After the discovery of a new, more efficient, and powerful form of energy source, a great global war erupted between kingdoms that want to get a hold of it, resulting in millions of human casualties. To avoid further loss of life, kingdoms and nations from around the world established the "League of Warfare", a war with a game-like structure on which every country annually participates. Since then, the world is at peace, or so it seemed.
