Quest for the Truth

”I think you’re right about the vampire attack.”

Katrina said.

“What?”

”But the news said earlier said it’s not.”

Moira said. She noticed the girls clumping in one place and curious what they’re up to. They showed her the article that they have been looking at for the past hour.

“What’s that?”

Moira asked. She didn’t wait for an answer and proceeds on reading the article. Her focus was all on the article, not minding her house mates around her gossiping.

“What do we do now?”

Moira turned his face towards the others.

“I think we need to find the person that Moira was talking about earlier."

Joanne suggested.

“How? I can’t remember how that person looked like because I didn’t see h-“

Moira stopped halfway, earning weird stares from everyone around her.

“What’s wrong?”

Sharron asked.

”I remembered the face of the girl that the guy is talking too.”

Moira said.

“That’s great!”

Savannah cheered. The atmosphere became lighter than earlier, now that they have the chance to actually know the truth behind the incident.

“Do you know any magic that can illustrate a face based on a memory?”

Moira asked.

“Does that even exist?”

Savannah asked. She turned to see Sharron and Joanne searching for the spell on their spell book. Both of the witches’ books are floating on the ground that is covered with their respective elements. Sharron’s book has a light blue color surrounding it while Joanne has her book glowing in dark red.

“That magic really exists?”

Savannah asked Katrina who’s sitting near the countertop. Katrina was watching the two searching it before even Moira asked the two.

”I think it’s an illustration magic.”

She answered. Moira joined them watching the other two who are doing their best to find the illustration magic, so they can illustrate the woman’s face.

“Found it!”

Both of them shouted. The other three went to join the other two and to proceed with the illustration magic.

“Sharron, I don’t think the fire element would be ideal to be use in this kind of magic.”

Joanne said.

“I don’t think the water element can make the out if it either.”

Sharron said.

“Neither the element wind nor the animal magic is ideal when doing this too.”

Joanne said. They all looked at Katrina after what Joanne said, her element was not mentioned which means that it is ideal for the said magic.

“What are you guys looking at me like that?”

Katrina asked. It took her a minute to realize why they were looking at her like that.

”No, I can’t do that.”

”I’m don’t want to disappoint you guys.”

She said. Joanne understands why Katrina doesn’t want to do it. The illustration magic requires focus and control because it may cost the memory of the person you’re performing the magic with.

“It’s fine, we believe in you.”

Joanne said. Katrina was surprised from what she said, it was her first time hearing it from someone other than her family.

“Yes Katrina, we believe in your potential.”

Sharron added. She handed her spell book to Katrina to show her the magic that she’s going to perform. Everyone gave a reassuring smile to her, so she won’t be worried. She sighed deeply and closed her eyes preparing herself to cast the magic that she had been practicing ever since she’s young.
