From ancient times, there existed businesses that sold wishes if the customer paid the right price. It didn't matter if the wisher was human or not. For more reasons than one, the current wish granted Xiao finds it is difficult to not get lost in the mysteries of his job and the world around him. There is discord brewing all around him.

And, as the water thickens, so does the stakes for everyone involved. Magic might turn out to be not so magical after all as their worlds collide in his view. Not to mention, their latest acquaintance seems a little sketchy. 

And the dreams that haunt one's subconsciousness make everything much more complicated.

The Business of Wishes

“Are you sure that this is what you want Xiao? You still have time to think about it. You don’t need to lock yourself away for a week” Noah’s voice held concern which Xiao was grateful for. Despite everything, it made him feel as if at least someone was on his side. 


Kei had not been amused by his plan, the child had not even heard a third of what Xiao wanted him to hear before going back. 


But that was alright. At least the child was safe for the time being. The plan had been simple, for Kei to go home and search out everything about the 7 as he could while Xiao kept everyone distracted with his imprisonment here. 


Well, it would have been simple if Kei would be a good child and follow orders. According to him, since he was no longer an employee then he could do whatever he wanted to do and what he wanted to do was to break Xiao outta here. 


And he would be able to do it too. Xiao was sure that Kei had enough resources to manage it even.
