Noami had been listening. Before Yellow and Black had come. Watching their actions. And they found out just now. Now.
Thoughts are interesting. Very.
Especially when they are thoughts of a stranger.
This girl seems like darkness.
This girl is clearly not so mature.
Whispering about me? That's…
Eavesdropping bird. Odd.
Listening to thoughts could've made Noami laugh.
How pitying.
Now they notice. Now. Now. Now.
"How would I know that it wasn't a girl who turned into a robin, and is spying on us right now?" Black placed her hands on her hips.
Noami rolled her eyes. "I was not spying, you little, ignorant girl."
"I'm not little! You're little, you rude old la—"
"Okay. Let's just calm down for a moment." Yellow interrupted and sighed, looking straight at Noami's eyes. "Please stop spying on us."
"I'll say it one more time. I was not spying." Noami hissed. "You happened to be in my territory, and I happened to be right next to you."
"Territory, huh." Black scratched her chin. "I don't think anyone uses that word today. Only if you 'happen' to be an animal."
"Maybe I am."
"Okay, okay." Black glared daggers at Noami.
"Who are you, though?"
"Maybe I should ask that to you, White." Noami summoned her bow and three stunning arrows out of thin air and stretched the rod, pointing it straight at the three girls.
Black glared at Noami. Yellow put up a shield of flame. White clenched her teeth.
Noami's lips curled into a thin, sly smile.
Were they thinking that she would do something?
Do they realize that she is cautious of them too?
This was amusing.
"Are you thinking that we are a joke?" They may have noticed the smile forming on Noami's lips. White unsheathed an ice sword, it's blade gleaming in the sunlight. Astoundingly, there were no traces of melting.
Noami laughed and tossed her braid to the side.
Leseme, prepare to attack.
"Of course not."
Still, White raised her sword. Black readied her dagger. Yellow thrust out her scepter and glanced warily of the others.
It was funny looking at three anxious girls and a girl who seemed not worrying at all.
"It was you." Black bent down; her eyes fixed on Noami.
Both White and Yellow gripped their weapons tightly.
This was it. Their little moment of trust broke in dust. Clearly, they were preparing to attack. They were, indeed, danger.
Attack!
White, Yellow, and Black leaped out towards Noami, as though they read her mind.
Just then, Leseme and her tribe arrived. They growled fiercely and joined the battle.
Who dares harm Noami!?!
White whipped around and cried, "Wolves!"
She spread out her hand and immediately, three wolves became frozen up in an ice cube and could not move anymore.
Noami grit her teeth and shot a few arrows towards the frozen wolves. Her accuracy was great, so the arrows shot through the ice, breaking the ice into pieces.
She jumped on a boulder, her feet touching the cold surface. Noami looked around. She had the gift of the eyesight of a hawk, so she could see even a rabbit two miles away.
"You are more dangerous than I thought," Black ducked a wolf's open jaw.
Noami smirked and tilted her head, watching the intense battle go on.
At least they weren't harming the wolves.
Yellow jumped in the air and flew up. "Calm down everyone. This girl may not be respectful to strangers in the woods, but she doesn't have any bad intentions." Yellow raised both of her hands, and locked eyes with Noami. "Retreat with the creatures of yours and we'll do you no harm…at least I won't. After all, I just met the others."
Noami snorted. Trust doesn't come this easy. Those three were already teaming up and fighting together. They were so careless
