sweet nightmare- part3

'WHAT!? There's a condition!?' "…" "It's time to fulfill the purpose of buying you" his tone sounding more serious, Zoe could feel her heart racing in her chest as she grasped the sheets of the bed without knowing. She was so busy thinking about the grilled chicken wings, that she didn't realize when she got too close to the vampire 'when did I get this close? CURSE you chicken!' Zoe knew that the reason for vampires buying slaves were only to use them as blood bags or to satisfy their sexual desires and suck them dry of their blood.

Zoe kept quiet not knowing what to say in the situation she found herself in. Eliot placed the fork back on the platter and turned his attention back to Zoe, "you don't talk much, do you." Narrowing his eyes at Zoe before he said, "Williams get me a knife", 'what is he going to do with a knife? I have to say something, this might be my punishment…', "what are going to do with a knife" zoe said, her heart filled with the fear of getting crucially punished, "what else… to cut open my chicken of course…, or to cut you" he said with a cunning smile causing fear to rise in Zoe's mind "master I hope I haven't (clearing of throat) angered you in any way" Zoe said trying to reduce the risk of getting punished, but he kept quiet still maintaining his cunning smile.

Williams was gone for an amount of time, but soon returned back with a knife in his hands, giving it to Eliot, he walked towards the door of the room, "don't worry about staying Williams, you can leave", "yes my lord" Williams took a small bow before walking out of Eliot's room.

Eliot faced his full attention towards Zoe, smiling deviously, "look here, Zoe were going to play a little game of mine. I'm going to ask you a very simple questions and you're to answer honestly do you understand" 'huh...? ' "Y-yes Master Eliot…, but what if I don't know the answers to those questions or I refuse to answer them, then what?"

"… There's a punishment, for the failure to answer each questions"

*GULP*

Zoe swallowed hard at what he said, as she waited for him to finish talking. She couldn't believe that the vampire who had bought her was eating in front of her while letting her starve without offering a single bite from the table.

She swallowed at the sight of food, trying to hold back the hunger that was churning in her stomach. She had thought the man who bought her was a good man, but she should have known better. Zoe looked away from the food as well as the man to stare at the wall which had a painting of a tree in it. It was a simple image yet there was something very disturbing about it, with the way it was painted.

Looking away from it, she stared at the ground to pass time until the vampire was done eating.

And over the course of his meal, not once had he offered her the food which he ate. It was understandable at some level of the system that they lived in. She was a slave beneath his status, even an elite didn't have a meal with a regular man or a woman.

Taking a serviette from the table he dabbed his mouth elegantly to get the little pieces of food out of his lips. Turning towards Zoe, he watched her, as she pinned her eyes to the ground.

Eliot observed every little movement she made, as she was getting tired doing nothing but staring at the cold hard ground, 'maybe I still have a chance, if he leaves now there is still a chance that I can eat'.

Zoe feeling Eliot's gaze on her, raised her head to face him, thinking that it was time to eat but instead, got a question thrown at her, "Who are you?", Eliot said 'What?' Zoe thought to herself shocked by the sudden question, "…Don't lie to me the first time I saw you I felt the cerulean crystal, everyone in the dark empire felt the aurar, including the cerulean guardians did", 'again, WHAT! Who are the cerulean guardians and what does this has to do with me, I think he has the wrong person', "I-i don't know what you're talking about, it seems you have the wrong person"

Eliot narrowed his eye's at her, monitoring her movements, trying to differentiate between her emotions of lie and confusion, "forget it", "what!", "forget I ever asked you that question", 'deranged mad man!, nuts fell lose when your mother gave birth to you H.O.U.N.D! He bought me just to ask questions about the cerulean guardians!? That couldn't be the reason, but it's the only explanation I have (sigh) why lord, you had to put me in this situation to die by the hands of a mad man'

"Yes Master Eliot", Zoe said with a croaked glare that had formed on her face.

Standing up Eliot walked towards the bath room door opening it, as he entered closing the door behind him, Zoe sat there, desperate to hear the sounds of water…, after moments of waiting she finally heard the tap go on with the sounds of rushing water, 'he's gone… he's finally gone, leaving all this to me…, without knowing ha-ha! victory is mine!' there was some dishes that looked untouched and some were half eaten, Zoe took the fork hastily not minding the kind of cutlery she picked, using it she pinned it to the chicken rubbing it on the salad sauce before putting it into her mouth, 'Hmmm… food at last, so tasty.. So delicious, its magnificent, superb, unjustifiably outstanding'

~ ~ ~

Eliot unexpectedly stayed too long in the bathroom, enough time for Zoe to stuff herself with food as she finished every single dish on the table.

"Garr…I'm... So full can't move"…, 'I think there is still desert!… must… have… everything' Zoe who was sitting up fell flat on the soft cushioned bed, looking straight into the ceiling, feeling her stomach which now seemed to have grown enormous. "Garr…" Zoe's eyelids grew heavier by the seconds that passed as she closed her eyes drowsily…, 'No! Zoe… what are you thinking falling asleep on your masters bed? Just get a hold of yourse-… soooo soft, smooth, leniently arranged, comfort hmmm… I think I'll just rest for a little while ~ ~ ~'

Zoe's eyes immediately, shoot open when she heard a scream…, the scream of a girl, and it sounded like it was not too far from where she stood, Zoe looked around her eyes scanning the room, but strangely everywhere was dark "hello…, is anyone there".

Zoe called out but no one responded, "Where is everyone". Hearing nothing but crackling wood's burning on fire, Zoe reached in front of her, touching a flat bumpy surface, pushing it with little force, to feel it move.

The wooden door slowly opened. Zoe stood frozen with what she saw in front of her, everywhere was in flames and Zoe could see burning ashes flying in the air, the room looked exactly like Zoe's old cabin, where she had lived with her mother.

Tracing her eyes across the room she spotted a little girl with tears in her eyes trying to shield herself from the raging fire that threatened to burn her, the little girl bent her kneels close to her chest as she cried for help, 'what's going on here.., what am I doing in this place?'

Unwillingly Zoe's eyes traced the room and stopped when she caught sight of a black cat that that had light blue eyes, the cats wore a pure gold head dress and a golden neck jewel. The jewel started from under its jaws till it was on its shoulders. The cat stared at her creepily which made shiver's run down her spine, it had this hidden authority she couldn't define. Zoe was about to speak when her attention was grabbed by the screaming little girl.

"Help please, somebody help me!" the little girl cried out. Zoe tried to run and bring aid to the little girl, but she couldn't move, 'what's going on!? I can't move', seeing that she couldn't move or run Zoe tried calling out to the little girl but her voice faded away.

Zoe watched the little girl scream for help but no one came to her aid, 'how can I help this little girl… I want to help her get out of the fire but I can't... will the little girl be burnt?' it seemed like there was no hope for the little girl.

Zoe's vision became blur as everything vanished before her eye's, slowly another scene came to view in front of her, a cabin, but it wasn't on fire nor was there a screaming little girl, it seemed ordinary "how could you, what have you done to our child!" Zoe's head turned towards the voice, a woman shouted standing in a protective way, pulling a little girl to her back, as she obstructed a man from touching the little girl. The woman had her black hair tied in a bun while she wore a brown gown that had patches on them, due to the holes on the garment.

"I did what was right and besides it was for the good of the whole world", the man said in anger causing tears to fall from the little girl's eyes. Zoe turned her attention to the little girl taking in every single details of her clothes and face 'it's the same girl I saw in the fire'. The little girl had a little bit of smudged mud on her face, her blue crystal eye that was filled with tears, her hair was black, made in a ponytail, on either sides of head.

She had a shabby green dress and it had little smears of mud on the surface the little girl held a stuffed bear in her hand, but it looked torn up.

Tugging on her mother's dress, the little girl started to sob, "Mommy you promised, you promised you and daddy wouldn't fight anymore", the woman looked furious like someone who was filled with rage and complete anger.

*SMACK*

The slap echoed in the whole room, the little girl stood in shock, she couldn't believe that her mother would actually slap her, and for the first time in her life she felt miserable "go to your room.., don't you know when to speak and when not to?"

The woman shouted at the top of her voice making the little girl run toward a wooden door, opening it as she ran to a corner shutting the door closed and then she started to cry, her eyes watery and red due to the water that escaped her eyes. The tears fell from her eyes and slid down all the way to her chin 'what did I do wrong!?'

She stopped crying when she heard screams coming from the room she had left, cleaning her eyes with back of her hands, the little girl quickly stood up from where she sat and opened the door to check what had happened to make her mother scream so loudly.

Her eyes widened at the sight of the scene "DADDY!" the girl screamed seeing her father on the ground with a bullet through his head. Her mother held her chest, tears in her eyes, 'this is too terrifying to watch' Zoe thought as she closed her eyes tight, but terrifyingly she could see through her closed eyes. "Mommy... what's wrong with daddy" the little girl screamed out but her mother was too shocked to move.

Walking to where the girl stood the woman grabbed her tightly by the arm making the girl to wince in pain, "run! RUN Zoe don't let her get you", the woman said her voice sounding shaky and afraid, "mommy who is that lady, she killed daddy".

"Don't say anything just run!" There was a woman that stood at the entrance of the cabin, the woman's skin pale, her hair was wavy and dark, and her eyes red, filled with nothing but the craving for blood.

Her eye's looked emotionless and malevolent, her lips were bloodshot red, like as if it was painted with real blood, wearing black leather gloves that was the length of her wrist. All dressed in black with thick knee-boots, 'who is that?' Zoe thought to herself. The woman didn't look like she had any room for mercy, she had bullets and weapons wrapped all over her body, and a spare dagger tied to her arm, as she held a pistol in her left hand.
