Chapter 58

Eric was at work and she can't bring their little angel along unless she wants to spend more than she had prepared her wallet for. 

"Oh, Meg," she almost flew towards me "I know you are pregnant and all but I just really needed help" she said apologetically.

I shook my head.

"It's nothing. I can handle Martha" I assured her.

She gave me a quick hug then planted a kiss on Martha's forehead.

"I'll be back as soon as possible," she said to me then turned to her daughter "don't be a big trouble for your auntie Meg"

Martha nodded obediently.

"I want to watch barbie" she said tagging me towards their living room.

"Gotta go" Diana said. I waved a goodbye to her then she was gone.

"Okay" I let Martha guide me then I went directly for the stacks of CD's and picked her favorite barbie movie.

I placed it on the player and sat beside her on their couch.
