Chapter 33: I-Island

~Third POV~

Meanwhile on a plane ride to I-Island a large muscular and busty lade wearing her hero costume could only look on as she grins at the sight, "So this is the great I-Island, right? Guess it's our turn to guard the place from the UN huh?

The person that was driving the plane could only speak through the speakers in the plane as he spoke politely to her in the passenger seat, "Yes madam, it came from the top states and the officials of the UN. It was America's turn to send in their heroes guarding the place with all the others as well number 1. Although it might be to save some face considering you lost to Iron Man a few weeks back."

The lady in question smiles before she grumbles at the mention of Iron Man as she ponders to herself while relaxing while remembering that day that changed her life forever in the past, "Yeah if my memory serves me right David Shields was my master old partner… I remember them perfectly I guess it's time I thank them for rescuing me that long time ago."

The pilot laughs at this as he says to her in the speaker, "Haha… whatever you say Stars and Stripes, but we will be landing shortly."

She smiles as she wants to see David Shields and properly thank him for saving her life as a kid.

Onboard inside a private plane towards an island where Jason, Manami, and Fuyumi going towards a secured location as Jason observes everything from the window viewing the wide-open ocean sea.

Jason took that moment to grin as he thanked Fuyumi for the opportunity, "I have to admit you in inviting your friends here is grateful Fuyumi. I-Island never thought I would see myself going into that place."

Manami was also looking at the skies enjoying her view as she also pipped in her comments on the free trip, "Yeah Fuyumi I didn't expect to be going to I-Island either for a whole week. This will be an interesting experience. Also thank you again for the trip."

Fuyumi only laughs nervously for the thanks as she responds to the two, "Haha… I guess but honestly, I wouldn't have accepted the invitation for a fundraiser but frankly, you know my father is always busy with hero work. But with the sudden cases against him as well as the already paid trip here I thought I needed something to get away from reality for a bit."

After that, she clears her throat as she gave the two another reason why she was chosen instead of her father, "When he asked if I would volunteer in his place for an event, I would've refused at the time but knowing that I was the only option since my two other brothers don't like him, I was the only option left as he's busy trying to hunt down Iron Man in Japan since it was his last sightings of him but I guess his concerns would be the legal court system now."

Jason on his part innocently glances the other way looking not suspicious to anyone nearby while Manami just nods her head in agreement as she spoke, "Yeah Iron Man has been creating multiple waves especially with the latest stunts from the Twitter account along with actual video footage. Although I found it funny that he called the crazy cultist smurf he technically saved the world by complete accident according to his username FuckU."

Fuyumi claps her hands together as she spoke positively of her joy bringing her two friend's attention towards her, "Ignoring the news of Iron Man media aside I'm just glad that the people in I-Island allowed me to have some guest over during our stay at I-Island hotel. I will be frank I was nervous to be the person to go but with you two here it does calm my nerves for the weeklong trip."

Jason smirks at that comment as he spoke out in a grateful tone while he places his shoulder on the chair, "Yeah, and seriously though thanks for inviting us on the island. I heard I-Island is home to many brilliant minds around the globe living on the metal island. They are supposed to be busy researching quirks."

Fuyumi nodded at this as she informs the two of them more information about the island they were heading towards, "Yes that is correct they do research quirks. However, they also get support from every support gear company in the world to further their research for society. As well as we're entering the I-Expo to show support."

Manami also took that moment to say her piece to the conversation with excitement in her voice, "Yeah! These people here are what makes the support and other technological advancements to our current day society. They are filled with gifted minds from all over always scouting any potential brilliant mind to join them. Actually…"

Taking her glance towards Jason he looked at her with confusion till she finally spoke out her thoughts, "Jason, how didn't you get scouted from I-Island? With your brilliant mind, I would've thought they have at least recruited you. I mean you did pass the Fuyumi test when she taught you right even the college courses?"

Fuyumi for her part could only express a bitter expression as she was reminded of the time teaching Jason only to bite her in the ass, "Please Manami I don't want to even be reminded of his practical talent. It only took him literal seconds to complete all that I prepared to teach him and when I tried to teach him a lesson with rigged higher grade education questions with university and college questions, he still passed it too…"

Slumping her shoulders down with a defeated expression now shown on her face as she spoke in a despairing tone, "The only thing he was missing on was history but even then, it took him at least 3 or 4 days for him to memorize the entire eras and subjects on history."

Jason for his part acted embarrassed by that as he thought to himself, 'Not I would've been done in 2 days but I felt like taking my time reading the history of this world. That I also saw you despairing hard.'

Returning to the earlier topic to Manami Jason clears his throat as he honestly lies to her his answer, "To be completely honest with you… they probably missed me when I started going on my trip around the globe and the fact that I was no longer in the school system. But hey you chose what to believe."

Before Manami or anyone else could speak they heard the speaker from their pilot as he spoke out, "Now arriving towards our destination. I-Island will be shown just ahead, passengers."

Everyone took a look at the island as they were impressed by the sheer beauty of the island as well as the view from above.

I-Island is completely artificial and mostly built from iron. However, the island comes complete with four different cities separated by large bodies of water and natural foliage.

There are beautiful beaches, great lakes, and incredible cities to be explored. The island has a residential district, a business district, and schools. The island can only be accessed via plane by entering through the airport.

I-Island is an artificial moving island inhabited by over ten thousand scientists researching Quirks.

Every company in the world involved with the Pro Hero business invested money to create a technological paradise for the research and development of Quirks and support items. I-Island is an artificial moving island created for scientists to peacefully research together.

Thousands of scientists and their families inhabit the island's main cities. Scientists primarily research the Quirk phenomenon and develop tools to support Pro Heroes.

The island was created to gather the world's top researchers to a safe place where their combined talents could study Quirks.

There are several countermeasures in place to prevent criminal incidents. The island's security system is on par with that of Tartarus Prison, many of its structures are built sturdier than bomb shelters, and scientists cannot leave the island to ensure confidentiality.

I-Island is also home to the famous I-Expo, a city-wide event that showcases all the island's technological advancements. Pro Heroes are invited by the event sponsors and people are permitted to use their Quirks in public.

The only way to enter I-Island is by plane to its airport, located on the outer ring of the island. Several planes from various airlines bring people to and from the island. Various gates can be used to board planes. Anyone coming in from the outside must pass a security inspection in the airport.

Just as Jason and friends finally got off their plane and have gone through the proper inspections, they were all now inside the island to which was magnificent with every advanced technological building and advanced machinery showed.

Observing everything for the first time on I-Island Jason was ecstatic to see this place in person as his grin was to signify that, "Whoa! This place is just… like wow…"

Fuyumi laughs at this as she goes forward as she hands Jason a key card as she explains to him while taking Manami with her, "Here Jason this key card will allow you to access the most that I-Island will have to offer as well as information where our hotel room is at. I already booked two one for the girls and one for yourself for obvious reasons."

Jason nodded at this as Fuyumi and Manami began to take their belongings that are carried by the security robots of I-Island as she talks to Jason before they left, "Also another thing that key card will be your way to pay for most things from my father agency so you can spend some cash for food and other souvenirs. Just don't go overboard till then have fun leave the boring stuff to the adults."

Manami could only pout her face as she nodded her head as she also spoke to Jason before she left with Fuyumi, "Hmph. Ok, Jason make try to stay out of trouble and have fun! Will meet again at the hotel dining room! Take care!"

With that, they left the area leaving Jason all by himself as he blinks at the scene as then spoke to himself, "Huh? Guess I'm left alone to do what I want. Since that's the case I might as well explore what this place has to offer."

Jason then left to explore the area as he observes the key card he got from Fuyumi as he asked Alter Ego in his thoughts, 'Alter Ego I-Island should have all kinds of research and information that is advanced in this world. During the week I want you to hack their systems and copy all-important research and experimental documents inside this island. Can you do it?'

While walking around the area he got his response as soon as he spoke to Alter Ego, 'Hmm… it should be possible for me to collect the data, sir. However, the security and firewalls of the system here are far more advanced than I am it's almost impressive that it might take me some time to collect everything valuable here.'

Hearing that response Jason scrunches up his face as he knew that the advanced technology here should be below, equal, or above to the Danganronpa world technology so he knew there should be some difficulties if he collected information from one of the most safeguarded areas in the world.

Sighing at this Jason finally responded to his A.I. in a conflicted tone, 'Sigh… very well then just collect what you can. I don't need this island to be on the guard of a hacker entering this place just to have myself get screwed over.'

Alter Ego recognizing the response then began to talk back before leaving through the internet to infiltrate I-Island defenses, 'Very well sir I'll see what I can manage to collect. Till then you're on your own for the time being but I will check on you from time to time. Now then hope you enjoy your week sir.'

With that Jason was alone now viewing everything that the island has to offer with a grin on his face as he proceeded to move forward.

"Flight ******* has just arrived now proceed to land at the airport!"

Somewhere else along the same time another plane has stopped as the passengers inside were consisted of 8 people all wearing the normal uniform as they exit out from the plane witnessing I-Island for the first time.

Nine witnessing the airport quickly took a glance at everything as he observes the area, "So this the fabled I-Island? The moveable artificial island with the brilliant minds all working to research quirk origins and more support gear."

Wolfram could only grunt at his response as he observes the area as well as he spoke his own words, "Yeah, yeah I get it your science experiment. We already know that much now what we do next to get a feel for our surroundings to see and plan."

Nine's crew Kiruka Hasaki known as Slice, Chojuro Kon the Chimera, and finally Hoyo Makihara the Mummy didn't take Wolfram's response that well insulting their leader.

Before they could even fight or argue it out Nine raises his hand on them signifying to stop as he responds to them, "Not worry friends what he says is correct. He is strong after all as we know our ideal world would need people like him in the future. Now as for our objective I agree with Wolfram that we need to survey the area for potential dangers lying ahead of us no?"

Wolfram could only grin at Nine agreeing with him on that subject as they all left the area with their suitcases that the robots were lifting their luggage around.

Meanwhile, Nine has already started to observe the area as he began to use the quirk he got from AFO to help him achieve his ideal world where the strong will rule over the weak or no powers.

During his life, Nine has become disturbed by the world's hierarchy of authority, which he considered flawed, as it's one where the weak rule the strong.

Because of this flaw he wants to create a world where those with strong powers rule over those with weak or no powers he would try to make his dreams and his fellow companions come true.

allows Nine to search for and identify people's Quirks to some extent, as well as to measure their level of power using a heat signature-like vision, which is displayed when it detects the power levels of others.

While observing everything from his eyes he managed to see a very powerful heat signature as it was bright red as he comments on it, 'Interesting… there seems to be a powerful person here… is he the rat I'm looking for?'
