Young Master Zhen

Ling Tian hopped up on his flying sword and soared through the sky on his way to Golden Dragon City.

He could see Golden Dragon City up ahead after 6 hours of travel and the city was indeed majestic. The buildings were ginormous and luxurious. You could tell that it was a big city with strong cultivators.

He stepped off his flying sword a few miles away as it was illegal and disrespectful to enter the city flying. You would be handed a fine or even arrested if caught.

The only way to bypass this is to at least be an Earth Immortal cultivator or have a high enough status and influence.

An example of this is Young Master Zhen as he was the young master of the Zhen Clan. The Zhen Clan's patriarch was a Heaven Immortal realm cultivator.

Ling Tian walked over to the back of one of the very long lines of people trying to enter the city. They had high-ranking formations all over the city and some functioned as defense, attacking, miscellaneous, and detection formations for checking individuals if they had dangerous items.

It was finally Ling Tian's turn and he was met with a guard.

"You have to pay 2 mid-rank spirit stones which allows you only 3 days in the city. If you wish to stay longer, you can head to the Golden Dragon City's Administration Office and pay more spirit stones. If you wish to be a resident, you have to pay 100 mid-rank spirit stones and have a foothold in the city like a house or business." The False Immortal realm guard explained.

Ling Tian handed over 2 mid-rank spirit stones after he was asked a few more questions and entered the city without a hitch.

Inside, he was immediately hit with the bustling sound of people and peddlers. Before entering the city, he was given a basic tablet that listed the information one would need to know about Golden Dragon City.

There were many different sectors and locations for things like a variety of businesses. There were marketplaces, alchemy stores, blacksmiths, formation stores, restaurants, and more.

The meetup location listed in the Immortal Sword Sect tablet was at one of the Zhen Clan's businesses, the Pill King Store, a highly reputed company.

Ling Tian entered the luxurious store and was met with a young female attendant with a work uniform on.

"Young Master, what is your business here?" The young female attendant asked politely while bowing.

"I'm here for Young Master Zhen's requested mission for the Immortal Sword Sect." Ling Tian replied and showed his tablet.

"Oh yes! Head to the left hallway and head upstairs to the 3rd floor, Young Master Zhen will be waiting for you."

Ling Tian said his thanks and headed up to the 3rd floor and was greeted by Young Master Zhen and the looks of the many bodyguards like him that took the mission.

The many bodyguards that were hired by Young Master Zhen seemed to be from many different sects.

'I can sense a plot brewing up here. I would like to see what would happen by myself and not find out what it is right away...' Ling Tian squinted his eyes at the variety of individuals.

"Greetings, everyone! My name is Zhen Hai, the young master of the Zhen Clan. As you all know from your respective sects' tablets provided, you are all to be bodyguards of me while I gain experience on the outskirts of the Demonic Beast Forest. You just need to help me out if I get in lethal danger and fend off stronger demonic beasts that happen to come by. Is everyone ready?" Young Master Zhen politely introduced himself and the mission.

Everyone gave some respectful cheers as they didn't want to offend a powerhouse randomly. They all left the Pill King Store and headed down the wide roads on their way outside of the Golden Dragon City.

On the wide roads, Young Master Zhen saw two beautiful young women and was immediately entranced as they were simply too pretty for his young, hot-blooded self.

The first girl was an extraordinarily beautiful woman with a graceful, petite figure and beautiful lush black hair. The second girl was on the more wild side as she had a busty, hourglass-like figure and was tall with red hair.

"Beautiful fairies! May I, Zhen Hai, know of your graceful names?" Young Master Zhen introduced himself with flair.

"No." The second girl immediately denied his approach.

Young Master Zhen was shocked at how fast the second girl said no but regained his composure.

"That's fine, we can get to know each other step by step." Young Master Zhen did not give up and continued his effort to get to know them.

"No means no, we encounter so many young masters like you and we're sick of it. Also, we're part of the Divine Fairy Sect." The second girl smugly denied his approach again.

"The Divine Fairy Sect...?" Young Master Zhen backed off a little.

The Divine Fairy Sect is a sect that only accepted girls. They practiced either a Yin or Ice element technique.

The sect was full of beautiful young ladies that all the young men wanted. The Divine Fairy Sect itself was almost on par with the top-grade sects. They had a Heaven Immortal and many strong individuals among them.

The reason the sect was almost on par with the top-grade sects was that some disciples were in a relationship with the strong male disciples of other sects and organizations.

If anyone decided to attack the Divine Fairy Sect, the sects that were in a relationship with the Divine Fairy Sect would annihilate them.

Young Master Zhen's acquaintances and friends had a relationship with a Divine Fairy Sect disciple and wanted to have one too so that's why he approached these two girls.

Young Master Zhen's emotions got the best of him either way because, after that moment of hesitation, he grabbed the first girl's wrist and pulled her towards him.

She was caught off guard and was terrified, the second girl wasn't expecting it either because she thought he would back off after hearing their background.

"Hands off her!" The second girl pulled out her sword and tried to injure his arm but was stopped by Ling Tian.

"You may not harm Young Master Zhen." Ling Tian said with an emotionless face.

"Good job, Ling Tian!" Young Master thanked Ling Tian.

Young Master Zhen was about to try and forcefully kiss the girl when an elderly-looking woman with a cane released her aura and oppressed him.

However, an elder from the Zhen Clan appeared and suppressed the elderly woman in the blink of an eye. It appeared he was protecting Young Master Zhen from the shadows the entire time.

"What is the meaning of this, Zhen Clan?" The elderly woman questioned.

"What do you mean? Your disciples were so rude to ignore the young master!" The elder from the Zhen Clan replied with a sarcastic remark.

"Do you not realize the consequences of going against us?" The elderly woman gritted her teeth.

"Do you really think that your Divine Fairy Sect is everything? Our Zhen Clan is the main supplier of pills. Who do you think is truly more important? Woman? Or pills to increase cultivation and strength?" The elder from the Zhen Clan spat.

The elder from the Zhen Clan was right. Strength was the most important factor, if you did not have strength, you could not do anything of worth and could not even obtain a woman.

They were at a stalemate until the Golden Dragon City's guards reacted to the commotion and went to stop it.
