Fighting Hu Wei

Rewinding the time to the morning of this particular Saturday. Feng had gone through his regular routine and is currently at the Black Eagle Training Centre.

The main difference was that he could not go to the gym for his work out. This is because he had made arrangements to meet Hu Wei here at the dojo on level 3 but had not given him any specific timing.

Kaoz, even after reincarnating, I am such an idiot, thought Feng as he swung his wooden sword in the dojo. He had not even gotten Hu Wei's contact before parting with him last Saturday. Now there is no way to confirm if Hu Wei would even turn up.

After swinging for an hour, Hu Wei had arrived at the Dojo.

"Let's spar" Noticing his arrival while swinging his sword, Feng held his sword down at a 45-degree angle, trying his best to act as cool as he could when he said those words back facing Hu Wei.

Hu Wei could not figure out what the guy in front of him is thinking. Firstly, his size is much smaller than he is. The young boy in front of him had obviously just started training. Compared to himself, Hu Wei had begun training at a young age as his parents were both pro fighters.

While not exactly famous and successful, he had at least grown up in the right environment. Just the nutritional fluid he took is enough to bankrupt a typical family. While they could not afford an S or A rank fluid, he had been drinking either B or C rank fluid daily since 12.

As such, he had reached the barely step into the peak of the body foundation stage, allowing him to go professional at a relatively young age. The nutritional fluid had allowed him to gain his bulky muscular body and 1.9m tall height.

Body size would definitely play a part in a fight, no matter what. Of course, the experience is equally, if not more important, but the guy in front of him is just in his teens!

Secondly, who would ever challenge another person to a fight with his back facing the other party? While not exactly near the young man, he could quickly close the gap with his long legs and slam him into the ground!

Lastly, isn't this guy cheating? The boy in front of him is holding onto a wooden sword while he had just arrived and have not even changed into his work out attire.

Thinking about all the above, Hu Wei turned around and left. He did indeed come as he was curious, especially with what he had seen at the alley, but now he realises that the guy in front of him was plain dodgy.

Luckily, he could access the Black Eagle Training Centre's basic areas by flashing his Pro Fighter card. Else he would have been con to buy an entry ticket.

Hearing his footstep leaving further, thanks to his early stage sense refinement, Feng could not help but turn around and chase after him.

"wait wait wait.....you are already here; why don't you come in?" Feng said as he raised his hands to try and stop Hu Wei

"Sorry I am busy. I got to train for my next fight. it was my mistake for coming over," Hu Wei replied without even turning back

"just a spar 5 minutes....no 1 minute....no 10 moves.... and you will know that this visit is worth it"

Hu Wei eye brow's raises on hearing the young boy's words. No matter what, he is a pro fighter and has his pride as a professional. Feng's words seem to indicated that he would lose in 10 moves.

"god damn kids, just because I am on a losing streak, they think I am some easy meat", Hu Wei muttered "got to teach them a lesson."

"Looks like you have no idea what you are getting yourself into", Hu Wei growled.

Chuckling Feng knew he got the spar he needed. "I will wait here for you. In case you need to warm up or whatever. Anytime you are ready, I will be ready."

Looking at how confident he is, Hu Wei could only snort and went to get ready for the spar.

30 minutes later, Hu Wei returned to the Dojo level after warming up at the gym below and met Feng in the sparing ring.

With sweat glistening on his well-sculpted muscle, anyone normal that had accidentally bumped into Hu Wei would probably be peeing in his pants right now.

Looking at Hu Wei's intimidating figure, Feng could not help but realise that a pro fighter is someone that is a few levels above him.

All he could do was hope he had enough in his tank to finish this spar. Since Hu Wei is standing in front of him barehanded, Feng threw his wooden sword to the sparring ringside.

Seeing the young boy throw away his wooden sword Hu Wei felt that he was throwing away his only chance of winning. He had noticed the wooden sword ever since he got into the sparing ring but had thought of it as him giving the boy a handicap.

Unknown to him, Feng had held onto the wooden sword as a habit from his previous life as a swordsman in Gods Art.

As this was a spar, not a brawl, there was a fitness centre representative to ensure things do not get out of hand.

"hmmm?" A white-haired man who looked to be in his 60s stroke his goatee as he looked at the sparing ring Feng and Hu Wei was in. With a dignified aura, he had been walking around the building to inspect it to ensure everything was in tip-top condition.

"What is going on there," he asked the younger man standing behind him. Hearing his words, the young man went forward to the fitness centre staff that is by the dojo ring.

Scuttling back, he reported respectfully to the older gentleman," Sir, it is a spar between Hu Wei, who had recently turned professional and one of our member."

"One of our member? a non-professional too, I assume?" the older man inquired.

"yes, sir."

"interesting...let's take a look, shall we," Said the older man. A spar might be normal, but for a professional to spar an amateur. That is someone one doesn't see every day.

While the older man walked over with, the younger man following him behind the spar between Hu Wei and Feng had started.

Hu Wei did not want to waste too much time on this fight. As such, he used about 70% of his strength to fight Feng. He could not go 100% as it would be bad for him, a professional, to over injure an amateur.

As if reading Hu Wei's thought, Feng knew Hu Wei would not go all out at the start. However, he needed to beat Hu Wei at his peak or else he might not accept his loss.

Launching forward towards the young boy, Hu Wei quickly closed the gap between them and launched his fist towards Feng's kidney.

Feng had already noticed Hu Wei's intention from his experience by seeing his movement. Gee not wanting to prolong the fight ehh, thought Feng. Feng knew he could not match Hu Wei's speed and could only block the shot.

Bam, the fist of Hu Wei and Feng connected. The older man below the ring saw their movement's and his eyes started to narrow.

Seeing his fist blocked, Hu Wei did not waste any time as he followed up with another punch towards the young man's chin, which seemed to connect but did not. Realising something amiss, he widened the gap between himself and the young chap.

"interesting..." the older man below muttered.

"you got to be serious, or else this spar is meaningless", Feng taunted towards Hu Wei

With a scowl, Hu Wei dashed in towards Feng once again, this time with his full strength. Once Hu Wei aimed for the kidney of the young man.

Fast! Feng thought as his body reacted the exact same way he did on the first punch.

Bam...

"what?" Hu Wei stood on the spot, stunned after the exchange as his body refused to move. All he saw was the arms of the young man by the side of his head.

"I won", Said Feng as he lowered his arm to his back.

After a couple of seconds, Hu Wei recovered from the stun, unable to process what had just happened.

Clap clap clap

The older man who had just witness the brief exchange clapped.
