Maybe we could go on a date

"Bye guys have fun"

Becca laughed saying bye to Sage and Melania

"So do you think they are finally going to admit their feelings"

Quinn asked from the kitchen, Becca walked back to the kitchen and sat down next to Quinn

"Good question, I feel like Melania if anyone is definitely going to do it"

Becca answered

"Yeah but Sage was the one who wanted to go"

Quinn argued

"Ok fine, if they come back and they are together or kissed and Melania started it I get ten dollars and if Sage initiated it you get ten dollars"

Becca and Quinn shake their hands, Quinn looked down

"Hey are you ok"

Becca asked

"Yeah I'm fine"

Quinn snapped

"Quinn you can talk to me, we all understand if you aren't feeling good"

"I'm fine Becca"

"Keeping in your emotions isn't good for you"

"Drinking whenever something goes wrong isn't good for you too"

"Thanks Quinn at least I'm not bottling up my feelings I let out my feelings when I drink. But it's good to talk to people"

"Your not my therapist"

"And you shouldn't act like everyone else's therapist Quinn, that's all you would do whenever Beth and Nathaniel got into a fight or if anyone got into a fight you would always try to get everyone's side and calm everyone done I'm just trying to help you so sue me"

Becca yelled and grabbed some alcohol before storming into Nathaniel's room

"Nathaniel, can you get drink with me Quinn is annoying me"

Becca complained

"Bro shh I am still sleeping or want to and why are you drinking it is 8am"

Nathaniel groaned still lying in bed

"Nathaniel please I want to drink with my drinking partner"

"No Becca I said no get over it. You don't need to drink go on a jog anything stop drinking, especially during the day"

"Why is everyone telling me I drink to much"

"Becca you drink at least a glass a day. Maybe tone it down"

"Ugh fine you, you, you annoying piece of shit"

Becca stormed out and stomped to the kitchen to put the alcohol back

"So is Nathaniel not drinking with you"

Quinn laughed

"Yeah so shut up"

Becca hissed

"I'm worried about Beth I don't know"

"Geez you could have said that we all are you don't need to hide that from us"

"I'm sorry"

"Geez it's fine, it was just an excuse to get drunk"

"You seriously need to stop drinking"

"I know, it's just I like to drink it means all my problems are gone"

"Wish I could do that"

"Yeah of course you do"

At this point a full dressed Daniel came down the door.

"Where are Sage and Melania"

Daniel asked putting on a coat

"They left to go somewhere, where you going"

Becca answered

"I'm going to meet with Francis"

"You and him have been spending a lot of time together"

"Well we get along"

Daniel ended the conversation walking out of the door after hugging Becca and saying bye. He walked into town to a park where Francis was waiting.

"Hey Francis"

Daniel hugged Francis

"Hi Alexander"

He smiled

"So are you going to tell me today why you called me crying two weeks ago."

"My umm best friend was shot"

"Oh god I'm so sorry"

"It's fine you took my mind off that"

"Well that's good to hear. How are they"

"They're in a coma, so we are waiting for her to get out of the coma"

"I'm so sorry if you need anything you know how to call me. Now I don't like talking about these depressing things so have you heard about the seven teens the update"

"No, I've been so swamped with my friend that I haven't kept up and you haven't been telling me about the new updates"

"Oh well they thought the teens were here, here in New Hope. I don't think they found them but the thought that maybe the teens were here is so cool, finally something interesting happens here, I even got to talk to a police officer about the case, she didn't say much but it was so cool and she was super pretty."

"Oh yeah well she has to be in shape to be an officer I would guess"

"She may of been cute but she seemed very shocked and like fragile"

"That seems interesting, I wonder why"

"Yeah same. So what do you want to do"

"I don't know is there a movie theater maybe we can go watch something"

"Yeah seems fine"

Francis checked his phone to look for any films running, they both looked at the different films running. They decided on Soul. They both walked their way to the movie theater talking the whole way. Once they arrived they ordered tickets, they got some popcorn, drinks and some more sweets. They went into the cinema and got their seats. They sat down next to each other and the film started. Throughout the whole movie they would be grabbing popcorn and their hands would touch, they both smiled at each other and Daniel would always blush.

"We're just friends, I don't like him we are just friends"

Daniel was whispering to himself the entire film, he had to calm himself down. He had to remind himself he wasn't gay even though he was sure he was. Daniels' palms were sweating, his face was drowning in sweat. He looked nervous, he wasn't even watching the film, he was just overthinking everything he was doing. Was he grabbing the popcorn to face, was he eating too much and everything was overthought. He was touching his fingers, nervously playing with them. Every now and then he would wipe the sweat away from his forehead. He was picking the skin from his fingers, he was biting his fingernails. He couldn't even think straight, his mind was infiltrated with Francis and how nervous he was. Once the film ended he breathed a sigh of relief he was finally out of the small enclosed room next to Francis. He ran out of the room to breathe fresh air again.

"Why did you run out"

Francis asked once he had also caught up to Daniel

"Oh sorry I just needed fresh air. It was very stuffy in the cinema, I just needed to breathe"

"Oh ok, want to get food'

"We just ate a large popcorn and you want more food"

"Yes?"

"I love you. In a friendly way of course"

Daniel quickly deflected himself

"Yeah in a friendly way"

Daniel nodded. They awkwardly stared at each other.

"Sooooo where do we want to go eat?"

Daniel interrupted the silence

"Maybe we can go eat ice cream"

"Yeah that seems like a good idea"

And so the two men set out to the ice cream shop on the other side of town, they walked the whole way just talking and laughing about what happened. Francis had lot's of conspiracy theories about the film they had just watched, Daniel just listened sometimes adding in stuff but for the most part laughing and listening to Francis. Once they arrived at the ice cream shop they both ordered the ice creams they wanted and then walked towards the park they had been in before walking, eating and laughing together. They sat down on a bench and continued talking. They spent the next hour sitting on that bench talking and low key flirting.

Then it started to pour, the rain gushed down. The two men laughed but when it got bad the two men started to panic, they ran through the city drowning in rain. They laughed and danced in the rain. Daniel was smiling his mind was finally off Beth and her situation instead it was on Francis. His beautiful long blond hair drenched in water, his stark blue eyes sparkling. His white shirt was drenched in water so you could perfectly see his abs shining through his shirt. His stomach tattoo could be seen perfectly through his shirt. Water was dripping down his face. Daniel started to realize while following Francis through the streets of New Hope. Daniel soon started to shiver

"Are you cold Charles"

He asked

"Yeah, I'm starting to feel the water"

"Oh well let's go to my apartment it's a street down"

Francis suggested

"Sure let's go"

This was the first time Daniel had been to Francis' apartment, Francis held Daniels hands and they both ran to Francis Apartment. Francis opened up his door and they both strolled into the apartment and Francis encouraged Daniel to sit down on the couch while Francis grabbed him a blanket to warm up.

"You stay here I'll get the shower ready for you to warm up"

Francis hummed and left the room, Daniel heard the shower turn on. Minutes later Francis came out of the room

"The shower is on so you can shower now, it's warm now"

Daniel threw off the blanket and went into the shower, he locked the door and went into the shower. He had decided he was going to ask Francis to maybe go on a date while showering, he was mentally preparing while humming his favorite songs. He got out and started to practice what he was going to say. He was in the bathroom for thirty minutes. He shouted from inside the bathroom

"Hey Francis can you get me some clothes to wear"

"Yeah sure"

Daniel heard Francis open something

"I placed some clothes in front of the door"

And then Daniel heard Francis leave, Daniel opened the door and grabbed the clothes Francis had left out. He changed and then went back outside to the living room to where Francis was sitting.

"Are you warmer now"

Francis asked

"Yeah thanks for letting me shower"

"Always"

Francis patted the seat next to him, showing Daniel to sit next to him

"So I know we haven't known each other for very long but I enjoy my time with you very much. So I was wondering if maybe we could go on a date"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

Francis started but then the doorbell rang, so he went to the door and opened it

"This is my girlfriend, Georgia this is Alexander, Alexander Georgia. This is the coworker I was telling you about Alexander"

Francis explained, Daniel wanted to open his mouth but his phone started to ring

"Yeah hey what's wrong Becca"

"Daniel come to the hospital, they just called us saying something happened to Beth"
