Chapter 88: Creators Love
~Jason POV~
With everyone now properly buried as payment for their stuff, I have to admit the church of this place, as well as the tools, looked very helpful.
From raiding inside the homes I managed to find some stuff that is useful for me or more specifically the books that the home base of the Holy Knights library as I took my time to fast read all of them.
There were some subjects that I lack in understanding in but I get the gest of it. The magic books are more or less the basics of the elements but sadly though I got the elements as the elements light and dark are only related to the Goddess, Demon, and Vampire Clans.
But it's the fact that how they used magic is different from the rest.
In one of the texts of the book on how to use magic as it describes Power... it draws its source from one's strong will, belief, and experience.
The power resides within the body itself even though the catalyst to awaken one's power is unknown; the former being supported by the Holy Knights' beliefs that their bodies are imbued with 'magic that transcends human knowledge.'
But if you put it into simple terms it gives the user their unique power-up in magic terms that fits the user. It makes a lot if you know the trivia facts about the characters as they give you an understanding of what they can do based on their traits.
Most, if not all of the magical powers' effects closely resemble their users' traits and personalities like Ban's
Each of those guys' powers is based on something about them but if that is the case what is exactly mine then?
It could be practically anything considering my talent as well as the other abilities I have taken or used.
And for humanity case they are pretty much completely random of which one they get but for now, though I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Still, though some of the magic books they contained did help give something of a hint of using their own is going on the lines on using their belief or quite possibly using their willpower to bring the power they learned to harness the magic power.
Sadly though any Holy knights that were here are long gone by now considering the attack by the demons wiped them out from this place so I can't do anything about that but there was something I found that is more than extremely valuable than any magic this world has to offer…
Although I'm more curious or afraid to go meet this being…
The Lady of the Lake.
In old-time past, it was described to be a lake located from the west of here taking no less than a few days to travel to meet an ancient but mystical lady that lives in the lake giving travelers what they want to hear as well as gift them with items that are used to help humans specifically as the lady favors them or any other race.
The reason why is that when a Fairy, Giant, Demon, Vampire, Beastman, and Goddess ever appear at the lake of Sailsbury the lady never appears before them only to humanity it favors its knowledge or gifts.
But with my Meta Knowledge, I already know who this person was created by the true God of this world as it would only be Chaos itself.
At some point, Chaos created the Lady of the Lake within Lake Salisbury for unknown reasons.
According to the legend, the Lady of the Lake bestowed the sword
Chaos is an ancient entity that created the world, the gods, and the five races from nothingness.
It is described even by Merlin as "an impure entity of darkness that even the Demons fear and a pure entity of light that even the Goddesses worship".
After being sealed by the Demon King and Supreme Deity, it came to exist within a transient form known in the legends as the Mother of Chaos, with all monsters being born from her.
Said to be born amidst ancient stars that were very far away, Chaos first created the world before creating the Supreme Deity and the Demon King, and later the Sacred Tree as its third "offspring", who would go on to create their realms and the first three races of the Goddesses, Demons, and Fairies.
Afterward, it created the Giants as the fourth race but was disappointed with them because they were extremely savage and slaves to their power who knew nothing other than inflicting pain on each other.
It then decided to create Humans by putting all feelings, positive and negative, into them: kindness and malice, bravery and cowardice, love and hatred, beauty and beastliness. Although incomplete, they were the perfect race that came closest to it.
The Supreme Deity and the Demon King were filled with both jealousy and apprehension of Chaos, fearing that the love and respect that their races had for them would be stolen by their creator.
Thus, the two gods joined together and sealed Chaos away, allowing them to be the two rulers of the world and believed to be the most powerful entities in existence.
Yet, due to Chaos not being a physical entity, it was not truly sealed. It came to exist within a moss shell that would be known as the Mother of Chaos and, later, Hawk Mama.
At some point, it created both the Lady of the Lake and Cath Palug, an entity trapped within Lake Salisbury, and a creature who is a cluster of the destructive will be wrought from Chaos, who desired to make its creator's power for itself as it believed itself to be the rightful "King of Chaos", so it could use its power to destroy everything that Chaos had wrought; yet was easily defeated.
Eventually, Chaos had chosen Arthur Pendragon to be the rightful "King of Chaos" and to inherit its power for whatever he wished to use it for, believing him to be a proper host.
Chaos huh?
If there was any god in this world that favored the human race then it would be that one.
Chaos and humanity go hand in hand.
The humanity that is followed by the Goddess is not a humanity that is always going to be successful and in control of things, but humanity that can reach out its hand from the depth of chaos, to be touched by the hand of God.
Chaos was the law of nature; Order was the dream of man.
Laughing at those quotes I can't help but laugh at how true these quotes are in this world as I laughed at the current ones in control, "Hahahaha! I can't help that's funny! The two strongest forces of demons and goddesses can't hope to beat Chaos even with their so-called power. Chaos is Law and one can't beat it with power that chaos gave them."
While I was laughing at the cruelty of this world Demon King and Goddess Aiba then responded to me as she brought herself out in her hologram form as she spoke in a curious tone, "Sir? Why exactly are you laughing about the order of this world?"
Smirking at Aiba I merely responded in a knowing tone that to her she looked more confused as I talked to Aiba, "Nothing it's just that what I found funny is that Chaos favors humans than his other creations. I just find it funny how the other races more specifically the Demon and Goddess will NEVER get their creator's love. I find it funny in a sense they are trying to beat up their creator by sealing Chaos when in reality Chaos isn't sealed."
Closing the book as I took a look at the glass pictures of the Goddess Clan and Demons fighting, I aimed as my bracelet charged a repulsor blaster and…
*Pew*
*Crack*
That was when I shot out the blast of condensed repulsor energy as I responded to Aiba with a happy tone to match my mood, "I just find it funny that the two most powerful beings in this world are acting like children while Chaos isn't gone. It's an ideal and those can't be destroyed no matter how many times they try to subdue them. Chaos will always favor the humans as we are the best or closest representation of Chaos itself in a way."
With the glass shattering down I began to get out of this place as the location of the Lady of the Lake was within the contents of this church. Although it did raise the question of how this village obtained such contents.
But then again, I can't exactly bring them from the dead although the Seraph of the End Taboo told me how it's not worth the risk but not like I can get much out of them since they are dead.
Then again what I got as payment for burying their bodies is more than enough for me to start collecting their valuables of magic books, smithing magic swords manuals from the blacksmith's homes of the Holy Knights, and certainly a good amount of Gold Coins to use as payment.
At least I'm not that heartless I'm just reasoning my justification of looting from the dead while burying them…
That was when Aiba appeared again with a raised eyebrow as she spoke to me with a deadpan expression, "Sure sir. Although where should we head to know? We have two options the capital of magic Belialuin or head towards our newest direction from the book location Lake Sailsbury."
That is a good question…
Hmm…
Taking things into account of our new location there isn't anything stopping me plus I have the time to check the magic capital later so I guess heading to Lake Sailsbury might be worth the trip. Plus taking some pictures of the place would be nice.
Ok, then it decided I'll take a quick pitstop to the Lake of Sailsbury then.
*BOOM*

~Third POV~
In some part of the world where Jason was going another set of events are happening as four humans are helping an injured demon as they hurried along bringing them to their home to take care of said demon.
The demon in question has a very feminine face as she has amber eyes and dark red hair that reaches just past her jaw. Her attire is wearing a white dress as she was covered in small wounds with two black wings noticeable on her back.
The demon is named Glariza the lover to Gowther one of the Ten Commandments.
As the people help her out Glariza noticed how the humans are taking her to their village as they help to recover her as she spoke out confused, "Why…"
The human-looking at the demon could only respond with a friendly grin as he spoke to the demon surprising the demon, "Why not? We saw ya being injured, missy? What kind of men would we be if we can't help a damsel in distress? Demon or not it's not a way we live madam. It ain't right ya know?"
The demon looked surprised at how bold or reckless these humans areas she didn't have the strength to leave or say otherwise as they soon take her to their home to recover as she was ambushed by a group of Goddess Clan members before she managed to getaway.
She could only take their kindness as she used most of her strength to escape unaware that they are being tailed behind by another group.

At that same time, a big cloud of dust became apparent in the distance of the village harboring the demon as Jason looked at the sight as he stopped a few distances away from the village.
As he stopped in his running pace Jason was now walking towards the unsuspecting village as he began to gather more info about the place as he spoke, "Ok seems like this place is close to the lake. Still, it's going to take some time but for now, getting some info would be ideal and hopeful more subjects on magic I hope."
The thoughts of obtaining more knowledge and playing safe Jason went in as he did the first village as a commoner unaware of the troubles coming around…

Another group far behind the two groups a bunch of angels was soon on hot pursuit of an angel as one of their leaders spoke out in a rash tone, "Fellow members of the Goddess Clan members! We can't let that foul demon live as it took refuge with the humans! Betrayers of the Goddess Clan teachings!! We can't let that foul demon live! FOR THE GODDESS!!"
The others then spoke out as well encouraging them to go on the attack, "FOR THE GODDESS!!! FOR THE GODDESS!! FOR THE GODDESS!!!"
The person who spoke is a voluptuous woman with pink hair, large breasts, and angelic wings. She is clothed in a light blue, figure-hugging dress and wears a pair of large gauntlets over her hands.
She is Nerobasuta as she spoke out in hopes of getting rid of their arch enemies.
With that, they all went towards the direction where the human helped the demons also unaware of another threat they missed.
