Another disclaimer: this is my first novel so it probably won’t turn out that good and it may seem rushed, I know the first chapters have bad spelling and stuff like that but it gets better once you get to like chapter 10, they also get longer as I start to get better.

Lin Kai, the MC, is a regular guy from America, west side, who loved to watch anime and read cultivation novels, so when he gets reincarnated, he already knows what’s about to go down. 

He reincarnates into a good and well respected family and is the most talented in the world.

But because of his laziness, and his thought process of “I’m probably the MC of some manga or anime,” he loses his family to what should have been someone he shouldn’t fear if he actually practiced and tried to get stronger. He only survives due to the his knee system, which doesn’t seem useful.

Maybe he can turn everything around with his insane talent! But little does he know that even though he is the most talented, he’s still an amateur when it comes to getting revenge and making plans.

divided into
Mind improving, flesh refining, blood replacing, meridian improving and sense improving.
These 5 levels doesn’t have an order and you can start by one of your choosing, the first are the hardest and last is the easiest. Each level is also divided into 5 stages.

Earth roaming level- 10 stages

Heaven roaming level- 10 stages

Beta realm- 10 stages

Focus of power- 3 stages (relatively easy to pass) 

Devastation stage- 10 stages

Alpha stage- 10 stages

More stages to be added later on.

Until beta realm, the first stages are going to be extremely easy and MC and friends are going to fly past them.

Reaching Towards The Peak

Lin Kai had a week to cultivate and make himself stronger against the underworld sect. 


So far he is the strongest in '3 merchants town', it's just that nobody knows.


"Right now I'm in earth roaming 3rd stage, the underworlds elder would at least be heaven roaming 2nd stage." Lin Kai thought as entered closed cultivation in his room.


"If I actually focused on cultivating, I'd probably be in the celestial stage by now."


"Besides cultivating maybe I should create some techniques, I'll just try to copy some techniques from the anime's I've watched." He thought


3 days passed Lin Kai's is in the 5 stage of earth roaming stage.


He spent some time creating a technique from memory.


"This is tougher then I thought, I almost succeeded but it doesn't work since the laws of physics apply in this world... maybe if I combine them into a sword art they'd be better."


3 more days pass and Lin Kai advanced his cultivation to earth roaming 7 stage and finally completed his sword technique, "hmmm, what should I name it?" Lin Kai thought for a second.


The technique had 4 attacks, the first is quick slash which sheathes the sword and pulls it out at fast speeds, the second is illusionary strike which uses earth energy to make an illusionary sword and disguise the real sword with earth energy, the third technique is center slash which stabs the sword at his enemy and launches a straight sword slash, the fourth technique is called reverse slash and is the strongest one, it launches a horizontal slash but bends space and appears behind an enemy and heads toward the enemy.


"With this I should be able to beat a heaven roaming 1st stage, but it's still not enough." Lin Kai thought "I'll spend as much time to break through to 9th stage of earth roaming."


The next day, Lin Kai was still in closed cultivation and the people who knew about Underworld sect coming were getting nervous.


"We should tell patriarch about what's happening!" One of them said.


"You idiot, do you want to die that badly?" The Eder said, "Hmmm, but your right, young master doesn't seem to be coming out of his room... you guys stay here and I'll go tell patriarch." The elder left nervously and in a hurry.


"Patriarch Lin zhao, I have something to say." The elder walked in and greeted the patriarch. 


The patriarch was playing with his newborn son Lin feng when he looked up and asked the elder what he needed, "Ah, Lin xie, what is it?" 


"Well, a week ago on Yu yans birthday, Du family declared that they'd wipe out our family with the help of Underworld sect..." Elder Lin Xie said looking down.


Liz zhao put Lin feng down and asked Lin xie with a cold voice, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"


Lin xie bowed down with sweat coming down his face, "Young master Lin Kai said for us to not inform you and if we do, he'll kill us, he also said that he'll take care of it."


"That's right, so why did you inform him?"


Out of nowhere, Lin Kai came with his head right next to Lin Xie's ear. 


"Relax I won't kill any of you, I just said that to keep you guys scared and not tell father." Lin Kai said reassuringly while he redid his yukata to how gintoki wore it, while everyone usually wore regular robes, Lin Kai liked how he looked, even if everyone thought he was unusual because of it.


"Father, call grandma and let's go meet this supposed underworld sect." Lin Kai said.
