The emperor's family.

Ethan and I entered the dining room. We followed after Tina, she was leading us the way. 

Mona was also there with us. Suspiciously the empress allowed Mona to accomplish us. 

When we got in the royal dining room, lavishness made my eyes blind. Compared to our room, it was much more glorious. Golden light was dancing in every corner of it. From floor to top everything was luxurious.

Such a Magnificent place. 

Honestly, It was far from my capacity to count how much wealth that place held, it was a curtain, even a small thing worth millions.  

There was still some matter to deal with. I can't stay in a daze for a long time. Hence, I blinked several times to distract my mind.

After getting my senses back, I looked at the people who were present there. They are the people with haughty aura and attractive personalities.

The emperor, Sabellian III. He was blessed with three legal wives and eight childrens.  

First wife, the empress Adele Lewis. Princess of earls dukedom. Grand duke Raven Lewis's daughter. 

Adele Lewis has two sons and a daughter.  First son is Harley and her second son is Connor. Her third child is Evie. Harley is the crown prince. It had been a month since he came back from  the North.

Second wife, Darla Morgan. Youngest daughter of duke Matthew Morgan. Darla has a son and two daughters. Her first daughter is Victoria and second daughter is Veronica. James is her youngest son. 

Third wife, Isabella Evans, the one and only daughter of Marquess Joseph Evans. She has a daughter, Sophie and a son Lucus. 

I stared at everyone with a curious expression. It was my first time seeing them. Before this encounter I only knew their names. 

I'm aware of their name and relationship because of Mona. Actually she is my only informant who reports to me everything that's going on in the palace. 

After looking at them for a while, I discerned that what Mona told me was correct. Her words were on the mark. Their outer appearance and aura was exactly the same as Mona described.  

Like I was scrutinizing them, they were looking at us as if  they were reading our each gesture.  When I realised this I retracted my gaze. 

However it was too late. I could feel their sharp  gloat. Under their intense sight I feel that I would have shitted on many pieces if only one could die because of it. 

I raised my head and looked at them again. Here after I descry, I was the only one who was in a tight spot. Maybe it was targeted by them because of my appearance. 

Golden eyes and golden hair were the symbol of the royal family. Apart from the royal family, nobody had golden eyes and hair. 

For a moment if only the tag of illegitimate could be removed from Ethan's head, then he would be a respectful and influential prince of this kingdom. 

But as for me, even if that tag removed from my head, still I would have to face discrimination because of my dark hair and eyes. 

Moreover commonner had light brown hair in this country. 

All of sudden a melodious voice resounded. 

"Tina." That sweet voice belonged to the empress who was sitting right next to the emperor's seat. 

"Yeah! Her highness." Tina politely replied while bowing her head a little. 

"I want an explanation over your recent behaviour. Why were you making noise outside?" 

The empress didn't even look at Tina. Her long eyelids were looking down. Her all attention was on the bangle which she was wearing on her right hand. She was playing with it. 

"Her Highness, forgive my rudeness. I was only discussing some basic manners with the sixth prince and princess so that they don't cause any trouble." Tina replied. She was still bowing her head.

"OH My! Since when one started calling 'scolding' to 'discussing'? " Abruptly Isabella spoke up. There was a small smile on her face. Her voice was also too soft, no one could say that she was mocking Tina and the empress. 

The empress's hand stopped as soon as Isabella's voice resounded. She raised her head and looked at Isabella. 

As I noticed the empress' face I was taken aback.  She had long silver hair. Her small round face, big forehead and sharp nose were really beautiful. 

Her big green eyes were staring at Darla. Her pouty lips were wearing a small smile.

No wonder, she is the empress of this country. 

She had a strong but scenic aura around her. 

To tell the truth, it was not only the empress, Darla and Isabella were also beautiful. Isabella has pink hair and clear features. She has a mole above her upper lips which makes her smile really attractive.

Darla has purple hair.  She wasn't only famous for her beauty but also her sword skills. Once she was a noted swordsman. She even led an army corps. 

Looking at the three of them, I could say the emperor has picked the most beautiful and talented flowers. What a shrewd person. 

"Third sister, Don't twist the words just Say it clearly" The empress said with a grin. 

Isabella also returned a smile then responded. "First sister, Don't mind my words. I'm only curious how a maid qualified to lecture a prince with such an arrogant tone. Please, Don't take it as a taunt."

Adele blinked her eyes gracefully. With her unchanged smile She suggested. "It seemed like the third sister really felt sorry for them. Why don't you tell the emperor directly that under my care the sixth prince and princess are mistreated. If you do so, then I am sure he will transfer their custody to you. After that you can treat them with care and love. "
