"Shall we go home?"
**
"Thank you again, Sung-ho oppa!"
Soo-bin was smiling at Sung-ho like a kid smiles at an ice cream truck.
"Yeah. Sure."
Sung-ho waves goodbye and walks off towards his home.
'They had two swordsmen, a spearman, tanks, a healer, and a magician. But how do they get classes?'
Sung-ho thinks back to his time in the red dungeon.
'I wasn't assigned a class.'
Name: Yoo Sung-ho
Class: None
'How do I get a class?'
Sung-ho hears a voice from behind him.
"Sung-ho oppa!"
Sung-ho turns around to see Chae-rin running towards him.
"Hey Chae-rin."
"Are you going home!?"
Sung-ho nods.
"Wow! I live this way too!"
Sung-ho decides to ask Chae-rin about him not having a class.
"Hey Chae-rin. How do you get a class?"
Chae-rin looked around Sung-ho, confused and bewildered.
"You get your class when you become awakened. Do you not have one?"
Sung-ho nods from side to side.
"Huh? That's strange! Maybe you just haven't gotten it yet?"
"Possibly."
**
"See you later, Chae-rin."
Chae-rin runs up to her door and turns to wave back to Sung-ho.
"Bye Sung-ho oppa!"
Sung-ho waves one more time and walks off down the road.
Sung-ho lived a few houses down from Chae-rin.
"Hey mom! I'm home!"
Sung-ho's mom came downstairs to see him.
"Sung-ho! Welcome back!"
"Hey mom!"
They embrace each other in a hug.
"Where is Ha-yeon?"
"Ah! She's at her friends house."
"Okay."
Sung-ho followed as his mom led him into the kitchen where dinner was placed on the table.
"I made your favorite!"
Sung-ho sat down and indulged in his food. Sung-ho's favorite food was Bulgogi, a marinated beef dish.
"Thanks mom!"
Chae-yun sat down next to her son as he ate.
"How did the registration go?"
Sung-ho reaches into his pocket and takes out his raid card. Every raider is given a raid card with their name, rank, class, and guild, on it.
Name: Yoo Sung-ho
Rank: SS
Job: Unknown
Guild: None
"Wow! Great job son! SS Rank is really rare!"
Sung-ho smiled hearing her words.
"South Korea only has six SS Rank raiders!"
South Korea had six SS Rank raiders. One out of every nine million people become an SS Rank. China and India are the world's powers when it comes to SS Ranks. China has 162 SS Rank raiders, and India has 158 SS Rank raiders.
"Now they have seven SS Ranks."
"And my son is one of them!"
*****
Sung-ho wakes up in the morning and heads downstairs to see his mom cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast.
"Ah! Good morning son!"
Sung-ho has bed hair. The left side of his head is matted down flat against his head.
"Your hair is a mess!"
Sung-ho looked over to see his sister gawking at his appearance. Her hair was neatly done and organized.
"Shut it."
Ha-yeon continues to laugh harder while pointing to his head.
*Ding*
*Dong*
Sung-ho answers the doorbell to see two men in tuxedos, holding an envelope.
"Are you Sung-ho?"
"Yes, why?"
One of the men hands him the envelope with his Sung-ho's name on it.
'What is this?'
"You have been invited to attend the SS Rank conference. The letter will tell you the rest."
The men turn around and leave in their car while Sung-ho opens the letter.
'The conference will take place in two weeks and since I'm an SS Rank, I have to attend. The conference will take place in the United States.'
"What did they want oppa!?"
"I have to attend a conference due to me being an SS Rank."
Ha-yeon jumps from the table and runs over to Sung-ho.
"You're an SS Rank!"
Sung-ho nods his head as he continues to read the contents of the letter.
'The top four SS Ranks will be considered for an SSS Rank position.'
"My friend is going to love to hear my brother is an SS Rank!"
Ha-yeon reaches into her pocket and calls her friend.
"What are you doing sis?"
"I'm calling my friend!"
**
Sung-ho waves goodbye to his mother and sister as he left for the Association.
He wanted to earn some money so he decided to enter a few dungeons.
As he walked to the Association, he looked around at the bustling city life. He saw a raid team enter a green dungeon.
'Green is higher than blue.'
Sung-ho was right, green dungeons were B Rank dungeons. Blue dungeons were C Rank dungeons.
"Hey Sung-ho!"
Sung-ho looks around and doesn't see anyone calling out to him.
"Must be imagining things."
"Nope!"
Kim-lee appears out of thin air to welcome Sung-ho.
"How were you invisible?"
"I didn't tell you? My class is assassin!"
"Oh! Nice!"
"Chae-rin told me you didn't have a class."
Sung-ho nodded his head in disappointment.
"I don't know how, but I don't."
Kim-lee was confused as to why he didn't have a class.
'Wasn't it common knowledge that raiders got their classes when they awakened.'
Sung-ho hands Kim-lee the letter from the association.
"You're going to attend the conference!?"
"Yeah, I kind of have to since I'm an SS Rank."
**
Sung-ho and Kim-lee arrived at the Raider's Association where reporters were stationed outside.
Sung-ho walked up to one of the reporters.
"Hey. What's going on?"
"We are waiting for them to release the new SS Rank raider."
"Oh!"
Sung-ho nods to the reporter and walks inside of the Association.
"My Sung-ho! We need to talk to you!"
The administrator from his tests calls out to Sung-ho.
"What do you need?"
"Did you see the reporters waiting outside!?"
"Yeah."
The administrator sighs out of relief. He wouldn't need to explain everything to him then.
"We need you to interview with some of the reporters. It would greatly help our image!"
"Do I have too!?"
"Please!"
"Ugh! Fine!"
