Do you guys sell fabric?

Lin Kai's group had finally won.

An elder got up and began to speak, "Congratulations to the winners, and for the people who won runner up, and remember, do not hold any grudges, there will be another tournament next year, and what matters most is how you've improved."

"Now for the winners reward, Lin Kai, Hao Ran, and Cheng Li, come and take your rewards, and remember to split it evenly, also you guys will be allowed to take another skill set from the skill hall whenever you want to."

Lin Kai asked the judge, "Elder, can we exchange the high level healing pills for heaven talent pills?"

This was something Hao Ran and Lin Kai thought of before to help Cheng Li improve her talent.

The elder looked at him and nodded his head.

They won 20x heaven talent pills and 5x yin yang pills.

"I don't need any of the pills, I'm fine with a skill set." Hao Ran told Lin Kai.

"Thanks." Lin Kai thanked Hao Ran and turned to Cheng Li and gave her the heaven talent pills.

"Thanks you guys, in the future, I'll get stronger and I won't hold any of you back." Cheng Li said in confidence.

After dividing their spoils, they went to the skill hall.

"Which technique were you talking about?" Hao Ran asked.

Lin Kai looked somewhere, "This one." He pulled out a dusty book named 'Fake body replication'.

With this he'd be able to fake his death and leave the sect, of course someone very powerful would be able to tell its fake.

Hao Ran and Cheng Li looked around and picked the techniques that suited them, 'spreading fire' for Hao Ran and 'earl of the forest' for Cheng Li.

"I'll go to my house and cultivate for about a month. Alright?" Lin Kai told them.

"I'll also cultivate for a month. After that we'll start our plan, right?" Hao Ran asked Lin Kai.

Lin Kai nodded and they left for there houses.

They went back to their houses and started to cultivate.

Lin Kai took out his new technique and looked at the materials which were easy to get.

'Lifeless doll' just a human sized doll.

'Soul shard' this needed a piece of Lin Kai's soul, which could damage him if he took a large chunk out but all he needed was the tiniest piece.

The rest were just materials to make the fake body look like him such as hair, and eyes.

Lin Kai opened his door and left to go make a lifeless doll.

Lin Kai went to the sect shop where they sold pills and techniques.

"Hey, do you guys sell fabric?" Lin Kai asked the shopkeeper with a straight face.

The shopkeeper was confused, "What do you need "fabric" for?"

"I have a girl that I like and wanted to make her something." Lin Kai lied but still said it with a straight face.

"We do have fabric, I'll go check in the back." The shopkeeper got up, and came back with a thick sheet of fabric which was of good quality and felt slick to the touch.

"Is this all you need?" The shopkeeper asked.

Lin Kai felt the fabric, looked at the shopkeeper and said, "Do you guys have any that feel like skin?"

The shopkeeper looked at Lin Kai horrified, "What kind of fetish is this man into?" He thought to himself.

"Sorry, that was a weird thing to say, let me say it again. Do you have any fabric that is rougher then this?"

The shopkeeper sighed and grumbled something about how he should quit his job.

The shopkeeper came back with another sheet of fabric.

"Is this all you need?" The shopkeeper asked again.

Lin Kai felt the fabric and nodded, "Can I get more of this?"

The shopkeeper looked at Lin Kai speechless, he had never met someone so weird in his life.

He left and came back with one more sheet. "Is this enough?" The shopkeeper asked.

"Can I just get some more until it's about my height?" Lin Kai asked.

Right now, the shopkeeper wanted to smack Lin Kai in the face with all his strength but stopped himself, went to the back and got stack of fabric until he couldn't see anything in front of him, he brought 2 more stacks of them.

"Is this enough?" The shopkeeper asked contemplating of taking his own life. Why? Because every single day for the past 8 years he's worked here, the same thing, some weirdo comes to the store and asks for the weirdest of things, now it was someone that wanted stacks and stacks of fabric that felt like human skin.

"Hmm." Lin Kai looked at the stacks and nodded, he payed the shopkeeper, lifted them up with his earths energy and left.

As he left, Lin Kai decided to never do anything that embarrassing in his life again.
