Lilian Mo would definitely not forget the faces of the people that had caused many people's lives to be ruined.
'Women aren't toys and men aren't tools. This simple logic is something that most people don't understand.' She thought.
'But this is the apocalypse. In a place where morals are skewed, the true nature of humans would show. Time doesn't matter. Even though it's only been three months, I've already seen people fall to depravity. Afterall, I'm no different since I've killed and made that vile woman suffer.'
Lilian Mo heaved a sigh and closed her eyes, intending to take a short nap. She had woken up a bit early than usual because she needed to cook more food for more people.
She was also very busy in her space, washing clothes and tending to her farm and animals.
There was a massive amount of resources in her space but that didn't mean that she would be wasteful. Lilian Mo provided new clothes for her team and she had taken their dirty laundry in her space to wash them.
She wanted to use her bare hands but realized that it would take too much time so she opened an electrical generator and powered up the washing machine.
These things still took time. She was entirely clueless about how to operate the generator. She had to reread the manual over and over again before she finally understood how it worked.
It was really helpful that she raided the mall and took nearly everything. Even bookstores weren't spared. For a straight-A student like her who likes to read books during her pastime, looting a bookstore is a must-have.
Though she didn't have much time to spare to read books anymore, she could still come to her space and check them out. The contents of some books were still helpful.
Like now, reading manuals helped provide some basic knowledge and information regarding appliances. She wasn't an omnipotent learner who could remember everything and she still had to check the manual every once in a while.
It was tiring but rewarding.
The feeling of accomplishment after working hard made her feel very satisfied that she had put in a lot of effort and that effort wasn't wasted.
Lilian Mo after much time started to feel sleepy. Someone had gotten in the backseat and sat beside her.
Since she could hear Mu Qingqing chatting with Mizuki Rei infront, someone else must have sat beside her.
The heavy breathing indicated it was a man. They also exuded a certain masculine fragrance that smelled familiar it was almost dizzying.
'Maybe it's Brother Qian...' Lilian Mo thought as she succumbed to sleep.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
In a wide plain near a town, a figure was hunching and producing sounds. It was the disgusting and horrifying noise of a human corpse being eaten.
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
Lilian Mo gripped the rifle in her hand. The mission indicated that there were only level three or level four mutants in the area but what was this monster doing here?
Lilian Mo did not understand why a level seven mutant was here. It had the intelligence of a human and could speak. It also looked like a humanoid and was easy to identify with its blood-red skin and piercing red eyes that were like rubies.
If it weren't for its sharp teeth and wrong skin color, people would really think that this monster was human.
But this was now hard to believe since this seemingly humanoid mutant was eating a human's leg as if it was snacking on a drumstick.
It sat on a log with its back hunched, patiently eating its food. Unlike the savage way of eating that most mutants below Level five did, this level seven mutant ate like a refined meticulous person.
Lilian Mo was only at Level five and this was after she had painstakingly endured a lot of hardships. Even so, she was no match for this monster that could outrun her and even speak the same language as her.
Lilian Mo decided to retreat wisely.
She was very quiet and very careful with her movements but one wrong move would definitely end with her death.
Flop!
The human leg that the Level seven mutant was eating dropped on the ground.
Lilian Mo froze when the monster stood up and slowly raised its head that was lowered when it was in a crouching position.
She was clearly still hidden in sight but she suddenly felt an ominous feeling. She was about to take a step backward when a figure flashed infront of her.
She sucked in a lot of air.
The Level seven mutant had appeared before her. Was she going to die? Lilian Mo felt weak to the point that she couldn't even raise her rifle to fire. Against a monster that was releasing a scary and dominating aura, a mere Level five like her was nothing but a tiny ant compared to it.
Her thoughts had gone haywire as her heart began to beat even faster.
"M... Miss... M... Mo..." The Level seven mutant trembled. Its red eyes like rubies glistened.
Lilian Mo gasped and dropped her rifle.
Her eyes watered.
"M... Miss... Mo..."
She took a step backward.
"Miss Mo..." It repeated with much clarity.
Lilian Mo stared at the half mutant with disbelief in her gaze. Why did the monster look like Lin Fang?
She closed her eyes, the dark abyss consuming her.
