Chapter 21 a Misfits

Six nights passed with Iggy being on bedrest. He tried his hardest to lie still to avoid striking Firmin’s attention, because whenever Firmin noticed that he was awake, he came into the bedroom and sat along the side of the bed, and pressured Iggy to drink vital fluid that was laced with enough sedatives to combat the withdrawal symptoms. But Iggy had such little desire to comply. He still felt terrible, but little by little, the amount of medication dwindled while the vital fluid increased.
