What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas

The streets were full of humans walking back home stumbling over their feet. Even though it was six in the morning the streets were full of life.

"So where should I go Nathaniel now, you only told me to go to Las Vegas and you clearly didn't put the address into the navigation system?"

Beth asked

"Oh well I don't know what street the car is on but..."

"You don't know. You don't fucking know! The only reason we are here is because of that fucking car of yours!"

"Stop screaming love!"

"Stop screaming, I should stop screaming!"

"Now please stop interrupting me love, as I was saying before you started screaming in my face was I don't know the street but I do know where this as you said fucking car is. So it would be so kind if you let me sit at the driver's seat!"

Nathaniel said sharply, Beth was taken aback. She stayed quiet as everyone else and pulled the car to the side, hopped out and let Nathaniel sit. She then looked outside watching the city, staying quiet. Everyone else thrusted into a conversation about school and what they would do about it.

"We need to continue school, online. Finishing school is very important. If you guys don't want to finish it, I don't really care but I will. I know Beths with me she was telling me how important she finds it"

Quinn firmly stated her beliefs

"I'm with Quinn, I may hate school but it's important"

Becca agreed

"I guess I'm fine with it, it's only one year. But Quinn you're helping me, please!"

Sage begged

"I'll help all of you"

"Fine, we'll do school. But online so no one sees us."

Melania said and everyone agreed. The continued talking but Quinn stepped out of the conversation.

"What's wrong Beth?"

"Look at that couple over there."

Beth pointed at an elderly man and woman.

"Don't they seem in love. Look at her, her smile. I would die for someone to look at me the way they both look at eachother. She has a sparkle in her eyes, one that glitters like, like the stars in the night."

"Yes they do seem very much in love."

A single tear dropped out of Beth's eyes. She quickly wiped it away. A smile formed thinking about the old happy couple and a hope that someone would eventually look at her that way.

"Now is everything ok"

Quinn asked once more. But Beth didn't answer; she just sat looking outside of the window. Quinn didn't ask again, she grabbed a bag of chips and started inhaling them.

"You know we should grab some alcohol, maybe drink our problems away."

Becca whispered over to Nathaniel.

"We are running away from our problems. Plus I'm driving."

"Well Beth can drive, Quinn, Sage, Daniel or Melania. Please I want to drink with someone."

"Fine, I brought my fake ID."

Nathaniel whispered

"Same. While you are changing the license I'll buy some alcohol."

"Ok."

"Melania?"

Nathaniel asked

"Yeah, what"

"Could you drive once we have left Las Vegas"

"Fine, only if Sage sits next to me, no offence Becca but I enjoy Sage's company"

Sages checks went as red as tomatoes

"Non taken, we'll just switch seats."

"Ok I'm fine with it"

Sage and Melania got back to talking

"I want tequila, doesn't matter the price"

"But vodka is better."

"I don't care I want tequila"

"Dude"

Becca stared at Nathaniel blankly.

"Dude, you are so weird. Like how you always call Beth love, even though she hates it, now why do you do that?"

"Sorry to intrude on your private conversation but I overheard your question Becca it's because he wants her attention."

Quinn whispered shyly.

"That makes sense Quinn. We all know what he truly wants"

Becca laughed

"Wait do you know that Na..."

Quinn started

"We're here so everyone hop out"

Nathaniel interrupted Quinn not wanting her to say the rest of her sentence.

Everyone jumped out of the car eager to stretch their legs, other than Beth.

"I'll wait in the car I don't feel so well"

She stayed while everyone left to Nathaniel's grandads car.

"So what were you going to say Quinn"

Becca asked eagerly

"Doesn't matter"

Quinn smiled. Becca slid off away from the group to a nearby supermarket to get some alcohol.

Once they had arrived at a garage Nathaniel pulled out a set of keys and opened it up. The car was stunning and Nathaniel then turned back.

"Quinn can you go and drive the car here, Sage and Melania you guys could head to this address tell them Nathaniel Williams sent you and he will be there shortly and Daniel could you please go with the girls but on the way there is a shop called 'Williams & Grim' aans you will tell them that Nathaniel Williams sent you and they will give you something that you should bring to the shop where Melania and Sagge will be and give it to the owner. And now could everyone please get to the things I just told them."

Nathaniel told everyone before grabbing a piece of paper and giving it to Melania. Everyone then left while Nathaniel opened up the car. He sat down in the passenger seat and started to cry. Inside his grandad's car. Memory's were flooding his brain, from him and his grandfather in this exact car. He sat there crying until someone knocked on the window.

"Are you ok, I know this is the car your grandad drove in in the car accident."

Beth kindly asked like an angel.

"I'm fine"

He answered quickly, wiping away his tears.

"Don't tell anyone that I just cried"

"Don't worry what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, like they always say"

Beth laughed, just then Quinn came up with the car.

"Beth there you are I was wondering where you went."

Quinn happily said

"I thought someone had kidnapped you"

"Sorry Quinn for scaring you but I wanted to catch up to you guys. So where are the others?"

"They went up ahead which we will be doing once we change the license plates"

Nathaniel said while getting out of the car and walking towards the other car. He was holding a hammer in his hand, while the two girls stood talking about things. With the hammer he got out the screwdrivers and pulled out the screws in the plate. Once he had pulled out every last one he moved over to his grandpa's car doing the same. Once he was done there he got to putting each plate on the other car.

"So I'm done, so we can get going and meet the others."

He said while putting the hammer back in his grandad's car. He then showed the girls into the car and in silence he drove to the address.

"Ah Mr. Williams welcome. Your three friends told me you would be coming, so I'll start with the young lady with red hair."

The owner welcomed Nathaniel and took Sage by the hand into another room.

"Where's Becca?"

Daniel asked

"Umm she went to the supermarket to get some period things but she should be arriving soon."

Nathaniel quickly thought up. Then like clockwork Becca arrived with two bags one full of alcohol and the other surprisingly full of tampons, pads and a few menstrual cups.

"Hey I brought some tampons and stuff because you know we get them and I brought sweets and some drinks like water and stuff."

She smiled at Nathaniel and mouthed:

"I got vodka!"

Nathaniel was annoyed so he stuck his middle finger up.

"Hello could everyone please follow me for your makeovers, just through this door."

The lady from before told us and opened the door for us to go through. Everyone walked through and saw mirrors upon mirrors and Sage sitting in a chair with her beautiful long red hair chopped off. The lady then told them to sit each down on a chair to get their hair changed.

Melania's E-girl purple bangs and the rest of their pink hair was cut short and dyed brown. Beth's beautiful long brown hair was kept long but dyed blond. Becca's purple short hair was dyed blue on one side of her hair, she also got curtain bangs. Daniel's short messy hair was shaved off, while Nathaniel's short proper hair was let down and the brown was now black. Quinns hair was not changed but she was told to wash her hair and so her natural hair was kept, she now had coily hair up to her shoulders.

Now that that was done everyone get into the car and Melania who was now driving raced out of the city leaving for the next destination: Cortez, Colorado.
