Hao Ran attempts murder as a joke

Lin Kai got back to his house and put the stacks of fabric down.

He sat on his bed crossed his legs and began to cultivate, he began to cultivate his '5 elements destruction' technique.

"Tsk." He banged his fist on the door and Cheng Li opened.

"Why did you knock twice in under 2 seconds?" Cheng Li asked Lin Kai.

Lin Kai forgot that she was still an earth roaming border stage 1, and she couldn't run to the door from her bed in under a second.

"I've got a request for you." Lin Kai asked.

"Just tell me, I'll do anything." Cheng Li replied.

"Can you make me a doll that looks like me?" Lin Kai asked.

Cheng Li was stunned, she excitedly agreed.

Cheng Li started to do her thing with the fabric and Lin Kai left since he didn't want to disturb her, it didn't affect her work since cultivators have good memory so she was able to remember even small details about Lin Kai.

Lin Kai walked up to Hao Ran.

"So you were ready, huh? What's wrong? Let's go already." Hao Ran laughed and started making fun of Lin Kai.

"Shut up and let me test a new fusion skill we can do." Lin Kai walked into his house and into his backyard with Hao Ran following him.

"Wow, I never thought of getting a pool in my backyard." Hao Ran looked at Lin Kai's pool.

"Use your 'fire of basan' skill." Lin Kai told Hao Ran.

Hao Ran lit a flame the size of his hand in his palm, and on the other side Lin Kai placed his hand.

"Your 'fire of basan' is stronger then the fire I can make right now, so what we'll do instead is you light a fire and I'll make some water." As Lin Kai said this a ball of water appeared on his palm.

"You just let me take control of it after this." Lin Kai began to circulate his 'yin yang theory' and it exploded on their hand.

"Damn it! It was almost there, let's try again!" Lin Kai said.

Lin Kai and Hao Ran tried again and again and again and again until they finally got it down.

It was already night by then.

"You bastard." Hao Ran cursed Lin Kai while trying to catch his breath laying on the ground.

Lin Kai was next to him sweating on the ground, Lin Kai turned to Hao Ran, "Hey, if I ever die, you know what my last words are going to be?" Lin Kai asked Hao Ran.

"What?" Hao Ran thought Lin Kai was going to say something nice and meaningful.

Lin Kai held his fist up and said, "Hao Ran is a bitch." Lin Kai said with his fist falling back down after saying that.

Hao Ran just laid there, staring out into space, "I hate you."

"And that's what makes us friends." Lin Kai said with a smile and they both fell asleep on the grass.

Suddenly it was morning and Hao Ran woke up, saw Lin Kai asleep next to him and an evil smile appeared on his face.

He took a large piece of dirt that was the same size as the small pool with his earth energy, he winded up a kick and screamed "WAKE UP!!" at the sleeping Lin Kai and kicked him into the pool, Lin Kai had already woken up with the kick but felt the cold water on his back and all of a sudden he was submerged.

He was able to see Hao Ran's shadow from the water and attempted to swim back up. But all he heard from the pool was, "I call this, the attempted murder!!" Lin Kai was confused and continued swimming up, and regretted that he made the pool very deep.

He then realized what Hao Ran meant by 'the attempted murder' as a huge dirt block landed on him and pushed him all the way back down.

Lin Kai used his power and destroyed the block and jumped out the pool, where he saw Hao Ran laughing till he couldn't breathe.

"Alright, since that's how you wanna play, it's on then." Lin Kai said with a scary face, but Hao Ran didn't take him seriously.

"Let's go check on your little doll." Hao Ran left the house with tears in his eyes.

Hao Ran walked into Cheng Li's house without even knocking. "Hey, how's the doll going, almost complete, I spent all night on this, everything is perfect except the eyes, Lin Kai's eyes are so black and dead looking, he makes this doll look more lively then him."

"Don't worry about it, there's not a soul who cares about him in the sect beside us and actually knows what he looks like."

Lin Kai walked in, took the doll from Cheng Li, and put a piece of his soul and it started to define key features such as the hair and the skin, turning them from fabric into, almost, the real thing, Lin Kai put it in his storage ring and left grumbling about something.

After walking some more with Hao Ran, they arrived at the contribution center, where they can turn in contributions to the sect and take quest to earn them.

They grabbed the quest and started to leave the sect, and Hao Ran could tell that Lin Kai was still pissed off.
