(Embarkment)

The ship began its trip down to the planet's surface, rapidly entering the highest layer of the atmosphere, the exosphere, and going further down to the thermosphere, the ship started to rattle and shake immensely from the outer pressure and vibrations pushing against the ship hull.

"Approaching the mesosphere in 5, 4, 3, 2" Warning symbols show up on the main deck, the bottom area of the ship was getting hotter and hotter as they make their way down. "1, we have entered the mesosphere."

His heart started to pound faster as he saw the hot red heat strokes come around from below the ship hull, through the glass panels. (" Come on, Come on! You better not break apart! ")

"Alert." Laura jolted her head in a random direction, her eyes flicker at receiving some information. "Pathfinder outer hull on the bottom of the ship is reaching critical temperatures."

"What?!" Aiden screamed at Laura "Will the outer hull last long until we can make it through the mesosphere?" Aiden question like his life is on the line.

Laura took a few seconds to calculate the results and nodded with confidence. "The ship outer hull will be able to withstand the high temperatures, but Sir."

"But what? What's the end result?"

"we will be able to arrive at our target location, but we will have to perform some complex and extensive repairs on the ship's outer hull in the future, from the damage it took." She said.

Hearing that he could survive the entry was good enough, and having the matter of the ship needing to be repaired is something else that he could deal with in the future. For now, he had a crazy smile on his face, while he is still being shoved around sitting in the chair.

"I'll take care of that when we have the facilities and the equipment to start the repairs."

Moments later the red heat strokes that came below the ship began to fade away as the ship went past the mesosphere and was now entering the stratosphere. Now both Aiden and Laura were able to see the white clouds that blanket the skies, the blue pearl color of the horizon of the world, at a much closer point.

"Temperatures below are now decreasing to a safe level, and the shaking has stopped." Laura said with a smile

"Oh thank god~" Feeling exhausted from the amount of shaking and gripping onto the chair, he could finally relax his body and his mind.

He was now able to safely walk on the main deck, first, he adjusted his glasses and got up from the chair, and approach the front window. He places a hand on the glass window and just views out at the new world he is going to call home, sooner or later.

"How much longer until we get to land this land?" ask Aiden.

"Time of arrival will be another 10 minutes." Laura replied.

(" 10 minutes until I can actually stand on solid ground... ") He returns his gaze back at the planet.

His imagination started to run amok of the first things he could do when both of his feet touch the solid-filled grass and dirt ground. He could see him rolling around the floor and giving it a long kiss, or run around like a kid on a break from school and was enjoying playing in the outdoors. Aiden was either stuck in a spaceship or in a space station for the past few years, transferring from one sector of space to the next, to avoid being killed by the surge.

He hadn't felt the touch of dirt and grass in ages, just only hard cold metal floors between his feet.

He walks back to the captain's chair and he sat himself down, preparing himself to see the long-awaited ground.

"were exiting from the stratosphere and now entering the troposphere." Said Laura.

Everything was smooth sailing, leaving the stratosphere and then entering the troposphere, nothing should go wrong with that. Laura noticed a slight change in the energy particles around them like they became even more energized out of no reason.

"Alert, unknown cause of beta particles to have an increase of activity." Seconds later when Laura said this, both an electrical wave pulse and a sound boom blasted away from the ship in all directions, causing the interior to shake uncontrollably again.

"status report!" Demand Aiden.

"All compartments are reporting back normal, all systems are still functional." Responded Laura.

"N-nothing is broken?" Aiden curiously said as he picks himself off the floor.

"Nothing is broken, everything is in working order."

(" What the hell was that then? ") Aiden questions the chaotic nature of the beta particles and what could have cause it to have a sudden spike of activity.

(" Was this cause by the ship? But how though? ") So many questions and no one to give him answers for, he sat down on the chair again and was rubbing his hair.

He tilts his head back up at Laura. "Keep a note of what just happen, and catalog it, I want a note taken every time something new comes up with the Beta particles."

Laura nodded and proceed to do just that, she cataloged the sudden experience they recently encounter into the ship databanks. What was the meaning behind the sudden electrical pulse and the sound boom? That is something that Aiden will have to found out on his own until he can get to that point.

They finally made it past the clouds and were flying in a single direction, away from any lifeform that was detected miles away, to make sure that no one knew of their existence just yet.

"Have you come up with a name for the base?" Laura stood beside him and was interested to know if he even has a name in the first place.

"I'll call it..." His eyes darted around the helm, as his mind began to wander through all the different name ideas he could think of.

"Frontier Vanguard base or FVB, cause like... If the surge ever shows up here, this place will be the main vanguard to fight them on this planet." He said.

Laura would quickly input the name to the designated coordinates of their landing site, and catalog this new information coming from Aiden. "Information inputted and stored."

The mountains they have seen from seeker 3 camera soon came up into visible view, the circular pattern of the mountain valley shape. Making the inner part wide and open for a hidden base to be constructed. The ship flew over and the mountain range and hovers in the general center of the area.

"Beginning landing process and deploying landing gear."

The ship slowly makes its way down to the ground, and then silently sat on top of the ground. The engines would turn off and a gate on the side of the ship opens up and starts deploying a ramp down to the ground.

"How I miss this." Said Aiden standing behind the gate and looking out at the clear day, the trees, the lush grass, and the mountains in the background.

He took this nice peaceful moment to enjoy himself, and to take a full gulp of clean refreshing Air and not the process and filtered Air on the ship.

Past the mountains, and past the lands surrounding the mountains, further, than the continent, Aiden is on. In a different continent was a building like no other, a holy city of sorts and a massive temple in the center with high towers representing its glory, compared to the rest of the city.

Inside the temple had a large sphere shape suspended in the air by a magical contraption.

A lone person stands in the huge room, gazing at the globe, lock in that place where they stood. They had armor of the highest quality and the highest enchants, their face was mostly covered by a helmet.

Footsteps echoed behind them. A messenger approached the person standing alone and kneel down.

"Master, *Distorted noises* you have been called for a summit."

"Thank you, you may leave."

The messenger stood back up and bows then left the person alone. Their eyes were fixed on a certain area of the globe, then they turn around and walked away from the floating sphere.
