High above in planetary orbit, Aiden was alone in the ship's main deck staring out at the giant planet, with a recording program prompt set up. Laura was busy, which was a rare occurrence but there were other important matters that needed to be check up on, namely the ship, originally she had done a simple scan skimming through the ship's programs and operating systems, now she is able to use this time to do a thorough sweep.

It was Aiden and the ship, pathfinder, All peaceful and quiet for the both of them.

"it's been... what? 4? 5 rotations now?" He let out a discomforting sigh.

Each rotation is similar to the 24-hour long day and night cycle on the planet's surface.

(" It's been almost a week since my escape... and I still have trouble with getting used to my new life. ")

He presses a few buttons on a keypad that brought up the Seeker video feed.

(" One positive thing is that the recon the seeker drones are collecting a lot of useful information. ")

Within the passing days, the recon drones had taken almost half a thousand photos, recorded and catalog many types of creatures mainly on the planet's surface levels. Ranging from small adorable animals to large armor beasts that roam the land.

There was even almost a run-in with one of the native flying animals, when seeker 4 was flying around its area but the crisis was successfully averted.

The drones had picked up different separate civilization entities, with different physical make-up, each with their own unique language. For the humans he first encounters he was still piecing their language together, trying to understanding what could they mean.

(" I think I should get back to work now. ") He lifts up a finger and pushes a button to begin voice recording.

"Dr. Aiden research note number 2... update"

"Phase 1 of the plan was a success, all 6 seekers drone have been deploy onto the planet and is still gathering intel, as I speak."

"Initiate reconnaissance of the planet dub..." He mutters " leaving that blank, until I learn the actual name of this planet from the inhabitants."

"Going back to what I was trying to say, Initiate reconnaissance and scans of the planet atmosphere, shows signs that it is capable of hosting human life."

"Though an error had come upon seeker 3, atmospheric and chemicals analyzing equipment which detected a new type of energy particles." Then he pauses.

"Scratch that." He was looking over at a screen display with the Alpha and Beta energy particles pattern. "More of a sub-variant of Alpha particles, That I label Beta." Then he looks back at the planet.

"Another important pressing matter is that my 2nd theory of intelligent life forms was correct, with a surprising fact, there is not one but multiple intelligent species."

"one of the intelligent species is hu- No they resemble humans biologically on the outside, their internal muscle and bone structure, cellular makeup, could all be different from my own."

"One thing I notice is how this reality compares to my reality medieval age and the scientific knowledge, the humans of this reality are surprisingly... clean and old... even for the low-class society of peasantry."

"Though there is one major common thing among all of these races, is their ability to manipulate Beta particles that allows them to do supernatural things... lift up rocks almost 4 times their sizes... produce water and fire out of thin air."

"Though it seems like there are a skill difference and mastery."

"Aside note I could add is that the planet animals, some of them range from large to small, and extremely dangerous to safe, and they are also able to use beta particles to a certain extent."

"I also have discovered a few locations that would be a good place to land the pathfinder, and hide it."

"end of research log number 2."

He pushes the same button that started the recording to end it, making the room silent once more.

(" I wish I was in my home... with all of my ancient relics and artifacts. ")

It was only few years before the surge had come to Aiden's reality, he was in his home researching and cataloging some old ancient equipment that was dig up on a barren planet and the equipment predated any known galactic civilization at the time.

This excited him, and he spent almost two whole nights without any sleep, from the large number of things that were dug up.

He imagines himself in his little workshop, with many different kinds of relics of the past lay out in front of him. This brought a smile to his face, he tries reaching out for one, but his hand faded through the object.

He would stare at that hand and try to say something but it feels like his words and mouth both betray him. He couldn't muster the strength to say anything.

A quiet beeping sounded off in the helm, knocking Aiden out of his weird trance, the alert was coming from Seeker 3.

[ Seeker 3 ] "Status update, I have encountered a conflict between a small group of humans and some hostile creatures... Orders?"

The camera feed was showing the scene in real time, what he saw was people wearing metal armor who were using melee weapons, and a few others wearing all fabric clothing using range weapons. The drone was high above the battle a few hundred meters up, with the camera zoom in.

There was a total of 6 of them 4 male and 2 female, 2 of them were swordsman 1 was a rogue, 1 was an archer and the 2 remaining ones were mages. Though currently, Aiden doesn't recognize those 2 as mages, not until he learns about them.

The situation they were in was a dire one, both the rogue and one of the mages were badly injured and both of the swordsmen was getting tired and the archer was starting to run out of arrows, the last mage had four magic circles floating around them, frantically chanting away.

The creature's appearance was a mix of a panther and a fox, and there were 4 of them, with another 6 lying dead on the ground.

(" Should I help them?... Do I really need to help them? can I even help them in the first place? ") Seeing people that resemble humans that were caught in a troubling situation causes him to feel pity over, and a small growing desire to help.

(" But this ship and the drones doesn't have weapons I can use ")

(" What's the point of even thinking about this? ")

Another creature went down leaving only 3 left but the archer had finally run out of arrows to use, and back up to the mage, He could see their mouths moving and shouting at each other.

(" Should I just leave it up to them? there only 3 left ")

(" But if I try to help them in any way, I could arouse suspicion... ")

One of the creature manage to land a good hit on one of the swordsmen making them falter in battle, but they could still fight with the handicap.

(" ..... ") "Ah screw it! If I'm not able to save humans of this reality, how could I save humans in my reality" He slaps himself in the face and holds down a button.

"Seeker 3, you are to descend from your current position to the coordinates I'll soon provide, then you will receive further instructions afterward." He rapidly began to type on the keypad sending the data coordinates over to the drone.

[ Seeker 3 ] "Orders acknowledge... descending altitude, standby."

Presently in the fight.

"Watch out!" One of the swordsmen swung their swords at the third creature who was going after the injured one.

They were able to cut them down in one swing but this left an opening for another creature to pounce onto them, making them fall onto their back while they try to hold back the animal with their sword.

"Fuck!" He screams out.

The other one that had occupied the injured swordsman had switch their attention to the archer and mage who was currently busy.

"Oh no, you don't!" The female swordsman who was injured sluggishly swing her sword at the animal, but the creature dodges the attack and bypasses them. Now it was rushing over to the archer the mage.

"Watch out!" She reaches out toward them and screams at her fellow party members.

Both of them were frightened at how fast the creature was approaching them, once they were in the pouncing distance it jumps up in the air which leaves it expose for an attack.

(" Holy shit! ") The archer thought to himself

A faint sounds of her engines came to their ears, as a metallic box came flying down from the sky and abruptly stop in midair, everyone was too focused on the creature to notice this. The box would then blast forward slamming into the side of the creature.

The creature yelp in pain from the newcomer in the battle, as it was sent flying to a tree, crashing hard into it.

(" It made it in time! ") Aiden was gleeful as he thrust a fist into the air.

The swordsman who was pin down by the last remaining creature was soon dealt with, only to see his party members gazing at a metallic box, with flames coming out of it.

(" What the hell is that? ") He thought to himself.

"Has anyone ever seen anything like that before?" He shouted.

"Never in my entire life" The archer replied.

"We know that it just helps us out." The female swordsman spoke.

"What even is it?" The female mage had stop her spell when the box suddenly came out of nowhere.

She was cautiously approaching the box. Before she could even touch it the jet engines rotated their angle again, having them pointed downward as it blasted up and flew away, the mage fell on her butt from this.

"W-what the hell..." She said while shock.

"That thing is fast!" The male swordsman exclaimed

"Do you think we should report this to the guild?" The archer ask.

"I think so." The female replied while looking up at the air.
