Nancy and Lucas traveled to San Francisco not only for touristic purposes but also to personally meet several personalities of the Chinese community in that city included Uncle Cheng´s circle of friends. Upon their arrival Nancy was able to compare the size and splendor of San Francisco Chinatown in relation to the Chinese district of Buenos Aires, of much more recent constitution. 


 The meetings were very cordial, but sometimes the hosts after apologizing spoke in Chinese with Nancy, while Lucas toured the stores in which they were received examining the wide diversity of goods although the use of some of them was incomprehensible for the young man.
