Sith Lord

Khan jumped into the cavern under the arena and was amazed by what he saw. The stone walls were filled with sith runes like the ones he saw on Revan's Holocron. He pulled out a small drone that floated over his shoulder.

It began recording everything while he walked deeper down the spiraling chasm. Reaching the bottom it opened to a large stone chamber. The number of glyphs and runes were staggering, the walls looked like pages from an encyclopedia.

Looking closer, he could tell the individual sigils formed a larger pattern leading towards the center of the chamber.

There, a sarcophagus laid. Covered in what looked like a seal. He could feel the darkness that overflowed from the sarcophagus. It filled the entire chamber with the power of the dark side.

The more he looked, the more he could tell this was some form of large ritual, but he didn't know what it was used for. Seeing nothing else in the room, he walked towards the coffin while his drone continued to record.

"It seems this really is a Sith tomb." Khan placed his hand on the coffin, he fully planned to open it. If he's afraid of the tomb of some random Sith Lord, how dare he ever go to Korriban.

He pushed the lid to the side and looked at the contents of the sarcophagus. Instead of finding a dry skeleton as he expected, he saw a beautiful Rattataki woman with velvet lips. She had purple streaks under her eyes and the side of her head, unlike the usual black markings Rattataki had.

Just when Khan was surprised, she opened her yellow eyes. The force erupted around her and pushed Khan back.

She leaped from her tomb and ignited dual red lightsabers as she flipped in the air. She landed on the edge of her coffin and her eyes scanned the room. When she only saw a single droid, she looked at Khan. "Interesting, you don't seem to be from the Republic? Are you Sith? Who sent you here?"

Khan stretched out his hand, his lightsaber flew to his palm and ignited. "No one commands me, I came here on my own."

The woman's lips rose when she heard Khan's words. "Do you think I'm a fool? Was it Lord Zash?! She always tried to steal my research and find out what I was trying to do." Her body dropped and she got ready to attack.

"Lord Zash? Sorry, your old Sith Empire was destroyed."

She launched forward, leaping through the air with her dual blades striking from the left side. She didn't believe a word Khan had said.

Khan stepped forward, holding his blade with both hands to block her dual strike.

She leaned her entire body into the blow, but Khan's strength surprised her. Even with the weight of her body, she couldn't push him back.

Before he got a chance to breathe, her leg swung around and kicked his chest. While she couldn't cause damage through his armor, she pushed off his chest and flipped backward.

She spread her arms to the side before she Force Pushed herself forward. Her blades stabbed forward and she spun like an oncoming drill.

Khan was forced to jump to the side. When he thought he dodged her attack, her arms spread out like a bird taking flight and slashed backward.

He quickly lifted his blade and blocked her strike, but it was only a fleeting blow with no power. She finally touched the ground for the first time, but it only lasted for a moment.

She didn't even bother to turn around before jumping backward. Her body whirled into a blur as she spun, all he saw was a storm of red from her spinning blades.

Khan had to back peddle while blocking the blades from slashing into his body. When her speed finally slowed and he wanted to press the attack, she clashed with his blades one final time.

Using the strength of her attack she pushed herself into the air. She placed her blades in front of her and curled in her legs. She turned into a ball of death and shot down like a rocket.

Khan's face turned serious. This whole time he'd been led around by her form four combat style.

Instead of dodging, he stepped forward and stabbed his blade towards her.

She unfolded in the air and crossed her blades, blocking Khan's jab.

Before she could launch herself around, he pulled his blade back and lifted it high above his head; A typical move in his favorite form five.

"Die!!" Khan locked her in his sights and chopped down with full force. She crossed her blades to block and the force drove her to the ground.

Her body was pressed down by the force of his blow. Before she could jump away he sealed her routes with his body and chopped down again.

Her arms trembled as she blocked his strikes, all she could do was stride backward and deflect his blows but she soon reached a wall.

Khan chopped down again, thinking he had her, but she chose not to block. She ducked down and rolled forward, avoiding his blow.

Khan's blade cut through the wall setting off an explosion of sparks.

The woman stood back up with her back facing Khan and slashed backward at incredible speeds. The tip of her blade sliced through Khan's cloak and armor, burning through his flesh and bone.

"Ahhhh!!!" Khan screamed, his anger and pain fueled his power for the first time. He pulled his blade from the wall and swung it around with his full strength with just his right hand.

The woman jumped back, spreading her arms in the air to repeat her drill attack now that Khan was pressed against the wall.

Hatred flashed in Khan's eyes and his body acted on instinct. The only thing running through his mind was to inflict as much pain as he could to this woman.

In the middle of his wild swing, his right arm stretched forward like a snake.

She watched in surprise as the lightsaber passed right in front of her chest, almost hitting her. Just when she thought she lucked out, a searing pain came from her left arm.

His blade sliced right through her left forearm, causing the arm and her blade to fall to the ground.

"Noooo!" The woman screamed. She tried to fight through the pain and cut off Khan's arm in return, but her senses were slow from the pain. His arm had snapped back by the time she swung her blade.

From the moment she rolled on the ground to getting her arm cut off, only three seconds had passed. Everything happened so fast, their senses clouded by the feeling of impending victory and their precognition failed them in their arrogance.

When she touched the ground she didn't have time to wallow in pain, Khan rushed forward and they locked blades.

Their blades nothing but red blurs as they moved. Their speed reached a point where they couldn't even use their eyes to track the other but had to feel everything through the force. Their mutual pain and rage heightened their combat ability above normal.

The chamber was illuminated in a red glow as their two figures danced across the stone ground. They stared at each other as their blades spun around them. Finally, Khan's left hand grabbed the hilt of his blade; His injury seemingly vanished.

It took him a while, but he eventually replaced the damaged portion on his shoulder. What looked like bones was just his flesh transformed to mimic and feel like bone.

A Shi'ido's true bones are extremely thin and dense; Hidden behind pockets of secret flesh in their body.

With both hands, she could no longer defend Khan. Every blow sent her staggering backward and forced her off balance.

His blade swung up at an angle and completely knocked her right arm ajar.

Before she could try and regain her form, Khan turned around and sliced backward with his blade. The same move she used to maim him earlier, and severed her right hand.

"Ahhhhh!!!" She screamed in pain and stumbled backward. She backed up as fast as she could and stared at Khan. Her face was full of fear as she looked at the Sith in full body armor.

Khan pointed the tip of his blade at her and smiled. "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for? My death?!" The woman scowled.

"No, for the fight." Khan shook his head. "You're the first force-sensitive I've fought with my life on the line. Now I know how strong I am. Let me introduce myself, I am Lord Khan."

"The first?!" The woman couldn't help but frown when she heard that. No Apprentice can become a Sith Lord without cutting down scores of other force sensitives.

"I still don't know your name." Khan dropped his saber towards the ground.

"You don't even know who I am?" Her face became ugly to look at. Pain coursed through her arms and now she heard her opponent doesn't even know who she is. How did he even find her here?!?

"I'm Lord Vala Ventress, didn't you come here to stop my plan?!?" She looked at Khan to prevent him from sneak attacking her.

"Your plan?" Khan looked around the room and paused. "I think something went wrong with your plan, you've been down here for over fifteen hundred years."

Vala's body shook when she heard this, her eyes dazed when she tried to repeat the number. "Fifteen hun-"

Before she could finish speaking, purple lightning struck across the room and zapped her.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" A blood-curdling scream filled the chamber and she dropped to her knees.

Khan continued shocking her, watching her twitch on the ground. "Fool, distracted by a few words."

He was wondering how he'd put her down without damaging her valuable body further.

He finally stopped when he saw her eyes roll back. He clipped his saber to his waist as well as hers. He grabbed her by the neck and dragged her towards the exit of the tunnel.

He paused suddenly and stretched his hand back. Her severed arms flew to his hand. He studied them carefully and saw that her flesh wasn't dead yet and the midi-chlorian hadn't left. This gave him a new idea but he'd have to wait till later.

Just when he was about to walk up the spiral, he heard a scream through the force. "Force Scream?"

He dragged Vala up the spiral to see what had happened in his absence. When he reached the hole that led above, the drone had caught up.

He crouched down and gathered the force around him. After a few seconds, he jumped straight out the hole and landed above.

He saw that the massacre was still ongoing. The audience had been killed but people kept pouring in from the surrounding pits. His head turned and saw Belia looking at everything from above.

He walked to the ship and threw Vala inside. His free hand stretched out and pulled the remaining lifeforce from some nearby bodies. Instead of absorbing it all to treat the damaged flesh in his body, he pushed some of it to the severed arms as well.

While he was focused on not destroying the arms, Belia came down with four bodies floating behind her. "I see you grabbed two lightsabers as well."

Her eyes turned to Vala in the ship. "Who's that?"

"Ancient Sith Lord who probably messed up her ritual. She didn't even know how long she slept." Khan threw her arms inside and glanced at the bodies Belia carried.

"I think we have everything we need, let's get off this dusty rock." Khan looked around before walking inside the ship.

Belia sighed, she carried the bodies inside and began restraining them with electrical cuffs and collars. The devices were magnetic and locked them to the walls of the ship in the shape of a cross.

"I always wondered why he made these things." She put Sheva on the ground and went to the cockpit.

Inside she saw Khan recalling the droids. She saw the damaged part of Khan's armor and frowned. She didn't say anything because she finally realized this wasn't a game. They could die at any time and worrying about a small injury was meaningless.

The droids started pulling back and the heavy assault droid provided cover fire.

"They're all on board." Belia signaled Khan who pushed the controls down.

The ship took off while a few Rattataki continued firing at the ship.

The ship continued to climb until it flew into outer space.

"That was eventful, are all inhabited planets this exciting?" Belia looked at the brown planet below and couldn't believe it had only been a day.

"Full of warring clans and hiding ancient Sith Lords?" Khan paused and turned to Belia. "Probably."

The ship flew towards one of the gas giants. The ship's systems indicated the Prometheus was there.

It didn't take long for them to find the ship. When they flew into the hanger a series of white personal droids and Habitat was waiting for them.

When the door to the ship dropped, the droids started moving. They took the prisoners and Sheva towards the lab on the third floor.

Khan and Belia walked out next to each other and saw Habitat. "You two really caused a ruckus. If you plan to be so violent and extinguish the local population, just use orbital bombardment next time."

"And miss such rare material." Khan looked at his trophies being carried away with a smile. "Plus I'm sure you collected a lot of combat data versus all those ground units and lightsaber combat."

"Their weapons were too primitive, the data is almost useless." She shook her head. "But it was good operational practice for you both, might I suggest a more stealthy approach next time?"

She glanced between Khan and Belia. "You are both Shi'ido, you could have investigated first and easily infiltrated their clans."

"Can it be done like that?" Belia's eyes widened and she turned towards Khan.

"Of course, but I knew this planet was weak and we needed real combat training." Khan waved his hand and brushed it off.

Before they could ask more questions he walked away, handing a droid Vala's lightsabers as he did.
