Chapter 4

There was a full moon tonight. The moon was shining so brightly as if helping Arabella to find her way in the darkness. It was the last moon she will see.

Arabella gazed at the bright moon through the cell's small window. She never had a chance to observe the beautiful things around her and never paid any attention to what she regarded as meaningless and unworthy of her time.

A heavy sigh left her mouth as she reflected on her past. The thoughts of the past made her realize how much of a fool she was.

She used to obsess over what never belonged to her and what never will belong to her. Arabella thought she had lost her everything, but in truth, to begin with, they never belonged to her.

A thousand times, she begged those people to look at her, but there was never anybody there to wipe away her tears. Arabella just cried alone in the dark, begging for love, which never came.

Gazing at the white moon, she prayed for the last time.

'...God bless me, for I will sin.'

***

The dark prison cell was getting colder and colder by all passing minutes, letting Arabella know that it's soon midnight. Chilly prison air was whispering in her ear that it's so soon the moment she had been waiting for. The moment she will commit her first real crime, the moment she will become a true sinner. Arabella will no longer be the victim who couldn't be brought to justice and become someone who would truly deserve to be kept in this dark hole.

Arabella was lying on her bed with her eyes wide open. No fear or hesitation could be sensed from her pink eyes. She had never felt this fearless and determined in her whole life. She got nothing to lose, and even her own life seemed worthless to her now.

The hallway door creaked as it opened, and heavy footsteps echoed all over the place, telling Arabella that the guard from earlier came to see her.

The guard appeared in front of the iron bar and looked at Arabella, sitting on the bed. When Arabella saw him, she gave him a bright smile as if she saw her life savior. The man was dazzled by her bright smile and almost stopped breathing.

''I thought you wouldn't show up. I was waiting for you.''

Somehow the man felt so pleased after hearing that Arabella was waiting for him this whole time. He felt as if he was her knight in shining armor who came for her rescue. But little did he know that he was a small rabbit trapped under the wings of this magnificent bird of prey?

''I never get back on my words. I told you I would come.''

Arabella looked so joyful that he was here.

''Why don't you come in here and we continue our talk. Staying outside those bars will get you nowhere.''

The man opened the door right away and got in the cell. Arabella got up from the bed and walked towards him. She stood right in front of him and looked him in the eye. Seeing the desire in his eyes, a smile stretched across her lips as she let out a charming laugh. She slowly caressed his chest, and then she lowered her eyes and whispered softly.

"I'm so glad that you're here with me. It's been so long since someone paid any attention to me. Thank you"

Arabella had used her evil power of seduction to draw him under her spell. The man's lips approached her own, and his hands began to lower slowly to her back as he began to hold her slim waist tightly.

Arabella slowly led him to the bed and sat on his lap as she faced him. She needed to arouse this man completely to distract him in order to carry out her plan successfully.

Arabella did her best to hide her irritation before the man in front of her noticed her eyes filled with killing intent. His lustful eyes blinked right in front of her. She licked her lip as if she was thirsty before kissing him as if she was fascinated by him too.

''Sir...I want you right now.'' Arabella whispered between kisses.

A small groan escaped from the man's lips as she wound her arms around his neck.

Arabella's hands slipped down to his chest and started unbuttoning his jacket and shirt, then she took them off and tossed them away to the floor.

"Haa…Princess...You're so beautiful.''

Arabella reached out her hand without separating from his lips. Its destination was near his waist. She snatched his dagger from his waistband. Guard's eyes trembled convulsively under her unexpected gesture, and Arabella smiled softly and held the sharp blade up to his throat.

"I'm so sorry. I'll beg for forgiveness in hell after I took my revenge.''

The man began to gasp for breath, knowing that It would have taken only one light slice to end his life, and tears poured out of his eyes filled with terror. At this moment, he realized that she was the demoness who came to take his life.

But it was too late to regret now. Arabella didn't hesitate as she thrust the knife into the neck of the guard. The man didn't even get any chance to say anything and slowly collapsed to the bed. A stream of fresh red blood was flowing down the covers of the bed.

Arabella stared one last time at the man that she killed and closed his lifeless eyes with her blood-covered hand. She stood up and took off her blood-painted prison clothes. Before leaving, she picked up the guard's still warm shirt and jacket from the floor and put them on.

She walked out of the cell on bare feet and immediately headed to the hallway door to find her next victim.
