The Mythical City

Teresa and Marcelo arrived promptly to the appointment. The outward austerity of McPherson house impacted them, undoubtedly the most modest of the elegant neighborhood of Mexico City in which it was located. 


McPherson personally opened the door to them and gave them a warm welcome, always within his discreet manners. Once inside the young man noticed that Francisco and his wife were already there, as well as the silent Nyoman, the Balinese bride, who showed an advanced pregnancy. After a while came Lupita and Sergio, her Chilean boyfriend, with a delay of only twenty minutes, pretty good by local standards.
