and lifts out a weapon that is more than a mallet than a hammer. Actually, it's much shorter than a War Hammer. Black wooden shaft with three glowing red rings, one at the bottom, one at the middle, and one close to the hammer head.
[Cursed: If a host that is not a Vampire, not a Blood Blood Earl, or does not wield at least one Sanguine Weapon, the weapon will destroy the host's body.]
For Weapon Shift, it allows a weapon to switch to another type of weapon on the fly.
"This will do just nicely." Andre said, admiring the hammer in his hands. He flips the hammer in his left hand and used two hands. "Weapon Shift: Great Hammer."
*Fween!*
With his command, the three rings of the Sanguine Destruction glowed and the weapon began to extend itself. The red rings stretch and the hammer head began to enlarge to a size befitting for said weapon.
"Good, this should do better than Persecution." Andre said. He twists his body and lifts his hammer and swung downwards on the third chest.
*BRA-KOOOM!!*
The Sanguine Destruction instantly destroyed the barrier, along with the chest, lock, and talisman in one single blow.
He pushes the rubble aside to finally find the lance. A black lance with crimson red accents spiraling around it and the spiked hand guard.
I check the stats of this lance.
[Cursed: If host is not a Blood Count or a Vampire, this weapon will drain all its blood and turn it into a walking corpse with its mind still intact.]
Andre still kept Sanguine Destruction out for the last stone chest. He twists his body to give another swing down to that last chest.
*BRA-KOOM!!*
As expected, he destroys the stone chest in one blow, scattering the pieces. He pushes the rubble aside to find the rapier.
The rapier is completely black except the crimson crystal of the pommel and a thin red line in the center. The basket of the rapier resemble bat wings. I check the stats of the rapier.
[Cursed: If a host did not kill at least 100 humans by its own hand, their own blood will become spikes shooting through their body.]
"And that makes seven." Andre said, twirling his newfound rapier.
*Fwip!* *Fwip!* *Fwip!* *Fwip!*
Andre swings his rapier and then make rapid thrusts to get a feel for his weapon. His strikes makes the sword whistle in the air from his swift strikes.
"Very nice. This is also one of my favorites going one-on-one." Andre smiles.
"With that, we're done here." I declared.
"So, what are you gonna do with the two?" Andre asked. "You can't change their memories since this room can ward off Mental Magic."
"They didn't get a glimpse of my face." I said. "Let's clear out before they wake up."
*BREEEP!!* *BREEEP!!*
[A hero has been detected!]
"Ugh...another hero?" I sighed.
"We already have dealt some heroes and I don't want to get caught out here in the sun, so let's clear out. Let's not forget that we fought against someone who is close to being a Deity." Andre said.
*Voom!*
I opened the portal for Andre and he walked inside. I closed the portal behind him and I focused on getting out of here.
*Voom!*
I teleported out of the hidden room to the places I put portals at. Since I have been there before, teleporting there was no problem.
*Voom!*
I teleport myself away from the Felexin territory and bring Ashley and Andre out.
"I see you both made it out in one piece." Ashley said. "What's the nearest Sanguine Weapon, now?"
Andre closes his eyes to find the nearest Sanguine Weapon. A faint gold light appeared in the night sky. Ashley was the first to notice.
"Guys, look at the sky." Ashley said, nudging us. We looked up and saw the faint golden light in the sky.
"The hell is that?" Andre said.
I scanned for that faint light, but then the light becomes brighter and larger by the second.
"Shit, is it one of those magics!? Get me the coffin!" Andre yelled.
Before I get him the coffin, the light exploded.
*PING!!*
A flash of light briefly illuminated the sky and many streaks of light were scattered around at high speeds, like fireworks detonating in the air.
Some say it's a sign of celebration, while others assume it otherwise. We are the latter.
