Vol 2: Prologue: The deep currents of the ocean

The ocean is as far and wide as you can see. It’s wisdom unseen. Its nature is ferocious and yet gentle, it is the mother of all creations in this universe.

It birthed the first life form and it will take away the last one too.

And yet for all its gentleness and maturity, it is regarded as the force of protection. Its ferocious nature and gentle interior are all but a facade to hide its true nature. It’s wide blue, a way to reconcile all the dark and light that plays inside it.

It is but a mirror of the sky which blanks it in all its eternity, the one who is willing to bend and mould itself in every way you desire.

And yet it asks the question - Are you ready to surrender yourself to its eternity? Or will you dwindle on it a little more before you come to a decision?

This is the story of the storm which blanked the world on that day, of the protector who sacrificed itself to make a way for everyone else to survive the rage of the blackness of that day.

It waited and watched and waited again. If you could appeal to it, if you could provide it with answers it seeks it will become the protector which would stay with you for eternity forever.

However, only one could tame the storm for it is as loyal as it is ferocious? How to do that? Well, a wish might help you out.

The child who fell down the well discovered a secret hidden from the world. The endless light indeed had an end to it. However, the place where he fell could be no mere place.

It was a haunting beauty, the place of horrors and yet of fantasy. The light shone through the gaps in the tree’s foliage in front of him.

However, one could merely see that it was not a common tree for it grew on a small piece of land surrounded by water. If the child was a little more attentive or literate, he would have wondered how the tree grew up in such a place.

But alas, the child was young, still full of his childlike wonders. For him, the place was a solute - a much-needed escape he had wished for. The cruelty of the world had withered away at his soul, but he could feel the soothing ness in the place.

The tree’s canopy-covered far and wide, the covered area a canvas of shades and light.

Small animals hopped all around the place and flowers filled the place with a soothing smell that appealed to his senses.

The place made him feel a lot of things and made him forget a lot of things too.

It was safe and comfortable here. He could stay there forever and yet his heart yearned to look around the place.

If this was a wish come true then he would want to explore the best of his abilities. There were no cruel shadows to stop him, no one to beat him either.

He could look around as much as he wanted. There was no limit. There were fruits on the trees in his vicinity.

He could also spot a spot of green much bigger than his current location. His vicinity only had the green tree as well as the small animals.

And a boat without an owner on site. He could view everywhere from his current location but the owner looked not to be on site.

Gathering his courage the child stirred toward the boat without the owner. However, he soon discovered that the owner of the boat was sleeping inside the boat.

The person was surprised to see a child in the holy land but looked too happy to see him. He looked at him as if the child was his last hope in this world.

It worried the child, but he had no other choice than to follow the boatman. There was no food on the island and he would starve otherwise.

The boatman led the child toward the faraway green island in the vicinity where the child was welcomed with vigour as if a messiah had descended from heaven.

And so the child began his journey of growing up. Yet the shadows inched closer than ever and the dusk approached all around them.
