Gutting The Fishes
A few hours after Azmel, left the 4th Bridge Warehouse. Sharlyn was in the middle of counting everything that Azmel has brought to the office to sell. In the middle of the late evening, The isolated warehouse was fully lit despite it was supposed to be turned off. Inside the Warehouse, Sharlyn wasn't the only woman inside, in fact, about 20 women were working side by side to carefully arranged the empty shelves and fitted all the new lumber, processed the wooden armor and clubs to reclaim planks, and firewood. All this was from the order of the 4th Bridge Administrator herself, Miss Jiaoyun.
"So..how much is the total amount that we have to pay him?..". (Miss Jiaoyun)
Miss Jiaoyun was standing next to Sharlyn, with her arm crossed as she observed the warehouse worker moving everything fast.
"30 fresh high-quality pine logs, 30 High-Grade Crystal, 183 wooden Armour, and 183 Wooden Clubs, 3 High-Grade Crystal, 30 Mid Crystal and 6 Low-Grade Crystal…in a total of everything was 33 High-Grade Crystal, 30 Mid Grade Crystal and 6 Low-grade Crystal…this is the largest transactions we have ever had since 8 years ago…". (Sharlyn)
Sharlyn enunciates everything clearly and handed the files to Miss Jiaoyun, who then inspected the whole numbers carefully.
"Cash the Crystal and give it to him later…Bonnie, Grona.. come with me..". (Miss Jiaoyun)
Miss Jiaoyun along with Captain Miss Bonnie and another dwarven lady follows her leaving the Warehouse to the outside, to have their private conversations.
"Grona…with that amount of wood…what can you do?..can we refurbish our entire Administrator Office?..". (Miss Jiaoyun)
"With that amount of logs… I and my team can do it…the entire office and including new furniture…give me just 4 days, everything will be done..". (Grona)
Grona was only about 125 cm high, but she was a dwarven woman, with a robust and muscular build, she was also the Administrator's official contractor. It has been a long time since 4th bridged has received such a large batch of high-quality resources, and she was naturally excited about it.
"Great..you can start the working tomorrow….".(Miss Jiaoyun)
She smiled and pat her trusted contractor on the back. Grona left the discussion and get back into the warehouse, leaving only Miss Bonnie with Miss Jiaoyun.
"Do you think he knows about the offers from other districts?..".(Miss Jiaoyun)
"With the advertisement of that size?… I am sure he knew about it…but still, he chose to sell to us…that alone shows that he is really wanted to stay here…". (Miss Bonnie)
"I guess so…but, can we even keep him here?….just look at the amount of resource he brought in, in his first day of diving into a dungeon...Alone…it's unbelievable…I even heard that he provided her 2 wives with new expensive clothes and even shiny jewelry…". (Miss Jiaoyun)
"What?…haha..are you jealous now?..". (Miss Bonnie)
"Pffttt…Come on, Bonnie…which woman, doesn't want new clothes and jewelry…everyone want it…I can see that even you got envious…". (Miss Jiaoyun)
"Me?…hahaha…maybe…but I am more interested in tasting his dick…Hahahaha….so anyway…what do you think he wanted to do?..". (Miss Bonnie)
"It was easy to see what he wanted…he wanted to be on our side…everyone knew that selling to a private merchant will fetch a better price than at any Administrator office…this is his way to show that he wanted to stay here…and also the way of him saying that, this was he is capable of and if we don't appreciate it..this type of transactions can easily be done on other bridge..".(Miss Jiaoyun)
Miss Jiaoyun wasn't an administrator for no reason, she was a capable leader and a very good politician. What Azmel intentions she can see it clearly, but what made her felt amused and intrigued, is that the personality of this man. He isn't acted the way any normal man would, instead he was quite subtle yet very outspoken in everything that he does, not to mentions very calculative.
"He's good…I mean, to be honest, my team has gone down on the Goblin Cavern before… but were forced to retreat…but him?…he went alone and come back unharmed….I kinda wanted to see how he dealt with the dungeon…". (Miss Bonnie)
"No..don't interfere with him…even if wanted to, we can't be the first to offer him that…we need to maintain our status quo..we can't show him our desperations…if he asked then we will give him….we will treat him normally…but not overbearing…from what I know after hearing from every single person that has made an interaction with him… he prefers normalcy, but does not mind being treated a little bit special…". (Miss Jiaoyun)
"Whatever you say~…by the way, did you still have any crystal to pay him?…I mean that is 33 high-grade crystal…that is a lot..". (Miss Bonnie)
"I can…the office still have the savings…also I can now just sell those big lumbers at the high price on the other bridge…surely, that can cover it…this probably going to be our turning point now Bonnie…I'm excited!!".(Miss Jiaoyun)
All the Administrator Office Worker were getting busy that night, flows of people coming in and out of the warehouse to the anchors bringing pallets of planks, and the work on the 4th Bridge Town center was started immediately. Making many of the bystanders wondering who's selling them the lumbers of even where are they getting them.
As soon I get home, as always no one was home, Minako and Maria still haven't finished their work yet. After taking a shower, I was taking care of my equipment, cleaning them, and maintaining them.
"Hmm…since there's still time…I should make a planter…just eating fished is not that healthy to me…".
Since I have time to get something done, I bought {Fertilized Soil}, 2 bags of Sweet Potato seed, and 10 iron ingots all just cost 23 S-Coins. I needed the Iron ores to make a few nails and also just to have them in stock. I use 1 log and turned them into planks, Using the [Crafting] menu I crafted a simple and sturdy planter box, it was 3 meters long and 2 meters wide, just long enough to be placed on the back deck, where our shower places were.
The process was fast the seeds were already planted and watered in just 20 minutes. Since I have nothing to do now but wait for my wives to come home, I once again crafted a large kitchen knife using the iron that I bought, and cutting boards, and 2 big wooden barrels. And started to gutted all the Sea Bream that I caught today, the Sea Bream were big so it was very easy to gut them, the barrels were one to store their guts and another to store their blood.
"Maybe if I use these fish's blood to water the plant's something good might happened…perhaps the plants would yield double the amount?..or got mutated to be much more delicious?..well, it's just an experiment...if it's good then great...if not I just buy another seed and plant them again…".
Usually, in a fantasy world, magnificent things can happen, so I thought why not just try and experiments with it. I am not that dexterous in gutting fish, so I have to do it slowly and carefully to not damaged the fish meat, I have 33 levels 1 Sea Bream to take care of, I took the remaining afternoon to finished everything.
"I'm Home~….AHHH!!!…Azmel!..What happened?..". (Minako)
Minako was the first to come back home with a beaming smile, but as soon as she entered the living room, she was shocked and scream from the door.
"Oh, Welcome home Minako…What?..oh this?…calm down..I'm not hurt or anything…I just gutted some fish~…".
I realize that my whole arm was covered in blood, I didn't wear any shirts because I know it will be a little bit messy. Minako calmed down after seeing 2 barrel that was filled with fish guts and a lot of fish inside of it.
"I thought something bad happened to you?…why didn't you wait?…you should let me and Maria do this…let me change my clothes first..then let me help you okay~..". (Minako)
She went into the bedroom to change after kissing me, a few seconds later, she comes out with her sleeves rolled and started to take over the whole process.
"You know…next time, as a husband…you should let me and Maria do this…this is our duty as wives...I know that you were worried about us, tired after getting off work…but, these kinds of things are important to us…if you didn't let us do it..even if you meant well, we will feel like we have failed as a wife…and people outside will also think the same…so…even if doing this was hard for you…please let us…okay honey?~..". (Minako)
She gently explained, as she just focused on gutting the remaining fish.
"
Hearing her, I step back and sat on my chair, and looked at Minako working. We shared about our day, and talked about everything, a few minutes then, Maria also get home, and she also did the same thing as Minako, clean herself, come back to the Living room, get the fire running, and helped Minako.
"Hubby..you surely worked hard today..I have never seen so much Sea Bream like this before…Should we dried them?..". (Maria)
"Huh?…no, I'm Just gonna stores them inside My [Inventory]..that way we can cook fresh fish everyday…".
"that will do…wow, right now were are eating much more luxurious like those rich peoples~….Honey~, what about this blood and guts?..". (Minako)
"I will have some use for them too…oh I almost forget…can you prepared this too?…
I nearly forgot about the Hammerhead Shark, since Minako and Maria were experts about gutting and preparing any fish they surely can handle this. I let the shark out and its 3-meter large body almost filled the entire living room.
"Kyaaaaa!!..Honey!..what is that?…". (Minako)
Minako and Maria jumped to the side and shouted, surprised seeing such a large shark in their living room.
"That…is a Level 10 Hammerhead Shark…this Bastard was the one that bite of my leg….and now, we are going to eat it..".
I Know the Hammerhead shark didn't have my leg in its stomach, because it only bite my legs off and I remember seeing my leg flew off into the sea.
"I thought the whole time it was just a story…". (Minako)
Minako and Maria went and poke the large beast a few times, before having the courage to get close to it and fully touching it.
"Me too…". (Maria)
"Well..I have always an honest person…so…can you two process it?..".
"it's just a large fish, Honey..it just the same as any fish…We are eating Steak today~..Thank you, Honey~..". (Minako)
Both of them were hacking the 3 meters long Hammerhead shark to pieces with a glee smile on their face. Which is a sight to behold actually, kinda fascinating and scary at the same time. Today the dinner was much more lavish, Minako uses her golden hand, to cook us the Shark steak, and Beef mixed Shark meat curry with rice. Which was a dinner that even the royal family would be envious of, I know because Minako and Maria constantly saying it.
