Alfred Lewis

"Ella ?!"

Khristy is already annoyed and forcefully closes Ella's locker door. And Ella just answered with a terrifying gaze.

"You didn't reply to my messages, you didn't even answer my calls." Khristy said irritably.

"So what happened? How about your date? Let me guess, it didn't go well, did it." Khristy said again.

"Look, you already have the answer. Why do you keep asking questions, I don't want to remember anymore." Ella said irritably and started walking out of the school.

"Hi, Ella, honey what's wrong? Am I bothering you?" Calvin suddenly appeared and hugged Khristy, who was still curious about Ella.

"Is this about George? Ha ... I know that. He didn't even come today. So what's up Ella?" Calvin said, grinning.

"Errgghhh ... you guys are really bothering me!" Ella had looked away outside the school, but Kristy and Calvin were still following her.

"What?! Are you serious about what you said?" Finally, Kristy and Calvin got the full story from Ella, but without the Edward Huxley part of the story that kissed her.

"Luckily it was just the kiss you gave George, I told you, right! He's not what you think, Ella. He's not a nice guy!" Kristy said irritably.

"Kristy! It was my first kiss, and he got it." Ella looks sad, even Ella still blames herself.

"I tried to remind you, Ella! Umm ... I mean ... I reminded you through my girlfriend ... I thought you would stay away from him, Ella." Calvin makes his lover's statement clear.

"No wonder he didn't come today. Is he afraid?" Kristy started drinking her colas quickly.

The three of them were spending time in the school garden, enjoying an afternoon that was not too hot at that time.

"Do you want me to teach him a little lesson, Ella? Just tell me, which part you want to destroy?" Calvin asked seriously.

"No Calvin, remember you just finished your detention. And don't get into trouble again. Don't you want to leave school?" Ella emphasized her intonation.

"Hey, it's because that guy confessed to my lover!" Reply Calvin.

"He just borrowed my notebook, Calvin! And you even punched him in the face. And took off your earrings, you look even worse like this!" Kristy is annoyed, forcing him to remove the small earring that is in Calvin's left ear.

"Auuwww, Kristy is sick. And obviously, the weird guy is teasing you." Calvin is still rubbing his ears.

"How can I like you, Calvin? Ghosh ... I think I'm cursed now." Kristy said more irritably.

"Sorry Ella, am I bothering you?" A man with glasses with dark brown hair and very shiny suddenly appeared.

Calvin and Kristy have stopped fighting, and are staring at the nerdy man in front of them.

"Hi Ron, I don't think this is your study group." The sarcasm of Calvin and Kristy immediately elbowed and glared at his girlfriend.

"Hi Calvin, in my opinion ... this is not a gang of thugs like you either." Ron quipped back.

"You!!" Calvin was eager to throw his punch, but Kristy was immediately arrested.

"Calvin, hold your temper!" Kristy ordered, and Calvin obeyed automatically.

"What's the matter, Ron?" Ella asked in confusion.

"Mmm ... regarding that ... I still need someone for my group, do you remember earlier Miss. Bianca asked us to create a study group for our assignment." Ron made it clear.

Ella just stared in confusion and returned to remembering her Math lesson.

"Ahh... Surely you must be already have your own group." Guess Ron.

"Honestly not yet," said Ella.

"Ah glad to hear that, do you want to join my group?" Asked Ron with great enthusiasm.

Ella was silent for a moment and looked thoughtful.

"Why not ... And can Kristy come if you don't mind?" Asked Ela again pointing to his friend.

"Are you kidding, Ella? I'm not in the mood for your offer to be a bunch of smart kids!" Kristy whispered to Ella.

Ron looked at Kristy, then at Calvin, who was still holding back his emotions. He also looked back at Ella who was in front of him.

"Of course, that's not a problem."

"Thank you, i'm so glad you wanted to join my group. I know you're a smart student, Ella." Praise Ron.

"Thanks, Ron." Ella said, but she was still confused by Ron who was still standing and hadn't left the three of them.

"So, what else?" Asked Ella.

"Umm ... can I ask for your phone number?" Ron asked strangely, and Ella was immediately taken aback.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to be mean or anything. Just for the purposes of our study group, I'll make a group chat." Ron made it clear.

Ella gave Ron her number, as well as her friend Kristy, although she had to.

After that Ron had completely left the three of them.

"Obviously, the eyeglass guy likes you, Ella. He's not even better than George." Said Calvin, who was already starting to pour out his frustration.

"Damn... why I have to join the study group? I don't care if my math score is bad." Kristy was annoyed too.

"Come on ... at least Ron isn't a bastard like George." Said Ella.

"Excuse me, Ella?" They heard a man's voice calling from behind their backs.

"Ron! Now what else?" Said Kristy irritated, and she mistook it.

Because it wasn't Ron who called, but a man with black hair who staring at them.

Ella recognized him, the man in the mustang red car, a man who had asked her, during a celebration at the Huxley family home, the man who had once sympathized with her for carrying Edward's new fishing rod.

***

Ella and Alfred are already at a small coffee shop not far from their school. Actually, She was still confused about why that man politely asked Ella to be with him.

"Sorry, if I'm not polite. Looks like we've never met formally at all. Introduce me, my name is Alfred Lewis, and you've also met my brother John Lewis. He was always with George." Said, Alfred.

Ella immediately understood Alfred's aim.

"Is it because of the incident last Friday night?" Guess Ella with confidence.

"You're a smart girl, Ella. Before I would like to apologize for my brother's actions. I've heard all the stories, and that's because I caught my brother home with a battered face." Said, Alfred.

Ella didn't like the direction of their conversation, she straightened her seat. She hopes, she doesn't look like a weak woman, if Alfred tries to threaten her - that's what Ella thought at the time.

"What do you mean Mr. Alfred." Ella was still being polite.

"Just call me Alfred, really. Please, don't same me with Edward." Said, Alfred.

"Before, I really didn't know what they were doing. But after I pressed them, and found out what they had done. It was very embarrassing for the Lewis family."

"And take it easy, I'm punishing them. Also with George." Alfred continued his explanation.

Ella took out three cellphones from her bag, then put them on the table. Alfred was immediately stunned looking at him.

"Is it because of these three things?" Asked Ella coldly.

"Don't worry, I have erased all the inappropriate things. I wanted to give it back today. Too bad, George didn't come into school." Ella watched Alfred who had picked up one of the cellphones.

"But a coincidence, you came. So I can leave it with you, and not have to bother to keep carrying it." Ella quipped.

"Where are you going?" Alfred asked confused because Ella was getting ready to go.

"I have to work, you know I'm a servant in the Huxley family. I have a lot of work to do." Ella said curtly.

"So ... Aren't you going to sue for compensation or not going to prolong this matter?" Alfred asked again.

Ella stared in confusion, while she had slung her bag on the side of her waist.

"What, for? Instead of you busy worrying about me, you better educate your brother to be a more useful person. I'm confused, why do people like you always do something useless ... Ahh ... because you think money will solve everything the problem, right? " Ella sarcastically returned.

"Sorry, that's not what I meant," Alfred replied.

But Ella seemed indifferent, she casually and without feeling guilty. Immediately leaving Alfred, because she was still upset with the incident last Friday night.
