"Ok Becca now that we have left the city what should we do?"

Nathaniel asked

"I don't, Beth!"

Becca didn't know what to say

"Shhh, she's sleeping."

Quinn whispered trying not to wake a sleeping Beth up.

"Ok. Umm Beth said the place was in New Hope, Pennsylvania, Right?"

Becca mumbled

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure"

Quinn answered. Becca let out a big yawn.

"Go to sleep Becca, you haven't slept today!"

Nathaniel told Becca

"No, I'm good"

"Sleep, Becca I mean it."

"Fine!"

Becca groaned and then immediately dozed off.

"So, I just googled the way from here to New Hope. It's 40 hours, so have fun, you can drive."

Quinn laughed.

"Uhhh, geez what's the time and why the hell is it so bright."

Beth grumbled

"Had a good sleep Love, and it's 4am."

Nathaniel answered

"Ok, so."

Beth took a quick break to yawn and continued

"Sorry, but umm what did I want to say... yeah so the cops change shifts at 6am so 2 hours. So what I'm trying to see is Nathaniel drive as fast as you fucking can, but not so fast we get the cops called on us and we also need a new car!"

"Let's quickly break that down cause I barely understood it, so I need to drive faster but not too fast! We need a new car because otherwise we will be caught. Am I right love!"

Nathaniel explained

"Yeah pretty much. And also shut it with the fucking love"

Beth yelled quietly

"No can do."

He paused for a second and smirked

"Love"

"Ok, if you weren't driving this fucking car I would have ripped off every single one of your fingers and shoved it down your god for saken throat"

An angry Beth screamed

"Geez love, that sounds kinky didn't know you were into that stuff, but umm like everyone is sleeping and I don't think they want to be woken up. Sorry"

Nathaniel smiled, he looked over to his rear view mirror and saw a middle finger.

"This feels very awkward, like the tension, could cut it with a knife"

Quinn whispered over to Beth. Beth burst in laughter.

"God, you're funny. Like super funny"

"Ok so you two, I've decided our first stop is going to be Las Vegas, we're going to change our license plate"

"Quick interruption, sorry Nathaniel but how are we going to change the license plate?"

Quinn interrupted Nathaniel, but Nathaniel continued

"We're going to steal"

Nathaniel teased

"What!"

Beth screamed, nearly bursting the windows.

"Just kidding. Love please stop screaming some people would like to sleep, so I have, I mean my grandad had a car under someone else's name and I have the keys so we're going to take the plate and switch, I'm then going to pay someone to drive the car somewhere else."

"Umm ok seems like a plan. So what's after Las Vegas or what's after changing the license plate. Just what you wanted to say before Quinn interrupted"

"Sorry"

Quinn murmured while half asleep

"So basically once we have changed the plate, we'll get a makeover to change our looks and then we'll leave again. It should take us about 4 hours so now 2 to get there so 6am because I'm going to speed a bit, can't forget breakfast and lot's of coffee, maybe some alcohol. At 10am I want us to have gone from Las Vegas. Then from Las Vegas, oh love could you please call the real estate and book or whatever for the house. Here's a burner phone we brought before. Then from Las Vegas we will drive to a place called Cortez which is in Colorado. It should take us about eight hours from Las Vegas to there. So if we stay on time we should be there at six. Then we will decide what to do next. Ok love, is this what you wanted."

Nathaniel told Beth. While Nathaniel was telling her this she quickly called the real estate agent and made everything clear.

"Sure, it's fine. Where did you get this idea?"

Beth asked

"You were asleep for a while, love. Me, Becca and Quinn were talking and have a plan for today."

Nathaniel yawned. His eyes started slowly shutting.

"Pull over Nathaniel, I'll drive you seem tired so we'll switch!"

Beth firmly stated.

"Are you sure you can drive, don't you always get driven around?"

"You know Nathaniel I can drive, and I don't get driven around everywhere. I was trying to be nice."

Beth exclaimed. Nathaniel rolled his eyes and pulled over.

"Thanks! Now go to sleep"

Beth smiled and her and Nathaniel swapped seats. She went back on the highway and started racing between the few cars driving. Everyone was sleeping, regaining their energy. Since Beth was alone she put on the radio that had been turned off.

"Hello, fellow radio listeners. We have just got a report that seven kids have escaped the Beverly Hills police department. The kids being: Beth Fetcher, daughter of surgeon Thomas Fletcher; Becca Brown, daughter of mayor of Los Angeles; Nathaniel Williams, grandson of racecar driver Charles Williams; Sage Fawn, who's dad is Andrew Fawn; Melania Bartolomeo, her mother is co-worker of Andrew Fawn, Selena Henry. Then there's Daniel Smith who is friends with Beth Fletcher. The last person is Quinn Moon who is a star student at Harvard-Westlake School. Cardigan by Taylor Swift started to play.

"You probably should keep the radio playing."

Daniel said.

"Geez you scared me Daniel"

Beth shaked.

"It's so rude that they called me just your friend, I'm so much more than that"

Daniel complained

"Yeah, like your dad is a hot shot businessman."

Beth replied.

"So, where are we going."

Daniel asked

"Oh, Nathaniel and Becca decided to have a quick stop at Las Vegas so that's where we are going."

Beth explained.

"Ok, cool."

"Is everyone else sleeping?"

"No Sage and Melania just woke up, but yeah everyone else is sleeping."

"Ok thanks."

Daniel went back to sleeping and Beth kept her eyes on the road still listening to radio, making sure to hear every update about the group's escape.

"Hey Melania, how was your sleep"

Sage asked

"Good, my Tesla is super comfortable."

Melania answered

"Yeah"

Sage awkwardly said. Melania chuckled.

"So are you excited to leave LA."

Melania asked Sage

"Yeah, you know I've always wanted to leave. So yup. Imagine it the house is next to a river, it was built in the 1800 hundreds and looks like a cottage. A dream!"

"Yeah I guess it seems nice, but I would rather live in a city"

"Yeah but people, no one lives around the house. The city is full of people."

"I guess you have a point."

"Melania, do you know how we are going to make money?"

"No, but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I know I could sell a few things I make and you seem very crafty. Nathaniel well he has ways. He's a criminal right? I saw Becca grab a camera at her house, so maybe she's good at photography! Quinn is smart tutoring? Daniel I have no idea what he could do, same with Beth."

"Oh so if this works out we can get a cat very soon"

"Yeah."

Melania chuckled thinking about how much Sage wanted a cat.

"So what kind of cat do you want?"

"Well I would love a ginger or white cat, but me and Quinn were talking while everyone was napping and she told me she would love to get a black cat."

"You know thinking about it I think no one was sleeping while we were meant to."

"Yeah, that's why everyone is so tired right now."

"Definitely"

They both laughed.

"Hey you guys want a coffee, there is a gas station in a mile and we need to recharge. So do you want anything? I'll also get some snacks."

Beth asked from the driver's seat. Sage and Melania both looked at each other and shrugged.

"I'll have a black coffee with a bit of sugar and I'll eat a bagel."

Melania answered

"And I would like a green tea and if they don't have that I'll have iced tea or water. I'm not hungry though."

Sage answered

"Oh Beth here's a fake ID."

Melania grabbed a card out of her bag

"You know I'm not even going to ask"

Beth grabbed the card while her hands were still on the wheel.

"Ok so Daniel likes cappuccinos. I'll get Nathaniel a cappuccino as well. I know he loves them. Becca will like a latte I'm sure. Quinn seems like a black coffee kind of person."

Beth started to explain. Then she drove off the highway while still talking to the others. She arrived at the gas station and went to the charging station. She asked Melania to help with the order, so Beth and Melania hopped out of the car with some money and two fake IDs. They walked into the shop and Melania grabbed some snacks while Beth ordered the drinks. While at the cash register the worker said:

"You know you kinda look like one of the girls who just escaped from the police station in Beverly Hills"

Beth was shocked, thinking about what to do.

"Haha as if I would be honoured to look and be anyone of the people, I mean they all look so amazing. But I would also like to pay for the car that's charging over there. Along with the drinks and these snacks, thanks!"

Beth smiled at him

"Going on a road trip?"

He asked her

"No me and my family are going to visit our family over the weekend, my grandma is in the hospital so yay. They live in Colorado so we want some food and drinks for the ride."

Beth answered making sure he had no questions left.

"Well I'm sorry for your grandma and here's your change. Have a nice drive!"

"Thank you have a nice day!"

Beth said walking out with Melania next to her. Once they had made it outside Melania laughed:

"Good save."

"Thanks, can you take these cups I need to open the door?"

"Sure"

"It feels very dry here."

"Yeah well that's the desert air for you"

Melania claimed. They both got into the car, at this point everyone was awake. So Melania and Beth gave everyone their coffees and Sage her tea.

"Ew,what is this"

Nathaniel spat out his coffee

"It's a cappuccino, I knew you would love it"

Beth answered with a smile

"I hate cappuccinos"

"Well to bad. We've got half an hour before we arrive so here's some food."

Beth told everyone, handing out the snacks they had brought. She then drove off.

Half an hour later they had made it to their first destination: Las Vegas!
