20: Shaken

Donna drove Greg and Craig to the airport. She received a kiss from the latter on the cheek and wished him well. She turned to Greg.

“Take your vitamins,” he told her, “and no alcohol.”

“Yes, Daddy,” she teased.

“And don’t you forget that,” he murmured. “Now give us a kiss.”

His lips brushed hers and he stopped, saying against her lips, “This has to sustain me for sixty hours or so.”

“Don’t you know any sexy Californians?”

“Not yet,” he chuckled. And their lips met again, his hands drifting to her bottom.

When they separated, Craig was grinning from ear to ear. Donna winked at him and patted her hair.

“I do believe that was sufficient nourishment for a Monday!”

She waved goodbye and then left.

Craig followed Donna with his eyes as far as he could, then turned around and stared at his friend. “Is there something you’re not telling me?”

“About what?” Greg had a smile on his face.

“Yes ‘Daddy’?” Craig prompted.

“Oh yeah, about that...”
