I skip down the steps and towards the dining hall where breakfast will soon be waiting. My comfy, (f/c) gown flows a bit behind me as I rush through the empty hall. It's a bit early, but I couldn't sleep a wink and was dying for something to eat. Hopefully food was ready by now, I didn't want to have rushed down here for nothing.
As I reach the end of the stairs, I come to a halt as I find him waiting there. The only one in the room other than now me. "Hey Issa," I casually greet him as I slowly approach the boy.
His head jerks up, a bit surprised to see anyone else here so early, before his features settled into a smile as he raises his brow at me. "Seems we meet again, fish girl."
"(y/n)," I correct.
He acts as if he hadn't heard me as he continues, "You wouldn't be stalking me, would you? It's strange how often we run into each other. Unless.. maybe it's fate?" I fangirl a bit internally, he looked so gorgeous I'm nearly at a loss of words.
"You wish," I spit out, "I'm only here for breakfast."
"How straightforward. You going to drag me into a pool and suck out my life?" He plays all dramatic before winking at me, "I wouldn't put it past you. It's not like I haven't considered it before."
I raise my brow at him, "'Considered it? Considered what?" He pretends to not have said anything, but I wasn't letting this go. "Isn't it a bit unfair that you know my identity, but I don't know yours?" I glance around the room, "No one else is around yet. Besides, I'm curious as to why else you're so persistent on avoiding a swim with me." His smile disappears, and he tugs me into an empty room, shutting the door behind us. "What are you?" I start before he shushes me.
"The rules say I can't tell you my monster identity, but I think I can clue you in." It probably wasn't the best to stay in here, alone, with him. But curiosity got the better of me. I stay caged between his arms in the darkness, neither of us saying anything for a moment. He brings his eyes down to my shoulder and grabs a hold on my arm, his warm breath trailing across my open neck. As something sharp digs into the flesh I let out a quiet whine, quickly getting the idea. Now it starts to make sense. From some of the subtle jokes he made to why he turned down my invitation. Especially why he'd stayed so far from the pool that afternoon.
"A vampire, huh," I comment as he pulls away, licking his lips. I wish I could see the look on his face right now, probably as confident and teasing as ever. But I guess I should've just been happy he couldn't see mine.
He hums in response running a gentle hand through my (h/c) locks. "I'm surprised you didn't figure it out earlier." He trails his finger down my neck and shoulder until he holds my hand in his. "You did look quite lovely that afternoon though. I can't say I wasn't tempted to dive into the water with you."
"Really now?" I smile, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Yes," he whispers, closing the gap between us as those sweet lips of his meet mine.
I happily kiss back, but it isn't long before he pulls away, his hand reaching for the door. "I don't know if I can stand another moment in here with you, without losing control." Pushing the door open he glances back at me with those beautiful dark orbs as he heads out the door, "I'll see you around.. (y/n)."
As we head out and part it doesn't take long for Ageha to see me. She runs up to me, wrapping her arm around me as she gives me a suggestive smirk. "Do you have something you want to tell me?"
Tsurara appears by my side, pulling her lollipop out from between her lips. "I could tell you." I flinched at that. Now here was our beloved stalker, how could I forget?
"It's not like there's anything to tell.." I try to avoid this conversation, but I know they won't let me go now. I just knew I was feeling better than ever.
