We went back to our chamber and called it a night. I woke up first the next morning and discovered that Ritz and Nancy were not in the tent.
"Must have gone for a walk." I thought.
That morning was pretty cold ,considering it's still summer. I walked around our chamber to freshen my mind and feel a bit more energetic.
Everyone was still asleep when Ritz and Nancy returned.
"Where have you both been?" I enquired.
"We went to the lake to collect some water so we could make tea. After all we have to use that kettle!" Nancy replied.
"And will you tell me who has tea leaves and milk to make tea?" I said sarcastically.
"Well Ady has some tea leaves and I already told Jeff to lend us some milk." Nancy replied in a 'duh' tone.
"Enough of that! Nancy you forgot to tell her the most important news!" Ritz scolded her and turned to me and continued "Do you remember that Crazy Girl?"
"Who?" I asked stupidly.
Ritz rolled her eyes and impatiently continued "The girl who was staring at us creepily?"
I nodded my head and she went on "Well, when we both were going towards the lake I saw her following us! And I am pretty sure she was trying to hear our conversation! I was about to tell her to back off when she suddenly turned and went back her own way."
"Oh it must be nothing. Maybe she was just curious about you both and what you guys were doing so early in the morning. That's all!" I assured Ritz.
We then woke everyone up and had breakfast with the 'tea' Nancy made, except me because I am not a fan of tea. After clearing up the remains Ady asked "So guys what are we doing today?"
All of us just shrugged because we actually had no idea what to do today.
"Oh I know what we can do today! Let's explore the rest of the PWDBR!" Hessa said enthusiastically.
"But we have explored the whole place more or less. There's nothing left to explore." Maddie remarked dryly.
"Let's just go to the lake and spend our day fooling around. What say?" I asked everyone.
My idea was quickly accepted and we put on our bathing suits and rushed off towards the lake. We had a swim and played games and sunbathed. We didn't return to our chamber till late afternoon and we only came back because we were hungry!
We had a quick meal and decided to go to the bonfire spot to see if anything interesting was going on or not. We took our time and reached there only to find it deserted! Not a single soul was there and the benches which had been set up the night before were no where to be seen!
"It's funny that no one is here. Usually this place is full of people or at least the staff." Sally voiced the thoughts we all had been thinking.
"Maybe everyone is taking a rest! It's still afternoon!" Riya replied, trying to assure us.
"You're probably right. Anyway let's go into the forest and do some bird watching. I've been dying to do that since we've come here! I have already seen so many birds!" Nancy said excitedly.
We all burst into laughter and I replied smiling "Bird watching it is!"
So we all set off towards the forest and spent our entire evening bird watching and looking for birds' nest and pretty much lazing around. Once Maddie started chirping like a bird saying she is talking to the birds and to our surprise a bird came and sat on her hand! The bird looked at Maddie and then gave her nose a sharp peck and flew away! We laughed uncontrollably till we had tears in our eyes and teased Maddie non stop the entire journey till we reached our camp site. We returned to our chamber happily after having spent such an amazing day. But our happiness was short lived because when Hessa went into her tent to get some food, she came back screaming!
