The Fate

Aegis and Scathach calmly flew above the water surface, Aegis thanks to his Glyphs, and Scathach with her Primordial Runes...

Both in tranquil silence, Scathach because she didn't need to speak, her smile telling all, and Aegis to who this silence brought a melancholy, for he remembered how often as a mere little soul he would spend time just aimlessly float around sitting Scathach, her mere presence stopping him from any negative thoughts...

Until their silence wasn't broken by interesting humming from Scathach.

"Hmm? And what lays in this direction?"

Aegis looked and used one of the enhancing methods on his eyes to see what his master spoke about and then nodded.

"That is Echaron station..."

"And this Echaron is?"

Scathach said, still looking in that direction with a playful smile.

"A training facility for my Super Sentinels..."

Aegis said with a frown as he could see Scathach hand twitch.

"I will take you there if you wish so, master, but please, now I need to take care of some matters our fight surely brought, and I need you to promise me that you wouldn't, well by you when you meet them..."

Aegis said, as he knew that no matter how resilient his future Super Sentinels would be, Scathach was on a completely different scale, especially when something piqued her interest...

"I will hold on to your promise, o pupil of my alternate self, but I can't promise you anything."

Scathach said with a smile, but Aegis knew he could count on her as even if she seemed wilful, once asked by someone she respected, she would try to follow in their request...

And Aegis knew he earned her respect...

------------------------

"That was..."

Ozpin said as he couldn't find the right words...

"Eye-opening wasn't it?..."

"Very so..."

Ozpin said to Salem who still looked in the direction of Aegis Schnee and this now named Scathach...

"Tell me... Is this your reason for the change?"

Ozpin asked, after all, once he heard from Album how that purple-themed woman was titled, he could somewhat understand Salem's choice for change, after all, this was the first he ever heard someone holding the title of God Slayer...

"No, but you can say that this just strengthened my choice of following that boy... But I still wish to think that the one who brings me their heads would by him..."

Salem said as she touched the glass with a wistful expression on her pale face.

"That explains a lot... But you understand the risk?"

Ozpin asked, already given up on resistance, after all, nobody would live so long without knowing when to kill and when to give up...

"I think, Ozpin, that that boy and I understand the consequences of our actions much more than you... That boy... Aegis Schnee... He is something from this world, and I wish to think that he would do what we failed to do..."

"I understand..."

"No, Ozpin, you truly don't..."

Salem said as both descended into a quiet moment, both with their heads in different places...

After that, they spoke, they screamed, but in the end, Salem walked out of the Ozpin office, with one final goodbye kiss that changed them, for both felt something old lift up, and somehow they finally felt free...

As Ozpin watched the door close, ignoring the calls from panicked Glynda, he couldn't do anything other than to slump into his chair as a tired smile emerged on his face...

"So, this fairy tale ends... Just for another to begin... I truly hope that you will find happiness with him, and Im sorry for not being able to give that happiness to you... Salem..."

Ozpin said as his mind traveled back to the times, to happy times, before the gods, before the politics, to the times, he found that lonely princess in that lonely tower...

Once his mind would be filled be a pain just to think about it, but now, now Ozpin, no Ozma, finally felt at ease...

"What an ending..."

Ozpin muttered with a smile...

Behind Ozpin, multiple forms seemed to float, as the regrets he held in this life seemed to finally lift, three of these forms seemed to by freshest, to four that seemed to by oldest being four little smiling girls, with three middle-aged men one in white military uniform, another with gold and brown clothes, and last, in white red and black clothes, both groups either smiling at him or giving him nods, as the spirit in man form flipped him good-naturedly a and for last time seemed to take a gulp from his flask as his cloak calmly floated behind him...

"What an end..."

Ozpin repeated...

--------------------

"Brother!"

The dark form of a man screamed in panic as he saw his golden brother writhe in pain...

"AAARRGHHH!!!!!"

The golden man with antlers screamed as something seemed to be ripped apart from him.

"Thanks, I would need that."

"YOU! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?! FATE!"

The God of Darkness screamed as he finally saw their assailant...

"Me? Nothing, I didn't do it to him, but you know who did? He himself! After all, nobody plays with FATE without risking backslash, and you my dears, made a very dangerous and annoying enemy..."

"What?"

The God of Light asked as he finally calmed down, but still in pain as he could feel his power severely weakened.

"Yes! Such an interesting specimen, and you, practically given him the world on a silver plate! His guts! To even cut ties from ME! Such daring boy, truly..."

The Fate tsked...

"Then if he is so annoying why do you..."

"Why do I help him? Well, I don't, not really, after all, this happened because of you losing the little piece called Ozma, do you remember? The mortal you fucked up with? Truly, and they say that FATE is Bitch! But no, I do not help him, on the contrary, I WOULD LIKE TO SQUASH HIM! But! He proved to be interesting, why he even befriended my pale sister! And my loli Niece! So no, I will not actively fuck with him, as even if he cut ties from me, I still can make others visit his little paradise to fuck with him, but no, I see another possibility... After all... It is so long ago I had an agent on the material plane..."

Fate smiled as she watched the two gods as if they were worms to be squashed under her heel.

"You..."

The God of Light wanted to say something but couldn't as he felt something closing in.

"Sorry, no time, I still do not want these annoying pests to see I exist, after all, how is that mortal saying goes? Yes, I know, DONT TEMP FUCKING FATE!"

The Fate said as she ceased to exist on the same plane and left the two gods to deal which what was coming.

"YOU!!!!"

"ANOMALIES!!!"

"YOU ARE TO BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE ASCENDANT COUNCIL ANOMALIES!"

The white transparent globs of light screamed as they flexed their power.

"Oh, now these fuckers..."

The God of Darkness grumbled as he erased one of ascended Alterans...

"HOW DARE YOU!"

"YOU KILLED HIM!!!"

"HOW?!!!"

"Now you did it..."

The God of Light said as even if they were stronger than these ascended mortals, both brothers knew that dealing with them was like dealing with annoying pests and that sooner or later, they would be swarmed by these globs of light...

-----------------------

"Do. Not. Play."

The Death said to the emptiness, the proto-maids looked around, alarmed as they heard The Death speak to something they couldn't perceive.

"Don't worry, sister, I just came up with a proposition he would very like..."

A silky voice said, ignoring the panicking proto-maids, The Death just nodded her head, knowing that her sister The Fate will not take away her funny mortals, after all, they belonged to her, and sister or not, The Death does not share...

-----------------------

"Everyone calm now?"

"Speak or."

"Let her by, Lady Morgana showed us respect, we should show her ours."

Jeanne D'Arc said with a respectful nod to Morgana, who smiled at her...

"Do not presume we stand on the same-"

But before Semirasis could continue, there was a sound of pop as the flowery-haired woman seemed to teleport into the room, just to frozen in shock.

"Nope..."

Merlin said as she looked at Arturia who for the first time lost her cool and looked shockingly at her, and then at the grinning and at the same time enraged Mordred...

Then she looked at both Semirasis and Jeanne...

"Nope..."

Merlin said as she disappeared with another pop-like sound.

"THAT BITCH!!!!"

The previously calm Morgana screamed in rage as she saw her ally run and let her deal with this alone...

"Heh."

Mordred made an snrk like sound at her's normally calm mother's outburst.

Even Artoria cracked a small smile, remembering the past interactions, before the wars, before Morgana and Mordred betrayed her...
