As I began to gain some control with Ricky, I can tell that I could fight against Class 4 Danger Beasts. I would have liked to say that I would be able to kill Class 3 Danger Beasts with ease, but most of them are much more resilient and are obviously harder to kill than Class 4 Danger Beasts. And that was why Derierei-nee-sama had me go against a Class 4 Danger Beast: Splinter, a Danger Beast that a deformed, humanoid form with parts of its skin being wood. And it has an irritating scream.
"WWWWIIIIIII!!!!" The little splinter screamed as I kicked it on the stomach, causing it to fall to its back. Then, not wasting this chance, I swung my scythe down into its head, causing it to weakly scream another, "Wwwwiiiiii!!"
It was irritating, so I stepped on its neck, effectively stopping the screeching and crushing it. Pulling my scythe out, I immediately turned around while swinging it, hitting another splinter by its left torso, and the blade had gone deep into the splinter's fleshy body, nearly cutting the irritated little thing in half.
I was sure that it was dead, so I quickly pulled the scythe out from it and kicked another splinter that was coming from behind me, which made me quickly turn around and cut off its head. And, just like that, I killed all my enemies.
"Very good, Kurome-chan. Your reaction time is marvelous, and considering you just started learning how to use a scythe, then I wouldn't reprimand you for not being regal while slaying the beasts." Derierei-nee-sama praised me, and I immediately found myself in front of her, with her hand patting my head, and it was something I loved to feel!
"Mm! I'll definitely get better, onee-sama!" I determined myself to master the scythe, to become stronger, and to get more of Derierei-onee-sama's praises!
"Yes~! You'll definitely become bettah, little Reaper! And I'll be sure tah reward yah with delicious treats while you continue tah get stronger!" Hearing this, I knew I had stars in my eyes as I went to hug Derierei-nee-sama's waist. Though her breasts were a bit of a problem, they were soft and they felt good under my chin!
"Really!?" I asked as I imagined how delicious Derierei-onee-sama's treats would be! I wouldn't even care if they weren't cookies! As long as they were made by Derierei-onee-sama, then I'll enjoy then for sure!
"Mm~ hmmm~~! Definitely! Actually, let's go back teh camp! I have some drumsticks ready fer yah!" Finding out about the drumsticks, I immediately started to drool as I thought about them.
"Yay! Come, onee-sama! Let's gooo!" With food made by Derierei-onee-sama involved, I couldn't help but be impatient.
"Alright, alright~." And just like that, we quickly made our way back to camp.

A week has passed, and after arduous training, and applying what I got from said training on Class 4 Danger Beasts, I was now able to fight against Class 3 Danger Beasts, on a one-on-one though. Fighting a pair of Class 3 Danger Beast is still something I can't currently do.
And throughout the weak, other than training and killing more and more Class 4 Danger Beasts, Derierei-onee-sama had become the best big sister! Akame-nee-sama will always be my number one big sister, but Derierei-onee-sama will be forever my number one adoptive big sister! And she cooks, too! She also has other "skills", but cooking is definitely her best skill! Everything she cooks are heaven-sent!
"I love you, Derierei-onee-sama!" I told her, and Derierei-onee-sama just smiled widely as she pulled me into a hug and rubbed her cheek against mine.
"Ooohh~! I love you too, little Reaper~!" She continues to rub her cheek against mine, and I couldn't help but just smile. Derierei-onee-sama is just someone you couldn't help but fall for, of course, I'm not talking about love-love, like how I love my Akame-nee-sama, but actual sisterly love. However, I wouldn't be opposed to love-love Derierei-onee-sama, just that, I think we're enjoying what we currently are.
"Here, have another cookie." Upon raising said cookie to me mouth, I immediately went to bite it, and it was delicious!
"So cute~!" I heard Derierei-onee-sama compliment me, and I just felt happy at that.
"Well, afteh yah eat, we gotta look fer more danger beasts. Yer gettin' better with Ricky, but yeh could still do more." As Derierei-onee-sama said that, I continued to eat cookie after cookie. I don't know how Derierei-onee-sama made them, especially when I see no oven, but I did see her suddenly summon a bathtub before, so maybe she also made an oven out of magic?
"*Gulp* The mini-map showed that the closest danger beasts are in the canyon. And *munch munch**gulp* based from the intensity of the orange, should be all Class 4. The closest Class 3s are on the other side of the canyon, and the amount is decent. I just don't know what they are." I informed Derierei-onee-sama as I continued to eat her cookies.
"Let's go to the canyon later, after you finish eating your snacks." Derierei-onee-sama says as she gestures at the sack of cookies. Yes, Derierei-onee-sama truly is the best.

As I effectively cut off two Class 3 Danger Beasts', Land Tiger cubs', heads off, I quickly went to attack the enraged Class 2 Danger Beast, Land Tiger. Having seen me kill its children, the Land Tiger was even more mad than it was earlier, when I invaded their cave.
"Rrrraaaaahh!!" The Land Tiger roared as I was able to cut into its left hind leg. It wasn't deep, but should be enough to affect its movement. And before it could swipe at me, I already rolled away from it.
Then, as my feet touched the ground, I immediately jumped farther away from the Land Tiger, dodging another strike from it. Next, I made a backflip, reaching high up in the air, nearly touching the cave's roof, and landed right on top of the land tiger's neck. It was quick to react, but I was quicker, and I swung my scythe down to its face, piercing its skull.
For a moment, the land tiger was still, before it began to sway, then it fell forward. Once it hit the ground with a loud *Thud!*, I leapt off it. Upon landing, I patted off the dust that clung to my uniform.
Then, facing forward, I saw Derierei-onee-sama petting an injured land tiger. Coincidentally, this land tiger had accidentally come into this cave while I was fighting of the other land tigers, and it was already injured, probably had fought something and was hoping to look for some help from its own kind.
For some reason, Derierei-onee-sama took a liking to the injured land tiger, and had eveb started to heal it! And, is it turns out, Danger Beasts and animals can see Derierei-onee-sama, so the land tiger was able to see onee-sama. I didn't pay much attention to it, since I was focused on slaying the land tigers in front of me earlier. But, it seems Derierei-onee-sama was able to tame the beast? It seemed that way, with how Derierei-onee-sama was caressing its horn.
"Derierei-onee-sama." I called to her as I swung the scythe once more, to fling off the blood that clung to it.
"You've done great, Kuro-chan. Why don't you start skinning the mature land tiger. I'll deal with the cubs." Derierei-onee-sama instructed, and without asking any questions, I began to do as she said.

As Derierei-onee-sama roasted a big chunk of the land tiger's meat, I idly watched the other land tiger, the one Derierei-onee-sama tamed and had named Vicky, eat the land tiger cubs' corpses. It was a gruesome sight, but nothing I wasn't used to. I've done gruesome things to my targets too. But I'd never cannibalize, I mean, as a beast or animal, it should be fine for them, but eating other humans will be something I'll never do, no matter how curious I become. However, asking some cannibals how humans taste has crossed my mind.
Then, having my curiosity filled, I left Vicky to eat the cubs so that I could check on Derierei-onee-sama, who was also cooking some more rabbit stew along with roasting the land tiger meat! I, obviously, began to drool as I continued to watch Derierei-onee-sama cook.

After dinner, Vicky had gone to the entrance of the cave, and with her massive body, mostly blocked it. And inside the cave, since we decided to make this our temporary base, were a lot of furniture that Derierei-onee-sama had summoned. In the middle of the cave were the campfire, tables, chairs and multiple, comfortable couches. And at the back were our queen sized bed!
And, with both of us on the bed, cuddling with each other, I listened to Derierei-onee-sama as she hummed a peaceful melody. However, after a while, Derierei-onee-sama stopped so that we could continue to make our plan for tomorrow.
"Since yah are getting better with tah scythe, we could start spreading yer name. The faster yeh complete the mission, the faster we could do m're substantial things. And tah faster we could leave the northern region for something better. We cou'd also need to make connections to 'defy' the Empire. We don't really need tah join up with the Revolutionary Army to do that, and just doing things tah stahp s'me of tah Empire's operations would reward you with many things." As Derierei-onee-sama continued to speak, she didn't stop caressing my hair. While she did so, I began to think about how I would spread the name.
I remembered that there was a village around here, and checking with the Map, I was able to get a clear sight of where it was. And, farther east of it were bandit infested mountains, where I could also use to spread my new name. Killing more than half of them should quickly spread my name.
"Also, maybe we cou'd ev'n hav' yeh learn how tah use Ricky wit' just one hand, so dat yah could wield Yatsufusa wit' yer other'and." Hearing this, I imagined holding Ricky with my left hand, and brandishing Yatsufusa with my right hand. It actually looked cool! And it was now something I definitely want to do!
"Can I?" I asked with utmost sincerity in my voice. I had never thought about dual wielding with a scythe and a katana before. In fact, I was more partial with just wielding just one weapon, and if I needed defense, I could have used the katana's saya.
"Of course yeh can! Especially wit' me around tah help yeh out! As the badass, gangsta' onee-sama, I'll help my little imouto to be'as cool'as me!" There was excitement and determination in her voice, and I couldn't help but chuckle hearing it. It seems that she was more excited in this more than I am.
"Then maybe I'll learn how to, when I get better at wielding Ricky with one hand." I told Derierei-nee-sama as I snuggle deeper into her embrace.
"And I'll be sure to reward you with lots of cookies when you do." I smiled, happy to be protectively be embraced by my onee-sama.

We didn't stay long in our cave base and went to start making Reaper a name to be feared. At first, I had wanted to kill the danger beasts surrounding the village, but I was given a Mission by Derierei-onee-sama to kill 95% of the bandits in Shiranami, which were a total of 296 bandits, and that meant leaving 15 bandits to spread my name. The more fearful they are of "Reaper", the easier my name would be spread around the region.
So, here we were, riding on Vicky's back -Derierei-onee-sama provided a comfortable saddle made for the Land Tiger via the System Rewards-, and looking on to the mountains. There were a lot of bandits here, but they were fortunately scattered around, and with the Map, I was able to plan on which group to attack first, and where I should go for the next kill. Then, for nearly half an hour, I was finally be able to flesh out my plan.
"Yah ready, Kurome-chan?" Derierei-onee-sama asked as she stood behind me, or rather, she was °floating° behind me. Yep, definitely like a ghost.
"I am, Derierei-onee-sama." I answered with confidence, because even if they had the number, I used to be part of the Elite 7, was feared by many, and now, I'm stronger than ever.
"Then, I'mma watch over yah. Be careful, Kurome-chan." Hearing the worry in her voice, I smiled as I turned around to face. Without any hesitation, I tiptoed to kiss Derierei-onee-sama under her chin. I would have went for her nose, but she was too high up.
"I will, Derierei-onee-sama. Watch how your imouto would decimate this group of bastards." And just like that, I lead Vicky to move forward, towards the first bandit group I wanted to get rid off first. Behind me, I knew Derierei-onee-sama was watching on with amusement.

[A/N: Another short chap, but the next chap looks promising. Slaughtering some bandits, Grimm Reaper makes an appearance, some traveling, then meeting up with the Oarburgh clan! And after all that, some more time will be spent in the northern region, spreading the Reaper moniker, before Kurome leaves, just in time for Esdeath to begin purging the northern region of the rebels.
Also, you can suggest what you want to happen!
Currently, I actually want to "reform" Aria. What do you guys think? This would also save Sayo and the dude that Tatsumi was friends with, they would even possibly join Night Raid with Tatsumi! Of course, Kurome wouldn't join Night Raid, and will play around Akame as "punishment".]
