Targets

Belia ran after Sheva and easily passed her, her speed caused a small storm as gravel flew around her. A group of Rattataki soldiers charged from the audience stand, jumping down to block her path.

Belia didn't stop, she lept in the air to meet them, her blade was held in a reverse grip as she turned to the side. Her body started spinning and she came forward like a cyclone. Her blade cut through with no resistance, when her foot touched the ground she was already cutting through her next target.

She jumped around like a rabbit, her body and blade spun in a beautiful hum of death. Her path forward was unimpeded, she jumped into the stands and ran towards the tunnel. Khan gave her a task and she wouldn't waste time here.

Sheva followed behind Belia in shock, the path of death she created was like nothing she'd seen before. In what looked like a moment, she cut down over twenty men. Her blade was so fast all she could see was a light flicker past a person's neck.

While everyone was distracted by Belia, she drove her dagger between the joints of their armor. While it may not have killed them, it was all she could do. Her main goal was to not be left behind.

Belia ran through the audience, her blade spinning around and bodies continued to fall. When she neared the tunnel, the guards with blasters finally emerged.

They opened fire the moment they saw her running up, her free hand cocked back while she deflected every blow. While she's proficient in form four, her main focus had always been form three. If she was going to protect Khan, she needed to become an impenetrable wall nothing could breakthrough.

She continued running forward unfazed by the blaster fire. She continued gathering the force in her hand. A sphere of air formed on her palm and she pushed forward.

Like a hurricane rushing forward, the ground was ripped apart and the area destroyed. The twisting winds and high pressure pushed forward and funneled into the tunnel.

The walls cracked from the compressed power and all the troopes were blown back. Unlike the Jedi who refused to use the force to attack in the future, she had no qualms.

Sheva's body shivered when she saw this. From deflecting a dense fire of blaster or the force that seemed like a storm, she never knew the force could do this. All she ever learned was how to enhance her physique. She started to believe their family's heritage was incomplete.

Belia ran into the tunnel. When she saw the Rattataki on the ground with their broken bones and screaming in pain, she swung her blade and put them out of their misery. She turned her head and ran to the left, she could feel that's where she needed to go.

More troops ran out to meet her, surrounding her from the front and the back. "I grow tired of these games."

Her hand reached up and looked as though she was struggling. Her body dodged and saber deflected fire but she would soon become overwhelmed.

Finally, the ceiling cracked and she pulled down her hand. Stones rained around her and the ceiling began collapsing. She ran through falling debris and began opening a path towards her goal.

Sheva bit her teeth and ran after Belia, dodging stay fire and falling stones took all of her concentration. All she could do was follow that flashing white light in front of her.

The hall started sloping upward and light shone from an opening. Belia cut down the last person in her way and ran through the opening. She arrived above the pit, on the scorched surface of the planet.

There, a small army of Rattataki were waiting for her. Standing at the forefront was the woman she saw overlooking them before.

Her eyes glanced at Sheva who ran up behind Belia before returning her sight to what she considered the true threat. "I think there may have been a misunderstand, perhaps?"

Her words flowed out elegantly. "I don't know what that." Her words paused for a moment. "Waste has promised you, but I guarantee I can give you more."

Her eyes never left the white blade in Belia's hand.

"Mother how could you say that!! Velancia didn't follow the traditions and you caste me out!!" Sheva screamed, her eyes stared venomously at her sister.

Velancia just smiled, her arm entangled with her brother's next to her.

"Tradition? That's just a story." She shook her head. "Do you know how I came to power? How I killed my sisters? I poisoned them to death. The only thing Velancia did wrong was not finishing you off." She looked at her daughter again.

"You were smart enough to escape, your poor sister stayed. Disillusioned that she could live out a peaceful life. We couldn't have her plotting against Valencia so she had to die."

Her mother's words were like bombs going off in her head. "Why tell us the story of our tradition?!? Why train us to be warriors?!?! What's the point!!"

Saliva flew from her mouth as she screamed in rage.

"The point? For times like this." She pulled out two curved lightsaber hilts and ignited the blades. The red blades spun in her hands before pointing at Belia.

"Are you ready to die, intruder?"

Belia's eyes scanned the soldiers and smiled. "Die? You picked the wrong place to do battle with me if you wanted to kill me."

Belia's free hand thrust forward with lightning swiftness. All the stones and pebbles on the rough surface of the planet shot forward like meteors in the night sky.

They left afterimages in the air before they crashed into the soldiers at incredible speeds. Some piercing into their bodies and the others breaking bones.

The soldiers fell before they could even take a shot, leaving the three members of the Ventress Clan standing.

"You shouldn't have led me to a place with so many weapons." Belia charged forward and jumped into the air. Her blade swung right at the woman's shoulder.

When she saw Belia coming she crossed her blades in front of her and blocked.

Her eyes widened as she felt like a mountain was pressing down against her. Her knees buckled and she stumbled backward.

Belia landed on the ground and cut at her waist. Their blades continued to collide but Belia pushed her back with ease.

She struggled to stop Belia's attacks with her twin sabers. Doing everything she could just to survive.

"Velancia!!" Sheva screamed and charged forward. She held her knife with both hands to impale her sister.

"Sister, I should have killed you when I had the chance. If I knew mother would react like that, you never would have survived!!" She pulled out a long sword and deflected her sister's blow.

Before Sheva could press her attack, her brother kicked her in the stomach. She staggered backward, the new pain agitated old wounds and amplified her injury.

"Good! I'll kill you both for what you did!" She ran forward, her eyes glowing yellow as she attacked her sister again. She couldn't fully commit to an attack as she had to ward off her brother as well.

Belia watched Sheva out of the corner of her eye. While this woman is a good warrior, she wasn't properly trained to use a lightsaber. At best she could swing them around like swords.

This is the result of having no one to teach or train with you.

She could have killed her at any time, but she wanted to take her in without damaging her body or lightsabers.

Sheva was already covered in wounds, blood dripped from her body and a long gash on her left arm prevented her from moving it properly.

While she got in a few attacks on her brother and sister, they were in far better shape.

"How did it feel when my sword pierced your stomach? Is this giving you flashbacks?" Velancia taunted when she saw her sister was on her last leg.

Hearing her sister's humiliation seemed to form a crack in her mind. All the hate and the pain she felt turned into a well of powering boiling inside her.

"Just like I killed Frica, I'm going to kill you too." Velancia stepped forward with a smile while her brother circled around.

Hearing her dead sister's name was the final straw. Her mind snapped and the pain flooded her body. Her dagger fell from her hand and her body hunched over. She grabbed the side of her head and screamed.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" An unwilling shriek filled with pain and resentment thundered around her. The sound waves amplified by the dark side rippled through the force and enveloped everything around her.

The ground cracked and shattered, small stones were reduced to dust.

Velancia and her brother paused. Their bodies shook uncontrollably and blood pooled from their orifices. They only held on for a moment before crashing to the ground.

Belia protected herself with the force, but the mother was affected slightly and became disorientated. Belia took the opening and pulled the sabers from her hand with the force.

Before she could regain her senses, Belia rushed forward and kicked her in the stomach. The power behind her boot raised her from the ground and her body bent into a bow.

When she fell to the ground Belia stood over her and punched her in the side of the head, knocking her unconscious.

She looked at Sheva who barely stood and sighed.

Sheva didn't know what happened, she struggled to pick up her dagger and walk to her sister. The hate in her eyes was still clearly visible.

"Did you forget what Khan said? He wants these people to do experiments, not for you to kill."

Sheva glared at Belia before turning back to her sister. Her body trembled and her grip over her knife tightened.

She clenched her teeth until she finally released her hand and the knife dropped to the ground.

"I hope your fate is worse than death." She spit out venomously before she collapsed to the ground.

Belia was relieved when she saw this. She didn't want to hurt Sheva, she quite liked that Rattataki.

Belia walked to the edge and watched the droids one-sided slaughter below. "They learn as they fight? How terrible could a droid army be?"

Soon, she seemed to see a droid army sweeping the galaxy. Leading them were generals shrouded in mist.
