"Daniel, wake up"

Nathaniel whispered

"What, just let me sleep"

Daniel groaned

"God Daniel move your ass out of bed. We're leaving with or without you plus it's twelve"

"Ugh fine"

Daniel yawned and got out of bed

"I hate you, you're just like Beth always pissing me off because you need me to do the most human stuff"

"Geez I love being compared to Beth"

Daniel laughed

"Now get out I'm getting changed, go to your love or l'amour"

Daniel pushed Nathaniel out and then got changed. Once he was done he opened the door to see Nathaniel leaning against the wall on the other side of the door kissing Elizabeth

He scolded

Nathaniel teased

"You said you would get me a name, just use love"

Elizabeth stomped, Daniel started laughing

"I would pay to see him call you"

Daniel mocked in Nathaniel's British accent

"Wait why did you use a British accent, Charles is french"

Elizabeth questioned

"I like the sound of love in British"

Daniel answered

"Hey mate, how much"

Nathaniel smirked

"God everything that I own"

Daniel claimed

Nathaniel laughed

"But I get to film it"

Daniel finished

Nathaniel and Daniel shook hands before Nathaniel turned to Elizabeth

Nathaniel said in his normal accent, Daniel who was taking the video sent it to Becca.

Becca saw it and texted back

Daniel realized once he had gotten into the car

"I forgot to quit my job"

'Hello, I'm sorry but I've sadly moved and so I can't go into work anymore'

"So where are we going"

Nathaniel stopped for a moment

"I'm not good enough anyway"

"We're going to my apartment"

Nathaniel nodded his head. Daniel looked out of the window looking at New York passing by

"I was looking forward to seeing Francis again, maybe I could finally ask him to go to dinner with me, maybe even hang out afterwards. But as friends of course, god why am I so mixed with my emotions. Just, I wish there was a way to see that you like the person you're not just overthinking. I'm overthinking right yeah there is no way I like guys I mean I've kissed girls before yeah but also guys. But I hated being kissed by girls. But I can't be gay their is no way. I could be bi but I don't feel comfortable calling myself that. I could just not label myself. Or I call myself straight. Yeah I'm straight there's no way I like boys"

Daniel talked to himself struggling with himself

"Hey Na Charles can we go jogging later"

"Sure, I need it anyway"

Elizabeth stated

"We're here"

Elizabeth smiled opening up her apartment door

"So there are two bedrooms, one bath. Me and Charles are sharing a room"

She exclaimed, grabbing Nathaniel's arm and pulling him into their new room. Nathaniel smiled and went to Daniel

"So we going on our jog now"

"Yeah, get changed"

They both got changed and left

"I could hear you whispering to yourself in the car, what's that about"

Nathaniel asked, while jogging next to Daniel in central park which was next to Elizabeth's apartment

"I was just contemplating everything in my life"

"Seems nice, you can talk to me like you said before I'm a boy version of Beth"

Nathaniel finished his sentence

"That's not what I was going to say but yeah, she's nicer. Ok so there is a guy at my old work and everyday we go out to eat lunch in our lunch break and I was before we left thinking to ask him to eat dinner, to get to know each other, but we left"

"Yeah"

"Do you think we will ever come back to New Hope"

"I don't know, eventually but in the near future I don't think so"

"First off we need to wait for Beth to cool down"

"That's going to take awhile"

Nathaniel laughed

"I was texting Becca while you were sticking your tongue down Elizabeth's throat and last night they got drunk, Beth made an OnlyFans as well"

"Took her long enough, she's been saying she was going to do that since her birthday"

"Well she was drunk so that probably pushed it forward"

"I would pay to see her reaction when sober her found out"

"So tell me about more about the co-worker"

"Well he's from Germany. He's hilarious, he can make me laugh even on my worst day. His personality just clicks with mine, he kinda likes sport too and so we talk about that the whole time. He always listens when I'm talking about my passions, and I do it when he's talking. He's just so interesting. I love listening to his stories of his childhood and I would love to be in these future stories. As friends! He's super interested in the case of the seven teens missing and he is always giving me updates about what happened, whose hair they found, whose blood, so I'm always very up to date which is fun, love hearing him talk about my life. It's very interesting hearing his theories about what he thinks we did, what happened. His favorite theory is that we ran away because we were unhappy, which isn't wrong, but we all split up having no prior connection and we were only working together to get out of prison. So now we are all somewhere around the country. You are up in Oregon where your blood was found, Melania's hair is there because you had it on you because only one strand was found. He believes Beth went to a city, New York, maybe stayed in LA, you get the area. Sage went to the middle of nowhere in like the states that no one knows. Melania is in Las Vegas or in the area because of her license plate. Becca, New Mexico because apparently Becca knows people in New Mexico, I don't know he didn't give much context. Quinn is in Boston at uni under a fake name, studying because apparently if you're that smart why wouldn't you study. He also said that we were still communicating over phones to make sure we don't get caught and so that we still have friends. And that we made a plan to meet up every few months to change areas and talk about our next moves. He thinks we are planning to leave the country but we are waiting for the lookout for us to die down. Which thinking about it doesn't seem like a bad idea, why didn't we think about it. Anyway so he says we changed our appearance drastically like contacts, hair dye, completely different clothes, maybe even makeup to change our face shape, fake tan, complete hair changes like bangs, hair short the whole deal. We wouldn't go out, unless needed and to make money we would sell things online, or just live off the grid. We would have a police radio which he assumes we stole to listen to what the police are saying, so if they think they have found us we can move. We would be listening to the radio religiously and keeping up with the internet somehow, he never explained how, I'm guessing he meant we brought or stole some phones. But that's just his first theory"

"How did you remember all that"

"I like to listen to him, he's very interesting. Like he could make the most boring story sound interesting, it's something I admire. He's so confident like he could wear a trash bag and still look good because of how confident he looks in it, he will do anything he wants and doesn't care about what society thinks. I would die to have his ...everything honestly"

"He seems like a character"

"Yeah he is perfect, but in a friend kind of way. He has got a dream and he's pursuing it and nothing is stopping him, other than money. He works overtime to earn more, does his best to get tips. He also helps people outside of work, there's a lady who he told me, he helps every time she needs help. He brings her grocery whenever his shift is over, he cooks her dinner. It's so sweet"

"I can imagine"

"I would love to be his best friend and be there with him while he does this, help as well. But I can't because we aren't meant to know that many people due to people maybe recognizing us"

"Yeah it sucks, but everything to not go back I can not go to juvie"

"I forget that's why you left, everyone else left due to shitty parents, Quinns the exception she's leaving because of her ex."

"Why did you decide to come with us"

"I've got a shit dad and Beth was coming and I wanted to be there for her but look where that has ended up"

That's when they made it back to Elizabeth's house, Nathaniel ran to the shower leaving Daniel behind groaning.
